Did the job but won’t be returning. For example: 1) Electric shower with poor pressure and either boiling hot or lukewarm. 2) Basic bed with thin mattress. 3) No desk. 4) Music blaring from the pub bar until 10:30pm.

Really enjoyed my stay here, very friendly, convenient location and great very well equipped room plus lovely pub food, highly recommended

Great place this and so handy being close to the motorway so I will definitely use it again.
The team are friendly and the breakfast very good. The rooms are warm, comfy, well equipped and clean.
I didn’t get chance to eat as I arrived late.

Definitely staying again

Very comfortable accommodation and good breakfast. The only constructive comment I’d make is the bathroom was modern & spacious yet had a tiny wash basin & mirror with no shaving light.

Ideal location just off the M1 for our Midlands base to visit family & friends. Rooms were clean & fresh, Excellent breakfast.

Lovely old pub with excellent staff and facilities. We were leaving early, so they made a pack-up breakfast for us to take. Absolutely great.

One night business trip in August 22. Very warm friendly welcome at the bar, checked in and shown to the room, which is in an adjoining building behind the main pub. Room was large, as was the bathroom, and both were clean. The bathroom was a little tired and could do with updating but it was all in working order.
Went to the bar for evening meal and got another warm friendly welcome, food and drinks were well priced and food was very good.
Bed was comfortable, but no air conditioning or fan on a very warm night meant it was not the best nights sleep.
Breakfast was a included and was ok, although nothing special and the service for this was pretty poor. Had to go and ask the waitress if I could order the food, was not given the choices that other people were offered, and generally she seemed uninterested in looking after the customers, very different from the other staff the night before.
Overall a nice place and I will almost certainly stay there again.

The main reason to stay here is for the food and the service. The staff are welcoming and always happy to help

Had a very comfortable stay.
Staff were lovely.
Easy and quick to get to from the M1, but quiet. Lots of free parking.

Nice pub in the centre of a lovely village. check in and out quick and easy, plenty of parking onsite. There is a small co-op store opposite. Stayed in room 12 above the entrance to the pub which had the advantage of excellent wifi connection. Room was large and comfortable. It did seem to have a fly issue on arrival but once these were dealt with, no further problem. Evening meal was good and breakfast was excellent. All staff very friendly. Would definitely stay again if working in the area.

Comfortable room, excellent evening food. Central cillage location with parking.
Could ditch the instant coffee for breakfast...

A nice village pub/inn with a good atmosphere, food and clean comfortable rooms. A much better place to stay than some soulless chain hotel. Will definitely stay there again.

The rooms and beds are fine for a pub / restaurant with rooms.
There is some noise from the pub until 11.15 pm as would be expected.
The restaurant is of a higher quality than expected at most pubs. The price reflects this, but the food and staff are the main attraction.

Pub was a little noisy but not bad. We both stubbed our toes on the step into the bathroom. Staff were lovely

Clean, comfy, quiet room (even though it looked out onto the "main" road). Superb breakfast.

New room designs and bathrooms are excellent ! Generously sized - would be nice to add one or two compact lounge chairs and small table. Currently the only place to sit is a desk chair located right under the wall mounted TV.

I stayed not far away last year in a large hotel and found the Wheatsheaf when looking for good food and found it was a hotel, so glad I did, I will use this hotel again when in the area - great breakfast

Ideally situated accommodation a maximum of 5 minutes from the M1 motorway. Friendly, helpful staff and thoroughly enjoyed an evening meal in the pub restaurant, breakfast was a nice one as well

Stayed recently for work. Check in was easy. Room is a very decent size but I found empty plastic bottles so not sure how clean it was. The bathroom wasn't clean as there was hair everywhere. There's tea and coffee and a good size tv. Comfy bed but it's quite noisy, both the sounds from the road and music downstairs. Breakfast was ok.

Nice, well equipped room in a convenient spot just off the M1. However, room was directly above main pub, which was playing loud amplified live music until midnight. This made getting our two young kids to sleep almost impossible. I never want to hear Tiny Dancer again in my life. Avoid!

We were in Crick for a family get together and as time has meant there are now too many bodies for available beds we stayed in the Wheatsheaf as we can walk to the house.
Checked in early and they upgraded our room to an en-suite which really helped. Room had tea/ coffee with enough for more than one each which is a surprise these days plus bottled water and bix.
Didn't see staff in the night but in the morning they were really helpful. Had a lovely breakfast which we both struggled to finish as there was so much.
Overall a great stay and will use next time Grandma calls the clan together

lovely room, very quiet hotel not far from M1. We didnt eat here buit there were a lot of people in the restaurant. Its a lovely little village as well. Breakfast was great - freshly cooked for us and nothing was too much trouble.
Would really recommend them
