After an initial tough check-in proces where the present receptionist did no show any empathy (yes, my room wasn't ready, I had to wait for nearly 3 hours, and it was obvious he didn't care), I came back hours later and the check-in went flawless (thank you Evelyn). The room is a suite but has not the allure of a suite. Living room is a square without windows, and feels more like a prison. The bathroom is basic, and the bedroom was good but not that big. At least it had a window. Bed itself was good, but overall there was nothing presidential about the suite. The hotel part itself was modern, well maintained, clean and had a pleasant atmosphere. The pool was great, and it even had a bar in the afternoons and 2 huge TV screens. What a great hang-out. Finally, breakfast: that came with a Latin twist, which was very nice for a change. The staff was professional and some were even friendly (very unusual for South Florida as I have experienced): good job Nicholas. The hotel is in a business area, not too far from the International Mall and the Dolphin Mall. Both malls are not incredibly special and had their heyday in the past. There is not so much else to do there, so having a car is recommended. Btw: the valley parking service is very well organized and is excellent. So overall: a nice hotel if you need to be specifically in that area of town. If you do not have to be there, then check other options too. The stand-outs of this hotel are the pool and the valley parking.

I've always enjoyed staying at Nuvo. But my last experience was bitter. I did not receive any housekeeping for my week stay. Lastly I didn't receive my deposit back after my stay nor an explanation on why I haven't received it

Would have been a perfect stay Requested late check out was told they don’t do it… even if I paid for it. Had to wait for my ride from 11:15am until 2:40pm dotting in the lobby.

Good location not far from airport. Pretty good gym setup with necessary basics. Generous room size and setup with all appliances. Room AC works very well (I feel this is important to note in Miami) Bed, bedding and pillows were not very good quality nor comfortable.

Worst hotel experience ever. Listed as free breakfast. I found today that I was charged each day. Valet service is required to park at property. Valet service damaged my vehicle. It took 4 people to even get them to admit they caused the damage (others stated I must have dropped it off damaged). Will be billing them for damage to vehicle and reporting breakfast charges as fraud. DO NOT STAY HERE.

Excellent facilities and room amenities for the price. Very clean and the staff was friendly. The only upset (for us) was the breakfast started at 7am, we stayed for a golf tournament and we needed to be at the course by 6:45am.

Pleasant Staff, very clean and spacious room, with cleaning everyday. Valet service was a bit inconvenient as you had to wait on other hotel guests to off load their vehicle before you can be attended to. Wait times were sometimes a bit long upon returning to the hotel with your car. There was no assistance to carry your bags to your room. Also, the gym can do with an update as some equipment was broken. Breakfast was lackluster, with basically the same options everyday.

I didn’t have much of a view but the space of the room was nice it smelled new and fresh not like vintage hotels of south beach. This hotel had a new feeling and just less than 20mins from airport they were very courtesy during my late arrival and throughout my short 1night stay. Plus they had snacks for sale and a nice relaxing pool area but get there early if you want to dine otherwise it’s only drinks by pool. So I had to just cross the Front Door and there was a restaurant. Very convenient and nice place. And parking was free on-site valet I still tip them upon departure of course. I will certainly be back and hopefully spend longer. Front Desk was kind caring and sweet too. 5stars.

I loved everything about this property! You couldn't ask for a better location, with walkable access to Dolphin Mall and Miami International Mall, Burlington Coat Factory etc. The service and customer care was fantastic, the breakfast was quite good with many opinions and they offered free valet parking. This will be my first choice from now on whenever in Miami.
