This was the best stay ever! Amazing views, walking distance to everything, EXTREMELY helpful staff at reception, and the best breakfast I’ve ever had at a hotel. If I’m ever lucky enough to come back to Positano, this is where I’ll be staying.

This is a fantastic option to stay in Positano. The view from the terrace was absolutely gorgeous and it’s just 15 minutes away walking from both beaches. The private parking is super convenient. And how friendly and helpful the staff was at the same level as the gorgeous view. Simply delightful.

We had a lovely stay at Florida Residence. Amalia was so helpful and kind and the location was great. Walkable to the beach and main shopping and dining areas in Positano. The apartment was also very large and nice. Would highly recommend.

We were so happy to have booked a stay at the Florida Residence during our time in Positano. The staff was amazing and very accommodating. Free breakfast was a great plus and the location itself was perfect. We felt at home at the Florida residence and made our stay in Positano unforgettable.

Good location with walking to multiple restaurants. Fantastic views to relax and admire Positano. Staff were so friendly and helpful. The rooms are quite noisy and we were unable to get a good night sleep due to hearing people near us and staff at night and early morning. Bed comfort was ok but could definitely be updated for the price you’re paying to stay here.

What a view! Such a fantastic spot in Positano. Up the hill but surrounded by gorgeous restaurants and a view that is breathtaking. The staff are wonderful and made us so very welcome. Its like walking in to a beaufiful families home and feeling welcome. The kind owners found the perfect room for us at a very last moment and made sure it was perfect. They go out of their way to be kind , helpful and welcoming. Wonderful!

Just ridiculous price for a 2 star hotel with a lumpy mattress, unfriendly service from Rafael (friendly service from all others) . Hotel florida has no right to charge euro450 even in peak season. Sorrento or any other place other than P is so much better value for money

Charming hotel with personal attention and lovely staff. Loved the location and views for days. Breakfast on the terrace was delicious. A perfect home base to explore Positano and surrounding areas. I cannot recommend Florida Residence enough. The staff were so kind and the property is located in an ideal area of Positano. All restaurants, shops, and beaches were within walking distance, but the balconies had some of the most incredible views of the coast. The complimentary breakfast each morning was also spectacular.

The customer service here was great, the staff was super friendly. The rooms are a bit outdated but it was cozy inside. Location was near the beaches and lots of shopping/restaurants. The parking situation was also very helpful.. as soon as we got there they took over and our car was safe for the 4 days we were there

Parking in Positano is normally expensive and sometimes impossibly rare - but not at Florida. There was free onsite parking. The staff, Luigi in particular, were extraordinarily nice and ensured we had everything we needed. We booked a sea view room and it had the perfect balcony. The A/C worked great. The bed was not comfortable by American standards but was typical for Europe. The walk up from the sea isn't as bad you'd think (and our latest trip was in July!)

This hotel had a family feel. Very welcoming. We were picked up at the bus stop and driven to our hotel by golf cart. Our luggage carried up the stairs to our room. Very helpful with information about Positano. Nice breakfast on rooftop with view of the Mediterranean Sea. Our room had a patio with sea view. Clean room with updated bathroom. You could walk to the beach and shopping area (probably a mile) or take the local bus. Were taken by golf cart to bus stop on our departure. Beautiful location, quiet. Way to go Florida Residence.

I adored this wonderful hotel. The staff was kind and attentive. The room was lovely and the view of the sea was stupendous. I really don't understand the previous reviews from other guest who were negative about things. It was a charming place to stay and I would gladly recommend it to anyone. The breakfast was also above and beyond what one normally receives in such places. Positano has always been my special place. The Florida Residence made it even more so.

Awesome and affordable place in Positano. The breakfast had it's normal European selection of cheese, bread, and hot foods such as eggs, hard boiled eggs, and sausage. Also, there was a whole selection of fruit juices. coffee, and tea. The room has a remarkable view of the city and the customer service was great. Although it is a 15-20 minute walk to the main center, it saved us a lot of money. Really great for people who are active and can walk uphill and downhill. The room smelt unique, but the whole stay was 10/10. Definitely would recommend to others

We had a great experience at Florida Residence, although I felt if I had spoken Italian it would have been that much better! A/C only worked in one room, which in July, was really hot! Rooms were clean and we were left alone (no room service, linen changing or re-stocking). Paying high season prices, I would have hoped for a little more high-tough service, but all in all, this was a great place to stay. Easy to get to the beach (both) and restaurants just around the corner. We loved our time in Positano!

We had such a wonderful time in Positano, in large part thanks to our stay at Florida Residence. It's an especially great option if you're driving, as they have free onsite parking (which is a rare commodity in Positano). The staff at Florida Residence was so kind and helpful and went above and beyond to make our stay a great one, including greeting us at the entrance and parking our car, providing recommendations for the beach, making us breakfast, and giving a nice tour of the building. Even though it's here on VRBO, we'd compare this to a hotel experience (and a great one at that). The view from our balcony was unbeatable and even better than we expected. The location was perfect --- close proximity to shops and restaurants and a short walk to the city center and beach, yet back far enough from both that it was a little quieter. Make sure you stay here if you are visiting Positano!

Very friendly and accomodating staff staff really made the stay. Lovely terrace off bedroom and garden breakfast, both with breathtaking views of Positano and the sea. There is onsite free parking which was extremely helpful. The location is both the best and worst part- amazing views equal amazing stairs & hills in Positano!

If I were to share what I loved about this hotel, the first on the list would be the family owning it. Being welcomed by a big smile by Aniello and his Grandma, then gradually meeting the rest of the family made us feel at home. The hotel may be a little up the hill but Aniello was so helpful and dropped us to wherever we needed to go in his awesome fun shuttle. Although it is not a modern hotel nor a luxurious one, yet it is clean, and very authentic as it feels like a family home right out of the amalfi region. My recommendation to the owner would be to improve the breakfast for future visitors and preserve their welcoming warm nature.

This hotel is well situated, not too high up and not too low. Good restaurant an easy walk away. (Highly recommend Il Retrovo up in Montepertuso which staff can arrange with shuttle. Don't go to restaurants near beach as they are expensive and not good.) Bus and ferry service here is excellent. Staff were really helpful. Onsite parking (small cars) saves 30 euros a night in external parking fees.

This hotel is great for location, and as a base for any travel throughout the Almafi Coast and it's attractions. Breakfast include is simple and the coffee is excellent. Staff is friendly, speaks English well enough to help and converse. This is not a luxury hotel or one to stay in all day. The rooms are small yet big enough. Shower and plenty of hot water. To sleep and rest up before you go out for the night - it's perfect. I would not recommend for family with small children - nothing to do on-site. Teens and older will be fine. You have your own balcony section to sit out and enjoy the wonderful view of the water and the rest of Positano. We went in the off season so there wasn't a lot of traffic or noise. Can't imagine what the town is like in the Summer but that has nothing to do with the hotel. Go, and enjoy! We'd stay there again.
