Broughton Lofts is a beautiful apartment! Spacious, clean, convenient for walking. We enjoyed our stay and highly recommend!
2.5
Tremendous sense of space achieved in this conversion of a classic Edinburgh building. Great restaurants and groceries on the doorstep as well as easy walking distance into City Centre.

This was an easy place to stay for a night near everything you’d want to walk to. There is no elevator which was a drag but seems common in Edinburgh, and we did find the bed so soft for our tastes that one of us slept downstairs on the sofa (which he slept great on). Prices in the city that weekend were sky high so we feel glad to have found such a big space that didn’t feel cramped or loud.

Lovely property, very spacious and clean. Stayed in flat 5 (single bed) and was perfect for a couple away for a night in Edinburgh. Communication was first class and when phoning customer service to discuss early arrival for parking purposes they couldn’t have been more helpful. 10/10 stay, we’ll definitely be back!
3.0
The apartment is nice and kind of comfy, except for one big miss (below) which kills the experience. The average rating comes from the lack of customers support / attention from the staff.
It is just absurd that in a large well equipped apartment there is no adequate coffee machine: there is only a kettle with Nescafé bags and a French press with no coffee. The fob are induction ones and it is not possible to use an external coffee machine (which we had brought). When called to ask for help, the reaction of the employee pointed to having received multiple times the complaint but never cared to do anything about it (same for me). So this was a quite disturbing attitude - I know but don’t care - and the very fact that you can’t make yourself a decent coffee when you wake up in the morning really lowers the quality of the experience by A LOT

Perfectly placed to visit Edinburgh, the apartment is only a short walk from Princes Street. A little uphill to start the day but downhill after a long day seeing the sights. The apartment is well equipped with all you need to self cater and there are a few eateries within easy walking distance if you fancy a night out. Best to book because they can sometimes get full. And don't always take what it says on line. We tried to book the Conan Doyle on line and it said they were full for a few nights. We popped in and booked no problem.

Perfect place. Big space with big windows, complete sets of life conveniences. Great accessibility to the city center.
We absolutely enjoyed our two night stay.

Accommodation was above 5 star (flat 06)
101% recommend
Good location
Parking not included (pay extra)
Nice layout to the apartment
Stairs only no lift ( not that it bothered us)
Good value for money

Spacious and well furnished room with clean bed linen and towels, responsible customer service. Only issue is the heating system made consistent low frequency noise around bed and kitchen area. Would have been a perfect stay otherwise.

The location was fine. However, the cleanliness was unsatisfactory. No housekeeping nor even trash clearance for 3 days.

There won’t be many if any properties in Edinburgh that match the style and value of this accommodation. The next time I stay it will be for more than 1 night.
Great vision well done.

Unfortunately for the communication and customer service was disappointing. There was a power cut which left us without electricity for a large part of one day. Rang to report early in the morning (around 06:30) and the said they would keep us informed. No call back or apology. Power came back on in the afternoon but again no explanation. Wi-fi went down when the electricity did and this was not working for around 3 days. Again we reported and they took our mobile numbers and said they would call us back. Never received a call or apology. Wi-fi eventually started working but no explanation. This was a key reason we picked this accommodation, to avoid excessive data costs. Customer service was a let down, as the apartment itself was great, modern and set out nicely with lots of space.

The doors are so loud. Neighbors slamming their doors at all hours of the night. Very little accommodation for early check in

Great location and awesome apartments with everything you could need.

Apt is beautiful and very spacious, over two floors, with two bathrooms and a huge bed! We also had a baby cot which was very helpful. Huge windows let a lot of light in which is lovely and the area is super central and in midst of the buzzing Broughton St with lots of great restaurants and coffee shops! Communication was not ideal but friendly customer service when we had to speak to someone. Would definitely recommend to friends and family as well as stay again ourselves! Very nice place and great area/ location. Many thanks!

The location was great, it was off of the main tourist area, but not too far to walk, or to take the tram. The flat was very modern and aesthetically pleasing.
Our only complaint was with the room configuration. One room had a bathroom, which is nice, but 0 windows or any air ventilation beside leaving the door to the room wide open. Since it was a very warm summer it made the room less than comfortable when trying to sleep. The other room was basically a loft, with a door. Ventilation wasn't a problem, but because it is a loft all the sound from downstairs or from the room carries everywhere else. If want some privacy, or a quiet place to rest while others are downstairs chatting or watching TV this bedroom is not good for that. This room also is a good size, but 75% of it is taken up by the bed, you can just barely walk between the foot of the bed to the other side.
Having a refrigerator and wacher/dryer was nice too. Overall we had a pretty good experience here, just a couple small issues.

These apartments are by far the best we have ever stayed in and we're clean and beautifully decorated, we had an amazing weekend in edinbrugh and these apartments made the weekend even better, the location is fantastic, roughly a 15 min walk from the station and 10 from rose street and princess street, highly recommended and will be returning

Excellent service with very friendly staff working in the office a few blocks away but could be reached by intercom easily. The apartment is very spacious with everything you could think of as a home away from home. The location of the apartment is in the city Center. The tram to airport is only 1-2 minutes walk. All the bus tour stops are within 4 minutes walk, 5 minutes walk to Waverly train station.

It was fantastic. Possibly our nicest stay in Scotland, wish we had stayed longer!

Fabulous flat in a great little area. Easy for the tram from the airport, lots of things close by. Perfect!

I wish I could stay at a luxury self-catering apartment like this one in every new city, because it's the way to go! The apartment is located within 30 minute walk to Edinburgh castle and main attractions, with lots of great eating options nearby. The loft itself was very new, modern, spacious and very comfortable. Check-in and check-out was seamless because of the great staff communications and smart locks. Very pleased with our stay, and I will chose to stay at Destiny Scotland again without a doubt!
1.0
The apartment we stayed in was brand new. It's well-appointed and centrally located, with a spectacular view of the castle. Our entry code didn't work at first, but we called the office and they straightened it right out. It's reassuring to know that there's a number you can call even after hours. The only thing we weren't crazy about was the stairs: our apartment was three long flights up. One other drawback--a minor one--is that the doors to all the rooms close automatically: to preserve free access between rooms, you have to prop the doors open. Overall, this is an excellent place to stay; it's spacious and right at the hub of the city, with many buses, food stores, and pubs virtually at your doorstep.
2.5
The lofts on Broughton are really well appointed apartments close to good restaurants and bars. There is reasonable access to parking [albeit metered] in nearby streets.
The apartments are quiet and the beds are extremely comfortable.

nice loft in the city center, and close to a lot of the attractions in the city. About a 10 minute walk to the castle, and all the shops ...

Excellent loft apartment in New Town that is easy walking distance to the sights of the Old Town. Lots of cafes and pubs nearby. Very spacious and comfortable but a little traffic noise at night. The staff were really helpful.
