Pretty small room but was sufficient for my need. It had the basic necessities but could’ve had a dental kit or so. The main draw though was the rooftop bar

Nice and comfortable, in a familiar way.
Great communication, inviting me for drinks, movie nights etc. Fantastic avocado toast for breakfast and a bartender who knew how to make a coctail.

Everyone very friendly and helpful.

The Arlo chain is my go-to when I am staying in New York, and this was my best experience yet.
Upon check in we received a voucher for free breakfast at Linden’s and it was probably the best meal we had during the trip.
The rooms are small, but clean and well arranged. The beds are very comfortable, and the pillows and bedding are also great. The shower had great water pressure and the towels were so soft and fluffy.
The service was exceptional. From the free breakfast to arranging a car for us to get to the airport, it was just a fantastic stay. Highly recommend!

The hotel is very cute, it's fairly close to good restaurants and shopping, it's clean, and the staff are amazing. The front desk staff were honestly the highlight of the stay. The only bummer was that they emailed us ahead of time offering early check in for a fee, which we took them up on right away. Unfortunately, upon arrival, we were told that we couldn't check in early and to come back when regular check in starts, at 3pm. When we returned at 3pm, the room still wasn't ready and we had to wait another 30 min. Other than this hiccup, the hotel was nice and we would come back.

The 20% off one time food and bev promotion is misleading and cannot be used in the restaurant. Overall the hotel is great in a decent location.

airconditioner was so loud and clicked on and off all night. No complimentary coffee in lobby. Someone lit a bush on fire on the roof and all elevators deactivated with no communication. Traffic flow outside is very confusing due to Holland Tunnel and 2 Ubers cancelled me because they couldn't get to me.

Pretty good value for money in nyc. Good location. Rooms are aging and not particularly well maintained/cleaned (for example, we had a used nespresso pod in our room; there were visible scratches on furniture).

Beautiful comfy suite. Convenient fridge and microwave in the suite.

The Arlo is in a really convenient location near Soho that feels very safe. The staff were super friendly. But for a couple in their 40s (or older), this isn’t your hotel. The room was super small, and the bed (although comfortable) was pushed up against the window. The whole vibe is very dorm-room-esque. Towels were scratchy. But the worst thing that happened was the very loud, very drunk people in the room next to us, around 3 am one of them locked themselves out of the room and banged incessantly at the door. Security was called and the situation eventually resolved but it was awful and when I went to the desk to discuss it the next morning, the best they could do was a free coffee. The point is is that if you’re looking for an elevated NYC wknd, this isn’t your hotel. If you are young and ready to party, it’s your vibe.

Rooms tooooooooooooooo small

Super small rooms. Won't be staying here again for this reason. Good location and great service. If you're ok with a super small room and a weird bathroom situation, it'll be a great place to stay!

Great hotel in an excellent location. Staff were super friendly and helpful. King room very small, but overall great stay.

Fabulous spot, great atmosphere and lovely restaurants. The only thing that would have been better is coffee in the bedroom (or at least free coffee in the lobby).
2.5
The hotel was great. The location is fantastic and the rooftop and bar a nice spot. The people in the lobby are phenomenal. Thanks for your kindness and service.

First time at the Arlo and the whole team was so welcoming and friendly! In a busy city during a super busy week, you almost expect service quality to go down but not here. They were positive and ready to answer any question. Loved the eco touches in the room and the rooftop was a great spot for meetings.

Misleading photos and too expensive for what you get.

It’s a fair hotel for a short stay, don’t expect high attention to details. Reception team is nice and responsive. In term of accommodation it need a bit of work, paint isn’t well finished, broken details in rooms. The room cleaning is okay but again lack of details, we had a bottle of water fully covered of shampoo… and speaking of shampoo the dispenser in the shower was broken. The location is perfect, you have so many nice places by walk.

The hotel was pretty noisy. We could hear everybody from the hallway and from the streets. But overall a good stay with a comfortable bed and cozy little room.

Loved that there was a cool bar and rooftop and restaurant. Nice being close to the West Village. Wish there was a closer diner or store. Had to walk quite a few blocks for shopping. Nice baker one block down.

I loved everything about the property, the restaurant was just very expensive. There were very limited portions for a high price. I did not even get bread with my pasta dinner.

Amazing close to everything I needed and in a great neighbourhood

I really like this hotel and especially the rooftop. The staff is super welcoming, and they always greet with a smile. The rooms are tiny!!! We had a room with a terrace and it was still very tough to get around with suitcases on the floor. The space on the terrace definitely made up for the small room. My friend stayed in a regular room and it was like a closet. If you can get past these tiny rooms, the hotel is a vibe. There’s a little bodega on the bottom floor and on the rooftop they have such good drinks! The area is Soho so it’s a lot of shopping and restaurants. It’s very quiet at night so if that’s your thing you will like the area! The subway is a quick walk away, which will take you where you need to go (canal station). I would stay here again!

I didn't like that my room was only serviced once even when I wasn't using the do not disturb sign.

Great stay. Arlo will always be a 10/10 for me.

I liked the vibe of this hotel, and wish I could have stayed for a longer duration. LTD pizza next door was a really convenient dinner option.

Can’t adjust the AC to stay on. It goes on and off all night. And it’s very noisy.

Don’t be put off if there is a long queue in reception as tats the only place there is a limited space
We were welcomed with a modern New York style and that continued in the restaurant for breakfast with the cleaners the roof top terrace staff etc etc
Great modern feel nothing is too much trouble 5 minute walk from a subway and a stones throw for the magnificent Hudson
Would highly recommend your stay , we had an accessible balcony which we paid more for but again can’t comment on other rooms but ours was great

The room was tiny but functional, the beds and linens very nice and comfortable and a terrific shower. Nice espresso bar in the lobby and the location of the hotel is great. The highlight of our stay was the staff, everyone was friendly and helpful, it all stared with Dennis who helped us with our luggage and car when we arrived. Outstanding all around

This property is in a perfect spot for shopping great brands, excellent dining in the area, and the dubway is 2 minute walk away. You can zip around the city and back with ease.
Sleeping is cozy and you hear no outside noise. We will stay here again!

The rooftop patio and bar are amazing! Staff was helpful and inviting. The elevators are too slow--especially on opening the door. Stair access was hidden and difficult to find.

Very lovely hotel

Sheets has stains and hair from someone else. Other than that the room was OK but very small.

Hotel itself is extremely beautiful but the staff? Very hit and miss. They're either super friendly, helpful and cheeerful or the COMPLETE opposite - we tended to get the later.
We never got anything they said we would - water, new towels. Although our mini fridge did have a half drunk can of booze inside. Our bathroom broke our second day and it took AGES to get fixed. There were these massive linen carts parked right in front of the elevators on our floor that made the entry and exit very tight - they're also locked so we couldn't even grab extra towels while we waited for new ones (that never came).
Would we stay here again? No.

Rooms are closets are closets and not really rooms. Took shower and couldn’t even breathe, couldn’t sleep because air was so dry. Not a great stay.
