We loved this place. My family of six had a great opportunity to stay in this quaint, lovely place. Pool was a great hit with my younger ones. And being in the center of town was definitely great place to walk around. Great breakfast and friendly service by Sebastian. All around highly recommend this lovely place.

A perfect location for my needs. However, I never had hot water - 5 days of cold showers! My room: decent size, good A/C & great to have a mini fridge, but very hard bed/pillows, no sound proofing (I could hear the person in the next room snoring), & needs some maintenance attention. For the most part, the staff is really welcoming, kind, & helpful (though no one was eve able to effectively manage the hot water issue). No coffee in room or lobby & coffee shop attached to property doesn't open until 7 or 8 - so buy coffee/breakfast the night before if you have an early excursion.

Check-in was quick and easy! The room was neat and spacious enough for the two of us staying here. The only inconvenience was that the elevator didn’t work so I walked up two stories to the third floor with my luggage. However, the place is beautiful overall and I would love to stay here again!

Great location for restaurants and museums. Elevator was not working (as warned in the listing) but 4th floor on hot days was not enticing. Pool was very cloudy. Staff was helpful in getting us into a room on a lower floor -- thank you for that. Independent coffee shop right off the lobby was convenient and good coffee. Interior courtyard is charming. Good shower pressure and hot water! Thank you for help holding our bags and getting us a taxi on our last day!

Elevator not working so going up and downstairs was hectic

Fantastic location. Beautiful appearance. Nice staff. Great coffee shop on location. Not great maintenance around facility. None of the fountains or pool waterfall operational. A ton of mosquitos and NoSeeUms around property, including in the rooms. Pool had so many dead bugs on surface it was unusable.

There air conditioning system is way to old don’t work properly. The mattress is super hard, the towels it was supposed to be white but there more yellow because there to old.

The services was wonderful, they were very polite, but the property needs maintenance, the air conditioner didn't work, they moved us to another room and in this one, the toilet was broken. Besides the elevator was out of order and we have to climb three floors.

Very well located midway walking distance to main square and Paseo de Montejo. Many good options to eat. Excellent price for the location

Truth be told. On day one, I was late due to a flat-tire. On day two, my flight was late. United put me up in a hotel and gave dinner / lunch vouchers. I was on phone for a long time with Delta & Expedia, explaining the unusual situaion. Helen of Expedia, helped by refunding the full amount. Thank you Helen, for extraordinary customer service.

Located in the center of town, close to many places and very walkable.

Our stay was great in spite of the major construction. We did not hear much noise. The pool was wonderful as was the garden area.

It was a good experience. People were nice. The garden area could use some maintenance improvements. They have a beautiful garden/area abut needs some attention.

Outside pool area is very nice

Lots of construction going on directly in front of the hotel

Hotel is conveniently located, near plaza,
Restaurants and shops. Facility is ok but could use some improvements (i.e. new-working toilets), and bed was not comfortable. I do not recomend it for a long stay.
Parking was located 2 blocks away & I was not told when I called the hotel to inquire about parking. The inconvenience was having to ask an attendant at another hotel to let me in & out of the lot as it was locked for safety.
The grounds are nice & have a lot of potential and is relaxing to sit out in the garden.

That was great location, food at walking distance, nice and quiet, just a little issue, i stay 3 days 2nights and they just forget to clean my room , they never did it. Elevator was not working past weekend (oct 20-22). Crew was nice and polite.

Staff was friendly but property was not as good as I expected. It seemed a bit out dated, I’m a big fan of restoration buildings but this needs some improvement. Also I had trouble with getting hot water for shower on several days .

Nice staff. Very tranquil. Excellent breakfast. The courtyard and pool is very nice and picturesque. Well maintained only slightly worn. Don't flush your TP type of older legit mexican hotel. Worth it to walk right out into the centro shops and restaurants. Walk to Paseo de Montejo. Was perfect for us very comfortable convenient and safe.

Parking is definitely a hassle
And broken toilet cover 😒.

Yes, our stay was pretty nice and reception and staff very friendly and nice. The hotel was very cosy, clean, right in front of plaza Santa Lucía (musical events) and very central. The only thing is the pool was not so inviting (looked cloudy). The receptionist help us to reserved a taxi for the early departure of my husband a one of the children. Great experience overall!

On check out I was charged 250 pesos for a stained sheet. Our plan was to make another reservation in 2 weeks but after the charge for the stain on the sheet we decided to look for accomodations elsewhere.

The hotel is centrally located and convenient to lots of restaurants, tourist shops, etc. Room was very clean. The towels and sheets are newer, White, crisp, etc. But the Room is a bit Stark. My Room over looked the exterior passage way, so for Privacy I kept the curtains closed, which makes the Room like a box. The one table Lamp on the Night stand didn't work, and I didn't feel like calling about it. Fridge and A/C work one of those Room key pads, but the fridge gets Cold quickly. A nice Basic stay, but not luxury.

9:40 pm and me asking for pillowcases and blankets, after 20 minutes and an argument because they didn't believe me they weren't on, they gave them to me and I myself had to make my bed to be able to rest.

Parking 2 blocls away. Elevator not working. Loud music next door to hotel.

The hotel is well situated, at the heart of Merida. But it is just next to a bar, which can get very noisy at night. The hotel does not have a restaurant. The showers are what you can get for the price. We had a small incident, which the manager was slow to respond to. However, by the end, it was solved.

Pro's: Close to Plaza Grande, Palacio de Gobierno & shops/restaurants/tour companies, wifi was reliable, staff was nice & cleaned constantly, Scotiabank terminals right outside
Con's: Room was dimly lit with one light & one lamp, shower pressure & temperature was not reliable, desk was tiny & my back ached after 3 hours, all the floors are tile & sound echoes even 3 floors up, my bathroom had an alhambra shaped window that had gaps between the wall & anyone waiting at the elevator can peek in, key card needed to be activated 2x in 3 days.
This place is fine if you're out all day & just need a place to rest, but not if you're working during the day & hanging out in the room.

Great location. Free parking, small, but cute room, nice, polite staff.

The property was OK; the bed mattress was uncomfortable and appeared old. To be fair, we only stayed there one night. Safe location.
