The staff was friendly, accomodating and answered all our questions about the stay the good places to eat and visit. Our room was huge and have a great view of the Old Quebec City. Definitely coming back by summer next year.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The hotel was just as described in Hotels.com site. We had the family suite with the interior balcony and our family of 5 had plenty of room to relax. The room and hotel were spotless. The best part of the hotel, was that it was within walking distance of everything we wanted to see in the Old town, plus shops and restaurants.

Hôtel was very nice. We stayed in a family suite looking out to the atrium which was beautiful with a pool and hot tub. However, the noise from the atrium echoed extremely loudly. It wasn’t the children playing in the pool that bothered us but rather the party goers that hooted and hollered until 4am. I contacted the front desk at 1230am to ask if the noise from the bar area could settle down because there were families trying to sleep. The girl at the front desk basically said it’s a Christmas party and will be done at 1am. No care for anyone who may needed sleep. Housekeeping dropped toilet paper and Kleenex, towels at our request. Room was not cleaned for the 3 days we were there.

Hotel is dated. People are leaving their trays from room service everywhere, including at our door. Pool area is not great.

Very enjoyable; my room was comfortable and spacious. The Wi-fi worked very well. Thanks!

This hotel is a great location to the Old City. Just a block away. It also has a parking garage under the hotel with in and out opportunities. I loved this hotel. My biggest beef is that we did not have daily housekeeping services. I noticed my trash was emptied but no replacement towels when I left towels on the floor and our beds were never made. We were there for 3 nights. After the second night I asked a steward in the hall for new towels. I pay the same amount every night and expect housekeeping everyday of my stay. Discount those nights if I can’t get good service. The hot tub jets are sub-standard. It needs some retrofitting. After walking all around steep Quebec City, I looked forward to the hot tub but found it disappointing that the jets in the tub barely did their job. We ate at the hotel restaurant and had an amazing meal. Loved the layout of our room. It was a 2 room suite and was happy to get a room with 2 queen beds. Would definitely stay here again but I would negotiate daily housekeeping.

After arriving early from our morning flight, staff at front desk did not offer anything when we arrived until WE ourselves asked to store bags. They told us to come back at around 1. After doing so staff still maintained we were too early until another desk attendant interrupted and asked for my info. That’s when we were told our room was ready. Had we left it to the original personnel who knows how much longer we’d be waiting.
Room is nicely appointed but not super clean. There were what looked like candle wax stains on the wall in the corner and the bathroom had a dent in the wall, to name a few issues.
The bed is comfortable enough but the towels are spartan and rough. The pool is very cute, in the tropical courtyard but the whirlpool jets were not working.
Overall, it was an OK stay, but perhaps a bit overpriced for the level of service and comfort offered.

Dark. Very dark if you choose the “garden view.” The photos do not match the vibe. Dingy. Stale air. Creepy. Avoid if you are sensitive to energy. Unorganized and staff systems are frighteningly lacking in communication. It feels like no one really knew the answer to anything. Restaurant staff was great. Family had fun with the pool, hot tub and sauna. Fridge was extremely tiny.

As a 4 star hotel, I was surprised that only paper cups were provided for guests. The sofa bed was not comfortable and the bath towels were below standard. However, the hotel has a great location.

The hotel
Is older, but well maintained. We enjoyed the views. For older people who want to walk Old Quebec it can be a bit of a hike.

The only glitch at check in was I didn't bring the same credit card as I used for the reservation so had to resign for a new deposit. No big deal. The concierge helped with maps and restaurant recommendations but didn't tell us on a Friday night we would need reservations.

Location is great for old Quebec but that is the only good feature of this property.
Staff were very poorly trained and displayed consistent passive aggressive behaviour across all departments.
The hotel management have a lot to answer for in terms of training and hygiene. Waiting staff were in dirty uniforms, cleaning staff (when they appeared) pretended not to understand. Front desk were totally indifferent. Concierge either not there or more interested in their phone or eating on duty.
DO NOT GO FOR BREAKFAST. There are rules upon rules which remain unclear, food in buffet is inedible and hygiene levels are awful. Tables have milk in tiny disposable cartons (think airplane milk) Some menu items were unavailable because nobody is stock checking Waiting staff and kitchen staff wearing dirty uniforms and are totally disinteresed in the guests as are all staff in the hotel.
Our only conclusion is that this property is being operated by a management team that is only interested in the bottom line and COMPLETELY misses the point of what the hospitality industry is about - Guest Relations.
Having stayed in many hotels worldwide from 1 to 5 star we can definitely say that this is the Worst, Most Poorly Trained bunch of employees ever encountered. Management must take responsibility for this appalling level of indifference.
Do yourself a favour and stay somewhere that the staff actually give a damm about their customers.

It was just OK. Disappointed by the size of the room. For the same amount of money we could have done much better somewhere else !

A beautiful hotel, nice room! There was one evening that the elevators were not running… couldn’t use the stairs as the doors to each floor was locked. Only one elevator was running with lots of people waiting.
Location was perfect for us to walk around the neighborhood.

It was wonderful. The beds were the very best ever. The staff were amazing.

Decent hotel, little dated but comfortable. On the weekends there is live music in the center of the hotel. Located just outside the wall of the old city of Quebec

We stayed here for our anniversary weekend, and it was wonderful! Great location, 2 min walk to Old Quebec. Lovely decor. Clean and friendly, bilingual staff. Will stay here again.

Not so good. Cleaned of room was not satisfying. Even I bucket filled with water and looked like melted ice from other guests. My parents room’s bathroom was not clean

Perfectly located hotel within easy walking distance to many of the Quebec city sites. The fourth floor room was quiet in spite of being on a busy street. Room was also large and the bed was comfortable. We would definitely recommend this hotel when staying in Quebec city

Accessibilty of the place is wonderful. Staff service is hard. Have to do more follow up, till you have to go to customer service counter to get what you need. I did it thrice. Lol

Anniversary was wonderful.
Music from our balcony was amazing.

Hotel was incredible, although I may be allergic to whatever they use to wash their sheets. Woke with sore throat and congestion that went away and returned again after a night of sleep. BUT, the hotel staff was wonderful and the restaurant food was amazing. Definitely will stay there on our next Quebec City visit.

The check in time is much too late - 5:00 p.m., have never encountered this before. Rooms are not cleaned every day, they only empty the wastepaper baskets.

It is a older building. Wifi in our room was poor. Restaurant was good for breakfast and dinner we used. Easy walking distance to old town attractions.

We stayed in this hotel a few years ago and since that time the carpets conditions, at least on our 9th floor, have deteriorated and required to be replaced. The fridge was barely keeping our beverage cool. We also noticed how dark it was in the bedroom due to only lights were from the bed lamp. The bed offer no support.

Perfectly located property with comfortable beds and large suites. Even though the hotel is located on a major street, it was extremely quiet in our fourth floor room. There are an abundance of restaurants within easy walking distance. We highly recommend Cochon Dingue for breakfast.

Five pm check-in with no flexibility on either check-in or check-out. Minimal in room facilities, especially in bathroom. Surley cleaning staff. Fine dining restaurant with excellent service.
8.0
Great location, Rooms are spacious, clean, and super convenient to all the attractions but sub par buffet. The selection was decent, the taste was not the same quality of their dinner selection. Bland is a good way to describe breakfast. Skip the buffet and go to a local coffee house.

The people at the front desk were very accommodating and very nice.
