The Castle Hotel was easy to find and check was fine. Had dinner in the bar area and the food was really great. The room was large and had all that was required for an overnight stay.
However, in the morning I found that there was not hot water. Very disappointing…

It was a lovely stay , and the room was cosy with great service and brilliant staff.
The Castle Hotel is the perfect village location but close to local Amenities and short distance from major route link's.
All the room's are upstairs, Clean, tidy and very modern victorian in design.
We loved it and the included breakfast too

Lovely setting, hotel and staff. My only grope would be the road noise.

Ideally located for those looking to visit Brands Hatch. Located only about 15 mins from South London which makes travel very easy. Friendly and accommodating staff, highly recommend. Room was warm and the stock of hot drinks was excellent.

This hotel is a real gem. A really bespoke feeling with excellent customer service and a homely feel. I booked the small room which was perfect for my needs as a solo traveller and I loved the fireplace in the bathroom!
Breakfast was lovely and the bar/restaurant is a fine example of an English pub. The chef was also able to handle my difficult dietaries.
Highly recommend this place, also in a really beautiful location and an easy trip from London for a weekend in the country. Thank you.

Lovely hotel with excellent food and friendly staff. Overall the room we had (3) was fine, but the bathroom a little small and a bit tight for the loo. Excellent tea and coffee making facilities.

Here’s what we were disappointed with; The check-in service was unprofessional and not friendly at all. A simple greeting “how was your journey” is basic etiquette for a hotel, but this was not given by the staff.
The bed and pillows were most uncomfortable. The heating in the bedroom was set too high, and even with our window open we hardly slept. The Castle Hotel should be renamed The Castle Pub Hotel. Very noisy till early hours of the morning from other guests. The breakfast was very disappointing: my scrambled eggs took 30 minutes-why? The toast was cold and soggy, 1slice was burnt.
We will never return nor recommend to stay at The Castle Hotel again.

comfortable room - bath robes a nice touch. good food, Altogether a very pleasant stay. Only slight drawback was speed of food delivery, but like other hotels we stayed in recently the hotel is obviously struggling for a full staff complement. Would definitely stay again.

My first visit back after not travelling throughout the pandemic and my stay was as enjoyable as it always has been. The food is great, especially breakfast and the rooms are fab! The only thing missing was the little bus shaped tin of toffees that used to be in the rooms (a sucker for a sweet after dinner)!

The room was so small hanging space for clothing was ridiculous no place to store cases, my husband hit his head on the TV while he was going to the bath room, too many cushions on the bed the only place to put them while you got into bed was the floor then that took up very needed floor space not worth the money for a one night stay.....

Enjoyed my stay but had difficult time in getting to Orpington and back to visit family as public transport difficult and few and far between.Did not realize it was so remote if you didn't have a car.

Stayed for one night whilst doing a course . Friendly host, lovely evening meal and wonderful full English !

Stayed here previously and recommend the place. This visit was only marred by the softness of the bed we prefer a more firm mattress.
