Elegant hotel and grounds. Our room was beautifully appointed, and the most comfortable bed we have ever slept in. Dinner and breakfast at the restaurant were outstanding. Worth the travel time and expense for a special trip.

The Hotel was nice and mostvof the staff were friendly. However the service in the restaurant was not so good. My meal was fine but my wife's chicken wasn't. When we mentioned it to the waiter his response was,
" well it's corn fed" and then walked off.
Also the bathroom wasn't as clean as it should've been for a 5 star Hotel.
I don't think we will be returning.

Beautiful manor house hidden away in an idyllic setting in the Cotswolds that upon your arrival your made to feel like a Lord of the manor. Lords of the Manor Hotel is a beautiful property with no shortage of charm and exceptional staff. Enjoy a leisurely walk around the grounds, or sit with a glass of wine in the gardens, before enjoying a delicious meal in the dining room with additional garden views. There are many smaller lounges and an abundance of board games and books on hand and the staff are happy to provide recommendations on activities and sights to see in the surrounding villages.

Lords of the Manor is a delightfully quirky English country hotel in the wonderfully named Upper Slaughter. There is definitely something that reminds guests of a certain age of Basil, Sybil, Polly, Manuel et al… but don’t be fooled the food is fabulous despite no Waldorf salad to be found anywhere, this was more than made up for by the sensational Cosmopolitans conjured up by the South African barman whom I’m afraid name escapes me. The rooms are comfortable and well appointed, bathrooms modern and water pressure excellent. All in all a great place to spend a night or two while exploring the Cotswolds. We would recommend without hesitation!

We had a fantastic time, this must be the most dog friendly hotel in the UK. The staff are really friendly and our room was superb. The hotel is in a lovely setting with a short drive to some lovely Cotswold villages. We stayed in a Junior Suite, the Waddington which had a door to the gardens which was perfect for our two dogs. Dog beds were supplied, as were dog bowls and treats. At dinner water bowls were at the table before we arrived.

Stunning hotel in beautiful Upper Slaughter, with attentive staff - nothing was too much trouble. On arrival, they were out of the door to collect our bags before I’d even got out of the car! It was the perfect balance between feeling looked after, without being intrusive. We dined in the Atrium which was absolutely outstanding. We have eaten in many Michelin star restaurants over the years and this tasting menu was in a league of its own, with the accompanying wine flight - if a Michelin star does not head your way very soon, it’s truly an injustice! We are planning on another visit in the summer months to try the menu again, when the seasons change. Very much looking forward to it!

Absolutely lovely place to stay. The grounds were spectacularly gorgeous, and the room was large with the cutest wallpaper.
The staff was accommodating, and helpful. The restaurant was really good, especially the pea soup.
I without a doubt would stay here again.

This is truly a treat to stay at! The room was absolutely beautifully decorated and had everything we needed to be comfortable including towels that were big and fluffy enough to wrap around you. The staff were welcoming for our 11pm later rival. The breakfast buffet in the morning was beautiful and the scones and clotted cream were perfect! I can't say enough good about the manor and the people that work there. The grounds and gardens are incredible and in full Bloom with the Fall colors. I wish I could have stayed longer.

Great hotel and ideal spot for a romantic weekend away.

The perfect quintessentially English Country House experience. Attentive and friendly staff, wonderful food and spacious accommodation. Not our first time as guests and hopefully not our last. A perfect opportunity to "disconnect" and just enjoy....
