Great service, nice spacious clean room. Shower was small but sufficient.

It’s OK If you read instructions sent by the hotel with great attention. 7 minutes of walk to breakfast cafe. 3 minutes of walk to 5Terre train. A lot of cafes and restaurants around. Special thanks to Elettra who answered immediately and solved all the problems . She’s really the best

Close to the city, not so fresh, however, a hazzle to get there by car.

Awesome hotel, attention to detail, great location!

Gorgeous and comfortable rooms with superb decoration and every amenity desired. Large bathroom, efficient air conditioning, great linens. Conveniently located close to the train station, supermarket, restaurants, commercial area. Highly recommended.

It was really nice and the host was incredible!

It was a bit of a challenge to locate the parking but I chalk that up to us being Americans and not the directions. But having reserve parking in a private parking garage was HUGE!! (Especially in the middle of town). We were greeted by the nicest Italian we have yet met here and she provided a lot of helpful information and recommendations for our stay! The room was cold, clean and very comfortable. I was just sad our stay was not longer. Food was close. Boat to Cinque Terre was only a 20 min walk. Will definitely stay here again the next time we are in the area.

It was very near the train station. Perfect location.

Great place for a night to visit Cinque Terre. Very close to train station. Visit Ciao Baby for the best breakfast with great staff.

Near train station, staff was very accommodating. Room was nice and clean.

The staff was great. Its a small 5 room hotel close to the city. Clean rooms. Travelled with the family would recommend

My friend and I stayed here for a night to explore Cinque Terre. The room was clean, comfortable, and so cute. We were able to store our bags there before and after check out to continue exploring. Easy access to the train station. Viola was amazing and so so helpful. We will 100% be back here!

This hotel has only five rooms and the reception staff is only available for limited periods.
They send you the instructions for parking and self check in via text messages, including videos. It went well but it took us some time to figure it all out.
The room was very nice and comfortable. The old town is a ten minute walk away.
5.0
The host was available and very helpful. Parking option for an additional cost was well worth it and within a short walking distance. Cute little place with character - had everything that was needed for a comfortable stay.

Nice place close to the center and the railstation. Room was small but nicely decorated with good badroom

The hotel itself is very nice. Room was a good size and had a quirky feel to it. Close to the train station too which was perfect for us visiting Cinque Terre.
However, the check-in experience was atrocious. We knew we'd be arriving late (around 22:30) and had advised the hotel this in advance. Received a message a few days before arrival advising we'd be sent instructions for check-in - these never came. Chased up on the day of arrival, and the only messages I received were to say how the room key works (same as every other hotel). We get to the hotel and the main entrance is closed/locked. Tried calling the numbers the sign on the outside wall says, no answer. If it wasn't for a resident who lives above the hotel getting home and opening the front door with her key, we'd have been outside all night (the front door has a code but we'd not been advised of it by this stage).
Whether the lack of message was an issue with the hotel, or the hotels.com messaging service, I'm not sure.
Also, when the staff weren't in reception (only there from 9:00-12:00 and 15:30-18:00 every day), we notice the laptop in reception was left on. Whilst only people staying in the hotel would have access to this, it's not particularly secure, as anybody could hop on the laptop and potentially access other guests personal information etc.
Very nice hotel, but a couple of major issues hugely let it down.

Hostesses know the area well; gave good recommendations for sightseeing, restaurants and- in general, were more gracious than we expected.

We had a little difficulty in finding the property on foot. I wish there had been a little hand drawn map on the website, it would be so easy, Google maps makes it hard. She sends a video which is great, but you're so trying to pay attention to codes, you fail to see/hear other pertinent info.. like it's in the first floor. The place was DARK and I guess we never tripped the lights to come on and had to use flashlights on our phones to find the door. All this could have been so much easier with very well thought out instructions written as well as the video. I had to re-watch the video for the code to get in, as the info brochure wasn't in the room at check in, but she made the room available early so we could stow our luggage, so she very accommodating!! It's a GREAT room with a GREAT location and a GREAT balcony. We thoroughly enjoyed it once we figured out how to heat the room during this cold snap! We would stay here again, it's so cute and inviting! Great caretaker!! Easy to work with!!

The hotel was within 10 minutes walk to the La Spezia station and a few minutes walk to the Main Street with many restaurants which was very convenient.
The staff was so helpful and friendly. They gave us clear instructions how to get to the hotel and many recommendations on how we can travel to the Cinque Terre.
The room was spacious and clean. The bed, the shower, everything is so comfy and made us felt like home. I personally think the actual room looked even nicer than the photo we saw online.
Considering the price, we chose to stay in La Spezia instead of Cinque Terre. We all agreed we made the right choice and would definitely recommend this place to our friends .

Very difficult to navigate 1 way back streets to get to hotel.
On arrival however, very lovely greeting
Room was clean and neat but our big disappointment was that it smelled very moldy/mildewy.
Biggest plus was location which was perfect - literally around the corner from the train station which took us to Cinque Terre

This property has been updated inside and is gorgeous. Each private room has everything you need and the mattresses were the most comfortable we had in Italy. The owners are very nice and willing to help with an early check-in and luggage storage. Definitely would come back.

good location, walking distance to train station and city center, small rooms

It is very quite and close to the main part of La Spezia. Everything is within walking distance.

Because it’s a apartment style (which we didn’t know until we were there) you are basically sharing the building with other people that actually live there and if anything happened (noise and etc), the hotel can’t really do anything. There are locks everywhere, it made you feel safe but it’s so unnecessary and really annoying when you have stuffs.

Staff were not so helpful but rooms are nice and clean

Very good, but weak breakfast

I felt safe at the property. We had adjoining rooms with family and not only could you lock the door to your room but you could lock a second door that went out to the reception area. I did not like the fact that you could not reach anyone after hours. Both phone numbers did not work. We even had local people try to contact property with out success. Do not book this property on short notice.

The property was very nice. Checking in confusing and we almost did not get into our room at all because no one available to answer phone or help us get inside. 3 hours later, finally inside because other travelers/residents let us inside the building. Very frustrating and a little scary. However, after getting inside, the place was very nice and beautiful. We did book the same day we wanted to stay, which the hotel asks to allow 3 days for confirmation, so I'm sure that was part of the problem. I believe that if you booked early and did make contact before coming to the hotel, things would go better for anyone else. We booked late because Venice was flooded and we had to change trip plans at last minute. It was disappointing though because even Italians that lived/worked int the neighborhood could not get through to the hotel with their phones which the phone numbers provided. Expedia did not get through either. But it did work out after all, thankfully. .

Parking very difficult. Great value for the money, however! Erica wonderful.

Nice room, great location near train station, friendly staff, easy parking, normal breakfeast.

Wonderful staff and beautiful room. I loved the dry sauna
2.5
The property was excellent; 5 minutes from train station. Clean and helpful service. Only drawback was that we were not able to check in until 3 because there was no reception until 3. 5 minutes walk to train but probably 25 plus minutes to ferry dock. Laundromat nearby. Highly recommend
2.5
The location was excellent; it was a few minutes' walk to several restaurants and the train station. It was really easy to go to Cinque Terre. (The boats to get there were within a 20-minute walk.) Thr receptionist, Erica, was superb. She was friendly and helpful throughout our stay.
2.0
Clean convenient property. Check in was fine and host very helpful.
2.5
Excellent service and location - 3-4min walk to La Spezia with trains to Cinque Terra taking only 7mins.
We were driving and needed somewhere to leave the car - the apartment location is excellent with secured car parking next door for €20 per day which is reasonable.
The communication was excellent and the hosts sent across all passcodes in advance.
The rooms are large, very modern and very clean. Highly recommend.
2.5
Very well appointed, comfortable, sauna in room a bonus, manager excellent warm, friendly and exceedingly helpful! Close to everything!
