There a used condom wrapper, and a cockroach(!) in the room.

We had a fabulous stay at Sea Containers. Staff were incredibly friendly, hotel and rooms were very clean and well maintained. The beds were very comfortable and the room nice and quiet. The breakfast was excellent, with a variety of choices and so fresh and plentiful. The hotel is beautifully designed and styled as well. Will definitely be booking again!

Great hotel in great location. Staff were friendly and efficient, and offered me a free upgrade because of free space available. I really appreciate that and will come back.

Great Location! Luxury at a budget friendly pricing, spacious, yet quiet. Amazing views. Two years in a row, and planning on coming back next December. I forgot my expensive medicine, the cleaning staff found it, I was able to speak with them via hotels.com and they are mailing it back to me in the US. Now I call that customer service!

What a fab hotel. Never stayed on the South bank before and can honestly say this hotel was in a good location. Very modern and clean. Rooms were very nice. Access right onto the riverside. Close to St Paul’s. Staff friendly. Would stay again.

WOW!! We are regular visitors to London and usually stay at the Hoxton, which used to be our favourite hotel! As an airline pilot I stay in lots of top quality hotels around the world but they are not a patch on Sea Containers!! Everything about this place is incredible. Can’t wait to return, thank you! Staff are so proactively helpful and professional, the room was super comfy, with a great view of the city and it felt just so chilled. ❤️❤️❤️

Stayed with my daughter as close to the National Theatre. Lovely receptionist. We were upgraded to the top floor. No idea what that means as to the room we would have had. Nice room clean spacious and convenient for the theatre. Will definitely come again. Breakfast not included but that was ok as we had plans.

Highly recommend a stay at the Sea Containers! Recommend a city view room, as the views of the southbank were just perfect. The hotel is so well designed, every feature is so well thought out & the beds were so comfortable. Great service too and so worthy of 5* rating.

From check in to check out the positive attitude of the staff made this hotel exceptional amongst London hotels.

Very nice and clean room; however, I was a little disappointed with the supposed VIP benefits from Hotels.com Gold membership: no late check-out and no room upgrade (though an upgrade was offered at a very costly price). This was my second stay, and while there's nothing to complain about the room itself, I would have expected a bit more in terms of services.

A great stay as always. Great food and super staff.

The room was clean and large. They need to have more space to empty your suitcase like a dresser. Wish they had king size beds. Location wasn’t the best in my opinion as a first time visitor to London.

The rooms and location of this hotel are great. I find it so odd though that a hotel that charges £300 a night allows the reception staff to ask for a tips when checking out. I’ve never experienced it in any hotel before. Surely a hotel that charges such high prices for everything can afford to pay their staff better so they don’t have to ask for tips when customers are leaving

Convenient to Blackfriar’s station. Right on the Thames. Easy walk to the London Eye and other attractions, or take the tube!

I had to walk up the stairs as I can not use the lift the staff in the stripe T Shirts where fantastic with me helping me walk up 7 flights of stairs . I did request a lower floor but they didn’t get the message . It was keeping me fit . Absolutely loved the hotel they charged £200 deposit for the family room . I did receive it back .my favourite hotel in London . Now to how I can get to the rooftop . Fantastic.

Great option if you want to stay in Southwark area. The hotel has a great spa that shouldn’t be missed. Rooms have a decor that is a bit too modern for my taste , and mattress was quite uncomfortable. However room service was great , breakfast room has great atmosphere , and room was cleaned promptly every morning

High quality hotel in a perfect location on the Southbank. Easy walk to London West End. Really nice vibe. Would definitely recommend to friends.

The hotel collected payment without notice despite booking with the pay at hotel option. The hotel then double charged at check out and was unable to provide a VAT invoice or refund proof. I now have to manage expenses and double charges with my personal card and corporate business card with zero support from the hotel. Exactly the same issue happened in my previous stay which makes all very suspicious and lacking VAT invoices a poor practice to say the least. Please help getting my invoices for this my last stay. next week booked a nearby hotel for our team's visit to our company's office in London

Great location, had a city view room and it was actually great. The superior room was just lush as well. Most things in walking distance or easy to get to the underground for further travel. We did the stay for supper deal which was great value as well. Be warned they do add service charge for the stay but can be removed if required.

All was good, apart from our paid for upgrade not being provided at Check-in (it was remedied when I went back down to sort it out, so an inconvenience but the fixed it).
Also - this new thing of asking for a service charge at checkout for the whole staff team - sorry, what!!!! For the price you are charging for a room, you can afford to compensate your staff properly without hitting up guests at checkout for extra cash. This alone, will likely mean I reconsider a return.

Staff were excellent in getting us a room earlier than expected to allow us to change before the theatre. They also offered us a complimentary glass of Prosecco as it was my Fiancée’s birthday.

First rate people (more on the hotel side than the events side).
Liked: quality people, delicious food, venue ambience.
Disliked: tip added onto the bill at the end of the stay; no fresh milk in bedrooms (really??!).
