Wonderful stay, above Amafli. The room is absolutely lovely with a dream view from the terrace, and nice bathroom. Warm welcome by a very kind team, delicious breakfeast inside or outside watching the sea. Easy to go by bus from Amalfi. A small shop next to the b and b allows to buy sandwiches from local ham and cheese, or anything you need. Definitely recommand this place.
Thank you very much for this experience.

Carmella, Gianni and the other Gentleman who are part of the Hotel are welcoming and inviting. We certainly will be back to stay at L’Antico Borgo dei Limoni again.

We stayed here for three nights. The room and bathroom were clean. The views from the terrace were spectacular. The receptionist, Alessio, was very helpful and gave us good advice about where to go and where to eat. The guesthouse was quite conveniently situated for touring the area.

The view here is stunning. It can be difficult to get here, so ensure you have read the bus routes correctly or contact the property beforehand! Air conditioning is amazing in summer.

The property was beautiful with flowers and the view was amazing.
Alessio was a perfect host.
He showed us all the bus and boat routes.
He bakes, cooks, and is an all around really nice guy.
Wonderful stay for 4 days!

This hotel is situated high up on the mountain side overlooking the Mediterranean, a stunning location! However, if you arrive from Sorrento/Positano by SITA bus (which is the main way of public travel along the coast), then beware getting off too early as the walk up to the hotel is a vertical climb of around 30-35 flights of stairs. You can stay on the bus a bit longer and catch a connecting local bus going up the mountain side, which stops around 400 meters from the hotel. (Google suggests the former option but if you have mobility restrictions or heavy luggage, this would be very challenging)
We stayed in the suite in this hotel, which had a sweeping view over the Mediterranean and a private balcony with sun loungers and table and chairs. The welcome and service was excellent with a good amount of information provided, although the WiFi password was only communicated verbally (which we didn't get quite right so had to wait til the next day to ask again. A little written info on this would have been great!)
It was very clean and the bed was a super-king, which was a treat. There was a minibar/fridge in the room too.
Breakfast was good with fresh croissant, cakes, coffee, juices and fruit. There was also bread, jams and some cheese and meat. Overall, I would give it a 6/10 for breakfast, as I prefer a lower carb breakfast but it was still very enjoyable.
We would be very happy to stay here again!

I would recommend this as a place to stay if you want to be close to amalfi beach but not quite in the middle. The view we had was incredible, the breakfast was okay, the one main thing that was a problem for us was in the bathroom, it basically flooded everytime we had a shower and we had mop it up with towels which wasn't fun! But I heard that other rooms aren't like that. So I'd recommend for the view, and also they offer a place where you can keep your car because there isn't many places to park and you can just use the bus which was handy for us!

The view is UNREAL! The croissants in the breakfast are so fresh. It is a continental breakfast so fairly basic, but good. Freshly squeezed lemonade every morning. The hosts helped up book a couple of tours so we knew which were worth our time & money. Quaint and beautiful little spot. Not a good place if you have mobility issues though as there are a fair bit of stairs and it is located on a fairly steep road. A bus is required to make it down to the main town square of Amalfi but tickets are reasonably priced and easy to find. The hosts of this hotel gave us our first bus ticket so we could make it into town and buy more and they explained the bus route to us. (although the buses didnt necessarily stick to the expected times)

This B&B was a 6 room house. Quant place but a bit out of the way, far from town, not much around.no restaurants or other conveniences around. Owner was not very friendly either. Also told us he would give us a ride to town day we left but charged us 14 euros for a five min drive.

Very disappointed with stay and experience and surprised ratings are so high. Called hotel ahead of time for directions as it's outside of Amalfi. They told us to take bus and then it's a 10 min walk. What they didn't mention was the 800 stairs which is a pretty intense work out if you have luggage. They did not offer shuttle pick up as mentioned in description, only after we arrived. Once we arrived we stayed in a very dark room with no windows, we had to leave the door open for fresh air which attracted bugs at night. The bathroom floods when you take a shower. The pictures are not of the basic room, beware the basic room is nothing like the other rooms. Breakfast is continental, expect pastries. Owners did help us with directions once we arrived but far too late at that point.
We have stayed at many b&bs on our 3 week vacation, this was our worst eperienece, would not recommend unless you only have a backpack and upgraded room.

Great option with amazing views. It is a family business so it feels like your visiting someone's home :). The staff was super friendly and helpful. Don't bring a lot of luggage ... there are a lot of stairs to climb. They offer parking for extra fee.

Suite was ok, location not. On the booking site it said that there is a seasonal pool available but when we asked for it there was non. Wifi connection was a joke and there is a church next to the hotel which kept making noise all trough the night. Breakfast is not the healthiest but I guess Italians love to shove their faces with sugar in the morning. Dont pay for the parking they offer you can leave your car on the side of the road. Its ridi q

We stayed our first night along the Amalfi coast with this B & B. We got there early, before check in hours. Our host family welcomed us and made our room available after sharing some homemade lemonade. Our room was nicely upfitted, the bed comfortable, and the bathroom was nicely done as well. The shower was not enclosed, however, and this made the floor wet beyond the shower curtain. We did not have wifi, but our room had a computer with an internet connection. Outside the entry door to our room we had a sitting area overlooking the waterfront. We had no problem finding parking on the street below the B & B. Breakfast was great with yogurt, cereal, pastries, juices, tea, and American coffee. Two of the pastry items contained figs, and were absolutely delicious. Our hosts were extremely friendly and eager to please. All in all, we enjoyed our stay at LAntico.

Away from the busy tourist towns and a easy bus ride out of Amalfi. Lovely views over the bay. Walking up the mountains is a great way to see some wonderful scenery. Parking very challenging and public parking is expensive. Buses are very cheap and drivers very good. Ravello is well worth a visit with a lovely garden up in the mountains.

Only stay here if you have been to the Amalfi Coast before. As this is a b&b, do not expect staff to be attentive 24/7. We were told the last call for hotel shuttle bus was midnight, we called around 11.30pm multiple times but they did not pick up. As taxis would cost 30 euros to get back and there were no more buses...we ended up walking back which took us 40 minutes. The roads in Amalfi are quite dangerous. Always walk on the side with the walls.
The room itself is clean but it must be cleaned every day as one morning we were not aware you had to leave room before 11am to have it cleaned. We found a few ants crawling and many tiny bugs crawling around on the floor. The shower is also tiny so make sure you are skinny enough to fit in it!
It is about a 5 min walk to the bus stop if you want to pass the tobacco shop to buy your tickets. If you already have tickets, there is a bus stop by the Vettica church and near the mini market which is so much closer to the B&B. Overall a good stay, we just wish we discovered the second bus stop earlier! If it wasn't for the local we spoke to, we wouldn't have known! Stay here if you are OK with being 10 minutes away from Amalfi town!
