Very bad attitude from the owner

Close to the center of amalfi and no stairs

on the day of the check out we were literally kicked out, I think it's not fair, with the cleaning lady waiting behind the door since 10 in the morning, the owner telling me on the phone that we had to leave because he couldn't give us 10 more minutes . This thing really bothered me, I will never go back again

Excellent host who was very helpful

Quiet centrally located. Well equipped and clean apartment. The owner was very helpful and informative. He suggested a few places to visit, which turned out very nice.

Pobyt w tym apartamencie sprawił, że pobyt był znakomity.

Obiekt zgodny z opisem bardzo zadbany czysty wyposażony bardzo dobrze. Bardzo praktyczne wyposażony piękna sypialnia , wygodny balkon gdzie można spędzić miło czas ale najważniejsze bardzo czysty apartament.

Nie mam żadnych uwag.

Tout était parfait.

Appartement très propre, spacieux et bien placé a 500m de la cathédrale à Amalfi. Bien équipé, une machine a laver a disposition, fer a repasser, lit parapluie pour bebe. Le propriétaire Salvatore très sympa nous a aidé pour le transfert à l’hotel et l’aéroport.

Excellent, very clean and well maintained apartment.

Beautifully appointed apartment, large bedroom, plenty of room to store two suitcases in large work in wardrobe. Very clean and well maintained apartment. Very quiet location. Good sized kitchen and living area and balcony. Great to have a washing machine and somewhere to hang one’s clothes. The apartment is 500 meters from main piazza opposite cathedral. One has to walk up the Main Street which is quite a steep incline especially wheeling a suitcase up a pebble stone road. Excellent restaurant and coffee shop about 100 meters down from apartment. Highly recommend Amalfia Apartments.

Best alternative to a hotel and perfect location

Loved that the property wasn’t too far up so it wasn’t too hard to access from the main square. I also loved how secure it is and well made and maintained. I liked that it had the same or similar amenities to a hotel (a safe, extra towels, big space for luggage). Also Salvatore is a great and accommodating host and even helped us arrange an affordable taxi to the airport.

Something that isn’t essential but might be nice is a smart TV loaded perhaps with Netflix etc. also the checkout could be slightly later. 10am is a bit too early especially as the airport is quite far away so most people would be getting an afternoon or evening flight anyway

Italian charm?

Clean and new

Host was very ‘rushed’. Parking that was recomended tried to ask for more money. Location was hard to reach by car because of all the people walking. You had to go through the hart of the center. We called the host. He sounded very bothered. When we arrived he hardly explained anything asked directly for 12 euros tax and that we shouldnt move our car from the parking anymore because there will not be any space anymore. After receiving the tax he said: you will not see me anymore :-D This is maybe the ‘Italian charm’? LOL. Keep in mind if you have luggage you will have to park in front of the building and go up the stairs (no elevator) if you park first then you have to travel with all you luggage up the hill. Keep this in mind. If you book ahead you can find similar accommodation for a much lower price. The price also changed during the morning I was booking aswell.

Loved Amalfi! The apartment was great! Make sure you hire a porter to get your bags up the hill

The apartment was spacious and clean! Having cooking facilities was a great help when you are staying longer than a couple of nights!

It was a little bit of a walk but up the hill make sure you book a porter to bring your bags up

A wonderful stay in magical Amalfi

The apartment has every thing we needed . It was comfortable. The air-conditioning worked fantastically. It was nice that it was out of the crowds. It was clean and the kitchen was modern. Loved the little balcony with its flowerbox.

Sometimes it was hard to walk up the hill and then up the stairs. One night someone on floor above was hammering and banging till 10 pm. Sometimes the front door to the building was open when we got to the apartment.

Very good

Amalfia apartments was along the central street in Amalfi but a bit further in making it very convenient to get to everything while still being relatively quiet at night. The room was very clean and doing laundry was easy (although detergent was not provided) with a clothes line and pins outside to dry.

The apartment was very well decorated and tidy. It had pretty much everything we needed. The AC also worked great!

A few more towels and bar mops would have been nice. Also the location is a bit of a trek through amalfi which really only has one main street. It’s in a quiet area which is nice, but it’s a little far from the beach.

apartment was great, had a fabulous stay and would recommend. short walk to the bus and ferry terminal, so you can explo

bright and very clean, had everything we needed. the location was great, a short walk up the Main Street. bed was very comfortable. a lovely bottle of wine was waiting for us when we arrived. had some local Mozzarella cheese from the shop below the apartment, it was the best we’ve ever tasted.

electric went a couple of times and triggered some alarms in the morning. it was the area of Amalfi not just the apartment. there was a few nights when a resident was ringing the bell around midnight.

Lovely place in a quiet area in Amalfi

Our taxi driver called the contactperson and we sent him a Whatsapp message when we were 20min out. He was waiting for us in the street. Place was big enough for 4 people, there was a double bed and a double sofa bed. Airco in the bedroom and living room, spacious bathroom, kitchen with everything you might need to cook etc. Very good!

Great location, just above the busy centre of Amalfi, far enough away from the hustle, bustle and noise, yet only a couple of minutes walk to the nearest ships and cafes. Comfortable, clean accomodation.
