Loved the unit. Would stay there again

Apartment was very clean and comfortable. It's a very close walk to a small corner grocery store which we frequented and also very close walk to many restaurants, shops, and bus stops for various tours.

The apartment was very warm and welcoming, it could do with a little more kitchen equipment, but apart from that everything was really good. The beds were supper comfortable.

I'm not sure if it just happen to me or not---The host sent me wrong check-in info in advance and I have to wait 1 hour after contacting back up person in order to get the key. Originally info was for a different location which was very frustrating. We asked around about the location and nobody was able to give us helpful information.
Apartment condition is a good fit for family stay, though the apartment is pretty old.
The neighbor upstairs was watching movie in midnight and was too loud. I tried to contact the host about this issue but never got feedback. I have to go upstairs and knock the door to tell them turn down the voice.
The host granted me a late check-out at 1pm. I appreciated that.
I hope the host can be more active when guest sending messages or call. It would be nice if the host can be more detail-orianted. I double checked in email for the location and check-in info but it was still a wrong one.

Great location and really clean. Really quick and helpful responses from the owners when I had questions both pre and during the visit. Excellent tay and would highly recommend the apartment.

Really close to restaurants and shops. Older building, but the apartment was spacious for a family of four and was clean and quiet. We pretty much had everything that we need EXCEPT the bathroom. The bathroom smells soooo bad, we didn’t know where it was coming from. There’s like a dead rat in there. Gone most of the days, did not have time to complain to the owner, but this needs to be addressed.

Excellent location! Very clean, comfortable property!

We stayed at the apartment for 3 nights and found it to be pretty much perfect for a short break in Reykjavik. It was clean, modern, had everything we needed and is right next to the city centre and harbour... fantastic. Only negavites, which are really small, are that the apartment could benefit from having a broom as the floor gets a litle gritty and some instructions for the bins/recycling would be useful. The owner did vommunicate very well before our stay. I hope we left it as tidy as we found it.

The apartment was close to city centre bus stop 1 & 3 where close by had tv, wifi heating full blast 24 hours a day every thing we needed the only down side was the key safe was difficult to open whether it was because it was -11 when we arrived & maybe a bit frozen I do not know but took a little while to get the key out. But overall very happy with the accomodation.

Property is conveniently located in the city centre and its very close to the shops and restaurants. Facilities are basic but is ok. The property is clean, towels and extra beddings and pillows are supplied. The bathroom is a bit small and slightly needs renovating. The owner is very responsive to messages and was able to accomodate our requests, he also gave us some postcards and a book about iceland which we think is really nice. Check in and check out instructions are simple and we had no problems what so ever.
Overall we definately recommend this place.

Apartnent is well cared for the only problem we encountered was the bathroom shower drain wasn’t draining very well and there was a strange sewage smell. We contacted the owner late in the evening and he was out the next day to correct the problem. The bathroom is very small otherwise the apartment was fine. Drawback is parking and having to pay before 6 pm and after 9 am. It is close to restaurants and a Bonus grocery. It is also close to a small airport so there is some noise, but not too bad.

The apartment is in a great location for exploring downtown Reykjavik. We walked to many downtown attractions and restaurants. Access access to the apartment was easy via a key lockbox system. The living room was spacious, the kitchen was well equipped, and the bedroom had a comfortable bed and a roomy storage cabinet. All of these rooms were quite clean. The bathroom was cramped for space and had an old look about it. The wifi was excellent. Although I never met in person anyone associated with the apartment, the correspondence via email was quick and helpful.
In case you're driving a car, the biggest drawback to this apartment was the lack of parking. There is parking on the street outside the apartment, but it is free only from 6pm until 9am the next morning, and by late afternoon the spaces were usually all taken. If you want to leave your car parked there for the entire day, the cost is about 14 USD. Some free parking is available on some nearby streets; however, it's not always clear which spaces on which streets can be used for free, and there did not appear to be many parking spaces available anywhere. The first day we were there, we drove out of town in the morning, and we returned in the afternoon about an hour before parking became free, and thus managed to get a space until the next morning for minimal cost. The second day, we wanted to explore on foot, so we paid the $14 to be able to leave the car nearby all day.

Since we came from the US, we arrived early. I asked in advance if we could check in early, and it was OK. The apartment was very nice, new, and clean. We had a rental car, and there was ample outside parking. This apartment, was located near the old harbor, where a lot of the cruises left from, was a couple blocks away. At least 3 food stores were close as well. Free wifi and cable. What saved the nights, when I just wanted to relax, was Netflix was available. Overall, I would recommend this apartment and would stay here again.

this was a good apartment in a great location with everything you needed. Sjonni (the owner) was really helpful and easily contactable if you needed anything. Felt like home from home - would definitely stay again and recommend to others.

Very clean apartment with good amount of space for family of 4. Great location, with good food, convenient stores all within walking distance.

Easy to locate as it's next to a major hotel. (We had received email with detailed instructions--including pictures--on how to locate the key and wifi access info.) Near the marina but near everything else, too. Easy walk from the Grayline bus station. For the most part, very quiet area (one day there was stone work being done on the roof which was quite loud). Comfortable bed and a full kitchen with all the dishes, etc. The bathroom was a little small, but not any smaller than many European hotels. Sheets and towels were provided. Check-in and check-out were very reasonable, but we had to store luggage at another place (for a stiff fee) for the hours between check-out and trip to Keflavik.

Short walk to lots and lots of pubs and places to

Sjonni was really great helping us get settled with out luggage and the apartment was great for our group of five. On the Main Street but far enough down that it isn't too loud.
