I enjoyed everything about the stay. The hotel has a impressive and beautiful structure, with an excellent pool, direct beach access, and outstanding cleanliness. The additional ($) breakfast options available at the bakery were also great and reasonably priced. However, the hotel's restaurants were expensive, and the distance from the city center made it inconvenient not to have nearby dining options, markets, or even late-night options at the front desk.

My husband and I came to Curacao for our 25th anniversary and chose this property for it’s on site dive shop. We rented an efficiency in the VIP adults only section to have some peace and quiet and a kid free pool. We were thrilled with our room and our view from our small and very private patio overlooking the water. Our room was simply and tastefully decorated, had a Nespresso original machine for coffee, cups, plates, utensils, electric kettle and skillet, and a small refrigerator. It was everything we needed for a self catered breakfast and lunch set up. We found groceries about 20 minutes away and weren’t disappointed by the selection. Pizza and More, the restaurant on property, has good pizza, pasta and baked goods. I often went first thing in the morning for fresh croissants to add to our bacon and eggs or to make a sandwich for lunch. The other two restaurants we tried once each for dinner and found them to be just ok and definitely not worth the price.
Our room was cleaned beautifully every day. Our wonderful housekeeper was thorough- mopping our tracked in beach mess every day. She did our dishes a few times when we left quickly in the morning for an early dive day too. Fresh towels, a clean bathroom and a made bed go a long way when you’ve had a day playing.
Loud power tool and construction noise from work going on early in the morning in a unit very near us was resolved quickly by management.
We’d definitely return here.

Pros: The resort was beautifully landscaped and well maintained. It was also very clean and the staff was very friendly. The water at the beach is pristine and clear as glass and you can see many many fish at the reef near off the shore. Their retaining walled beach is kept very clean.
Cons: The pool is very small (if you would compare it to regular resorts in places like Mexico, Cuba or Dominican Republic). This is likely bc fresh water is very expensive on Curacao as it is all coming from a reverse osmosis plant. The service and the food (and this seems to be a common trend on the island) was only partially good. Where staff was always friendly (at the resort and everywhere else too), the quality of service was maybe 3/10 (at all restaurants on the island). Each day, the maid who cleaned our room forgot to restock something, whether that was replacing all dirty towels, restocking coffee or TP. Every day something was missing. We only ate once at the restaurant by the beach and it tasted awful. We had nachos and the chef did just about everything you could do wrong making this dish. We complained & it was removed from our bill.
General note about Curacao: we went all over the island. We had one good tasty meal at a Dutch restaurant. Everything else was bland and not very good (it looked good tho). Service was poor everywhere, but staff nice. Prices are high everywhere, not just this resort. Make your own breakfast if you want to save some $.

This is a beautiful property. The views of the sea from the infinity pool were amazing! The staff were so friendly and helpful - great service! Thanks!

We enjoyed our stay at coral estates . We stayed in the adult section and the pool was never crowded. Our bed was ok but had amazing air conditioning ( much needed) . Food was just ok and some of our servers seemed pissed off but oh well . Biggest complaint was getting extra towels because when you shower the water runs all over the bathroom floor and BEYOND! Definitely need a car here if you want to explore !

Coral Estate Luxury Resort is a beautiful resort to stay in with stunning ocean view. However, I requested for a rental car through email and during check in I was told, “oops, the request was missed” I ended up hiring rental car from outside which cost me $100 extra. This kind of oversight is not ok.

Coral Estates resort is an excellent choice! We stayed in a luxury villa with 3br & 3 bathrooms. Our 2 young adult children were with us. All were very happy. Beautiful resort & relaxing beach with surprisingly good snorkeling. Great bar options. Nice restaurant settings but pricey & very limited for dietary restrictions (GF). Overall, wonderful amenities & we will return!

Small resort. Quiet and relaxing. Staff was very friendly and always helpful. Gorgeous turquoise clear waters and tons of fish and shellfish to see. A wonderful place to stay, I would definitely go back.

The stay was good, but someone went in to my room and stole some of my supplements! I had a whole week supply then they disappeared! The place is a good place but don't expect 5 Star service. They still use regular keys and little backwards. Not here to help the guests rather they find opportunities to charge guests.

Absolutely amazing. I saw a bunch of mix reviews. Didn’t have any issues getting towels every day they kept our room clean and service was always quick!

Loved the quietness at night. Loved the deck area. Easy parking. Pizza and more had great pizza and we also had a wonderful breakfast at the beach restaurant. Beds were comfortable, my suggestion would be to have a sheet on the bed, it gets hot with the comforter.

Great snorkeling at property. Nice pool and the restaurants were excellent. Great location on the island as well if you have a car. My one complaint and it is a small one. They have a Bocce ball course but the lost the little white ball and didn’t replace. For the love god buy a few extra😀

The most unique about the hotel was the abundance of beautifal colourful fishes in the sea directly by the beach.

The pizza restaurant is the best food on this resort! The landscape was very pretty, the private beach front area was very nice but it is extremely rocky there is no sand entry into the ocean with that being said they’re stairs that you use to get into the ocean, but beware of the crabs that are on the rocks but they’ll run when you get close to them! the ocean is very clear, great opportunity to snorkel as well as a great opportunity to learn how to scuba dive! The resort live music was great but it’s only on the weekends! We elected to stay in the VIP ocean view room, which was a great choice considering you get access to private pool, which was never full so we was able to get it to ourselves every time we went! The main pool area always had a nice crowd! The room was decent the balcony view to the ocean was beautiful view! Our shower hot water was luke warm at best! The room itself was very clean the air conditioner worked extremely well! Love the small kitchen area! The bed wasn’t that comfortable! Also a big bonus is that the resort rooms comes with Netflix! Also if you have American outlet plugs you would need a converter to the European plug but if you forget they sale them at the front desk! The location was in a gated community which was great! It is very private, it is about a 40 min drive from the airport and williamsted! But the location is great if you want to visit all the great beaches that Curacao has to offer!

Guests are not able to even access the pool or “beach” without spending money at the restaurants. The kitchen and living room of the deluxe apartments are outside with no air conditioning or privacy. If traveling with kids know that the 2nd bed room has to be accessed and locked separately since there is no private common area. While we were able to upgrade to the superior apartment (thank you Expedia) it took 3 hours of my time plus another 2 hours the next day (I was told it would be ready before 3 and it wasn’t ready until after 5 and only after my husband went to the office). The superior was much nicer (and had a private living area and dining room with ac), but the shower was inclined improperly and overflowed into the rest of the bathroom creating a slipping hazard. There was a squeegee left in the shower which you had to use every time (and several times during) to get the water towards the drain. Outside the apartment there was a nail polish bottle and lid in the rocks that were never cleaned up the entire week we were there. The trip was great, but this was resort was not.

Their sign says they do not charge to use pool, beach or beach chairs on resort. But you MUST consume something. Which indirectly means you must pay to use beach chairs and beach. The wait staff take their time and dont check up on you, you have to look for them and call them over if you need something. (This is at the rooftop koraal restaurant) karakto beach restaurant was great. Our overall stay was beautiful but just dont expect much from the restaurant department
8.0
Good overall. Poor food and drink service by American standards at the “rooftop” bar. Shower has no door or threshold so water goes everywhere, giant squeegee included. No pillowcases on bed to start. Could use better attention to detail

The staff was amazing expect for the mature lady at the bakery in the evening. They offer Pilates and yoga classes for free (but not everyday). They arranged for airport transportation and car rental. My power went out the day we were checking out and i waited over an hour, but then it came back. I would suggest karaoke night for later in the week.

I liked the professionalism, the greetings and the welcoming of the staff. The resort was nice and off the resort was great. The 3Bd 3ba villa with private pool was spectacular. My husband enjoyed his birthday vacation. The island ourself is amazing! I do recommend staying here and I will be back. The only dislike was we had to wait almost 1 1/2 hours to check in after the 3:00pm check in time.

Nice resort. Service at restaurants generally slow. Food is good quality. Room cleaning is spotty wit sometimes missing.
Room itself was nice. Nice terrace, ac good quiet

Variety of apartment and hotel style rooms to choose from. Enjoyed sightseeing during the day and returning to enjoy the resort. Great sunsets with beach dining. Overall, no complaints, would stay again.

Extremely friendly check in staff, very nice beach (that was always packed so you need to go early to get a chair and umbrella) and good food. But this isn't a 4 star resort. It is a big resort, yes, but it's more like a 3 or 3 and a half star. The showers are such that the water overflows and you have to spend time clearing the water after each shower. If your room is on a second level, you may not have anyone to help you with your luggage when you check in and out because the front desk is often short staffed. The phone in my room didn't work so I had to keep walking to the front desk if I had questions or issues (since I was unable to call them). I feel like I paid more than what the experience was worth. But again the staff for the most part is nice except for one young lady in the ice cream shop/bakery who was very rude every time I saw her. The staff needs to train her on being more professional and cordial. She shouldn't be in hospitality services with her bad attitude.

The resort is very good, with the exception of the service. Teams lack training. Another thing - the early check-in and late check-out benefits described for Hotels.com Gold members do not exist. They wanted to charge me USD 100 per hour in addition to checkout time.

It was a beautiful property on a beautiful beach with great snorkeling right off the beach. Also wonderful nearby beaches to snorkel in as well.

Very safe, clean and beautiful resort!

There is no guarantee that the Ocean View room you book will actually have an Ocean View, as some rooms are obstructed by a restaurant and dance area.

Coral Estates provides a very nice location for exploring the west end of the island. A number of nice beaches with good snorkelling are within an easy drive.

There was not enough food options, the staff was very friendly and attentive, the room and the grounds was very clean. It’s a little long wait for the room cleaning, long wait for the order at the restaurant. Overall the experience of my daughter’s wedding on the resort was excellent!!!

This Resort is breathtakingly beautiful. It’s tranquil and romantic. The staff are all pleasant and courteous. Downsides are there’s not enough good food options, they don’t offer room service and the staff are happily and loudly working the grounds early so you can NOT sleep in.
All in all I loved it but I try another place to stay if I came back to curaçao.

We had a lovely stay at the Coral Estates. We loved the location even though it was about a half hour outside Willemstad. It allowed for a more peaceful vacation. Thank you to all the staff who make the resort a wonderful place to vacation.

Great location if you like a peaceful, relaxing environment and want to be closest to the best snorkeling beaches on the island. We really enjoyed our stay here. The resort is on the ocean with a coral rock beach, dive center, and snorkeling. The rooms have a kitchenette (we made all our own meals) as well as several restaurants. We drove west up the island to Playa Lagun, Klein Knip, and Grote Knip. Beautiful, warm, clear water with terrific snorkeling. In front of the resort the snorkeling is fine - but even better further west. The resort is set in an area of developed residences and has security. However there is very little infrastructure nearby. We got a rental car from the airport, stopped at the grocery store near Willemstad, and then stayed at the resort and went to nearby beaches and were very happy. If you want more shopping, dining, resort activities like golf etc. you would be happier in Willemstad area. This was perfect for us. Also - note deluxe ocean view rooms (which we had) online show the picture from the second story rooms. They are lovely - looking over the resort to the ocean. The ground level deluxe ocean view rooms have a lesser view. We found the customer service to be excellent. We were able to add an electric skillet to our kitchenette to do more cooking. We got beach towels at check in and could exchange them daily. We always were able to get fresh bath towels if needed. The VIP Access $80 value was just discount coupons.

We liked a lot. For those looking for tranquility, this is the best place.
