Firstly, all the staff were very helpful. The room was nice and as ranked above the property was clean and well maintained.
Here are a couple of gripes, the biggest one first. I contacted the hotel by WhatsApp four days before arrival to book collection from the airport which after a few days they agreed to collect us. When we existed the airport there was nobody there so we stood around waiting looking very venerable until speaking to a taxi guy decided to get a taxi ourselves. Please note our phones did not work so couldn't contact them. No apology from the hotel. They should not leave people stranded at the airport. The property boasts two restaurants and a cake shop. The cake shop was never open, although that didn't bother us. The two other restaurants were fine although the main one somewhat soleless. The pool side bar/restaurant opens at around midday except Sunday it wasn't till evening because it was Dave's day off. The most surprising thing was that neither the main or pool bar did not know how to make a margarita despite it being on the drinks list. Not the end of the world but it is supposed to be a top hotel. All in all we enjoyed our stay but the hotel needs to up its game when it comes to food and beverage and collecting people from the airport.

Nice place to stay. Clean and functional; however, expensive and the food was not good at all. I would recommend going to the breakwater cafe next door instead of the bad in-house offerings.
1.5
Great location, modern, clean and roomy.
Service is slow, and needs a lot of chasing.
Many staff don't have good enough English to offer proper service ... leading to mistakes.
Airport transfer turns out to be twice the cost of a local taxi ... so be warned!
Restaurant is mediocre and twice the price of the Palm Sugar cafe next door.

Pretty much a monopoly property if you need more than two stars in Honiara. Like a rather pared down Holiday Inn in the USA, but with prices about three times higher. Staff is friendly, but sometimes Solomons shy. Rooms are small but generally functional, although hot water scarce on my final stay.

This hotel was recommended by Austrade. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Internet and electricity are reliable here. We can do currency exchange at reception or through the ANZ ATM. I will stay again if I come here for another time.

Staff was incredibly accommodating with our check-in and check-out. Our flight was late so we checked in at nearly 3am and the staff let us keep our room until 3pm.
Room was quiet, clean and had everything we needed.

Beautiful views of ocean, units spaced nicely, restaurants nearby, extremely helpful staff.

Terrible customer service. Extremely expensive and poor quality dining.

It was wonderful and great hotel in Solomon Islands!!

Liked the ocean view, people and staff friendly, but friendly doesnt translate to being helpful. No hot water in room for three days due to broken heating element they had to order, missed a day cleaning the room even after i called. They nod yes and smile but then, nothing.

Very nice property. Excellent security on the grounds. Good restaurant with varied menu. Loved the pool and harbor side views. Honiara accommodations can be challenging but this property is up toUSA standards. I had a group of 3 rooms and everyone was pleased. We stayed for 4 days before leaving on the Bilikki for a ten day live aboard dive trip and it was a great way to recover from jet lag, do some shopping and see the war memorials around town. We would book here again.

I attempted to stay here but the airlines cancelled my flight due to weight of fuel and cargo so a few of us could not board. I contacted the hotel since this is an issue that I now know happens a lot and no assistance they charged not only for one night but my whole stay!!!! I would not recommend since you never can control what the airline does if they won’t make an exception!!!!

Hotel was clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful. Service was slow and inefficient in the restaurant- the wait staff was pleasant and well intentioned, just did not seem to have a good grasp of customer service. The room was clean and comfortable. The grounds were well kept up. The pool was nice. The local area was sketchy, I didn't feel much like venturing out on foot to explore. Overall a decent hotel, and better than the alternatives that I saw.

If you have to go to Honiara, this is the place to stay

This hotel is a catastrophe. From we arrived to we leaved, we got surprises after surprises.
First the service here is seriously terrible, slow and nothing like any other place. I have traveled to 100 of countries and never seen like this before.
There is always 8 peoples from staff in restaurant and everyone just looking at each other waiting for some of the other taking our orders, serving food.. It so obvious and one of them even say “you can go and ask them” to the other staff.
Food quality is poor and overpriced. Staff at whole hotel are silence and not saying “hi” when we pass, they looks shy. We ordered some food and got something else. Pizza is the worst I ever tasted. They came back to me 3 times asking what I actually ordered.
We booked guided tour from lobby, for 100 USD. After the tour started, we got informed that museum, marked, memorial, botanical garden etc is closed due Sunday, and we got charged full price even the tour was 1,5 hours and not 3.5 h as I should...
Rooms are not clean and after we come back to hotel after a day trip, the door to our room was open after they cleaned our rooms. Luckily nobody took our stuff inside room while we was out. Same happens after dinner.
Also they are renovation the hotel while our stay, noisy and not relaxed atmosphere around whole hotel area. Gym costs extra to access.
Actually nothing positive to say here and they promote this hotel to be the best at the island. Great job!

The Heritage Hotel was excellent - very good from all points of view.
Will definitely stay there next time.

Reasonable location for short stay. More suited for business purposes than leisure. Staff very helpful but like most western style places in Honiara food and beverages are expensive.
Pool is lovely but hard to relax during lunch or happy hour with people ds dining and drinking around it while you swim.
Dining on waterfront is quite relaxing and staff attentive.

Good hotel. Infortunately aircon for my one night stay wasn’t working. Fan mode was ok for the night but didn’t sleep well

Very clean and welcoming

Great hotel but the Food and Beverage Manger needs to visit the nearby hotels as they totally out do the poor food served at Heritage Park.

We spent 6 days at this hotel in December and we had a very pleasant stay.
Friendly and helpful staff, lovely and well kept gardens, a clean and comfortable room, a relaxing pool area with bar and seating right next to the sea (no real beach, but swimming is not advisable in any case).
Wi-fi worked well. The food offering was a bit limited perhaps, but it was good and we enjoyed every meal. The hotel is in walking distance of the museum and the town centre. Overall we would recomend this hotel: an oasis in Honiara.

Great views over Ironbottom Sound to Savo Island and Florida (aka Nggela) Island - if you are interested in the naval and land battles of Guadalcanal in WW2. The hotel runs tours to some of the important sites, but they are too superficial and way over-priced if you have a real interest in the battles . Better to arrange a program with a local specialist.

Great room, great reception staff, food very disappointing. Will definitely not eat in the restaurant again but will tolerate the cafe for the convenience and comfort of a newer hotel in Honiara
1.5
Resturant staff friendly but very slow service. Often did not have beverages or desserts.

Hot water was not always in our room. Although solar panels, the booster did not seem to make a difference.

booking with Expedia was easy and fast, the upgrade was amazing along with the friendly service

From the pickup at the airport to the drop off at the end of our holiday, the service provided by the hotel was excellent. Our room was ample, with a large balcony which we frequently used. The grounds of the hotel are beautiful and the pool was a very good size. We’d recommend this hotel.
