This house was an absolute perfect place to stay while in DC. It was about a 20 min drive from center of DC where all the museums are or a 5 min drive from the Fort Totten metro station. Inside was perfectly sized for our family of 6 (2 kids took the bunk beds, 2 kids shared the queen). The house was clean, very nicely decorated and very inviting. We were able to use the grill one of the nights for dinner. The kitchen and whole house is equipped with everything you will need. There are even shampoo, conditioner and body wash in the showers. And they left sealed toothbrushes in case you forgot yours in the bathrooms. You can tell that they really care about the people staying here. Craig was amazing with communication as well and responded right away via cell. There were no dishwasher pods for our stay and he had the cleaner uber it to the house within a few hours. As previous reviewers have said, the parking spot is difficult to get into and we struggled with our minivan but made it work. However, do not let that deter you because the property itself is perfect. I would not hesitate to book again if we go to DC in the future.

This townhouse was absolutely stunning! Beautifully decorated with everything you need for a great stay. It has all the supplies that we needed for a 5-night stay so we did not need to purchase anything outside of food. It is about a 15 minute walk to the Fort Totten metro stop which is super convenient and there is a metro bus stop less than a block from the home. I would absolutely stay here again. The homeowner was easy to reach and super nice as well.

The house was perfect for our needs! It was very well stocked. The only thing we had trouble with was the parking spot. We had a large vehicle for the 7 of us, and it was very difficult to get in and out of the parking space. However, it worked and it was one of our favorite spots of our trip!

This property served just what we needed to work as educators on curriculum together.

I grew up 20 minutes away in MD and had mini family trip.
We had an absolutely delightful stay at this Craig’s vacation rental!
From the moment we arrived, the property was impeccably clean, tastefully decorated, and well-maintained.
The living areas and comfortable bedrooms provided ample room for our family to relax and unwind with plenty of natural light. The kids had the basement to themselves.
The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed to prepare all meals. We even enjoyed the small patio for a glass of wine.
There are some great restaurants nearby Timber Pizza, Menya Ramen and Little Food studio (10 mins drive)
The house is located in a residential neighborhood on a busy street next to a fire station. Parking is in the back of the property. You hear traffic and an occasional fire truck, but it’s not bothersome. You definitely need a car or Uber drive to the METRO.
Overall, this vacation rental exceeded our expectations, and we would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fantastic DC getaway.

Great accommodations, excellent location, and comfortable space for a family of 6. We enjoyed our stay and would book this location again for our next visit to DC. Easy to access the sights of DC, good restaurants within reasonable walking distance in the area, as well as access to stores for grocery & other needs. Easy to communicate with our host. Overall a great experience.

Pros: plenty of space, wonderful owner communications, house is well appointed.
Con: difficult parking situation, even with one car maneuvering the driveway. Not a very walkable community if you need amenities close by.

Perfect location for our family of 5 spring break, easy ride share or metro (with 1 mi walk) to the mall and short drive to Arboretum, zoo, Rock Creek Park.

We stayed here with our 3 kids and found this place perfect for our family! Lots of space, plenty of bathrooms and everything we needed to be comfortable after lots of exploring all day. The metro is just a short walk away and the house is very clean and updated! The owner is super responsive with any questions you may have too! Highly recommend!!!

This property is perfect for a family visiting DC. All of the bedrooms were comfortable and there was plenty of room for a family to find space away from each other when needed. Having two teenagers requires space and as a family of four this townhouse was perfect as everyone had their own bedroom and space. Very close to the Metro station which was important to us, as we went into the city everyday but then was able to get away back to the house and away from the hustle and bustle. Off street parking was a major plus! Highly recommend this property!

Have overall 5 rating because despite some issues we had that were out of the owner’s control and dealt with quickly through easy communication, this property was perfect for our stay in DC. It’s close to downtown - you could easily take public, but we chose to use spot hero to park downtown because it was less expensive than 6 taking the metro. The house is well stocked with kitchen items, extra blankets and pillows, and plenty of room. We did not receive a checkin email, but I contacted the property owner and was given instructions immediately. Great visit to DC!

Craig was super responsive right from the beginning. He offered a lot of information and provided additional feedback on things to do and places to visit in the general area. Every time I needed anything Craig responded quickly and was extremely helpful. The VRBO was very nice and clean. I was there with family attending an event at U of Maryland. I would stay here again if visiting DC.

The Cherry Blossom Comfy Townhouse was perfect for our family. Plenty of room for everyone. Everything was very clean which is extremely important for us. Close enough to walk to the Metro for trips to the Monuments and Museums. Great property and terrific hosts that responded quickly to questions. I definitely recommend this property and would stay here again!

Very nice place, great kitchen, nice beds, and nice downstairs for the kids. On a fairly busy street, but the house is surprisingly quiet. Easy check-in, check-out. Quite a very long walk to the Metro. But very nice updated home.

Perfect stay, very Nice and clean House who had everything we needed and location very nice. You are wishing 20 minutes drive of everything you need to see and Craig responded very Quick with one small issue.

The townhouse was really well done- and the host had everything we needed, including extra toothpaste and toothbrushes in case you forgot! The ONLY thing is that the parking is very limited. There is really only comfortable parking for one vehicle- two if your cars are really compact. The townhouse is decorated beautifully and the kitchen is well equipped- loved the stove!! Thank you for a great place to stay.

We had a great time. The property was accurately described, nice and plenty big for our family of 8. Nice area and easy Uber ride to Capitol Hill.

We planned a nice family vacation for our 2 young adult children and their significant others. The house had plenty of room and the 3 bathrooms were a plus. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook a couple of meals. Enjoyed the complementary coffee. We had a slight issue that was handled very promptly. Parking a suburban was not the easiest on property, but we made it work. We enjoyed our stay.

Close to everything, separate spaces that allowed each group to have their own crash space and bathrooms. 10/10 - would stay again.

We were very happy at our stay at this clean vrbo. It suited our needs perfectly! We came for a daughters job interview and wanted to see the museums and memorials. Several bus stops are within a few hundred feet. It was nice having the washer/dryer in house. We didn't have to pack as much and came home with all clean clothes. All the appliances are fairly new and everything was very clean.
The memorials are a great reminder of the wisdom and the great country we used to have. (Lincoln, Jefferson, Roosevelt) Washington DC should be a shining example but instead is a shame and a glaring reminder of the mess we have made of the country.
If you come at this time of year (June) there was an eternal line of school buses at the museums. The noise was intolerable in the big hollow halls. At times it was so claustrophobic and loud that I just had to get out. We never finished any museum except the spy museum which was interesting. There is just so much to see.

Tastefully updated property in a residential neighborhood. Near lovely green spaces to walk, jog, etc. and easy access to busses or the Metro. Parking space dedicated to the townhouse is very limited...two small cars at best, but there is plenty of nearby on-street parking. If you have cooks in the family, the kitchen is well equipped. Three full size bathrooms are a big plus.

We adored our stay at this beautiful home - plenty of room for a family of seven. Four bathrooms, and lots of little touches that made the place gorgeous - the Washington DC wallpaper, and the chess table, for example. Kitchen is fully stocked! Love the coffee set up. We easily traveled from here to the capitol and Supreme Court. It was a dream come true to stay here, and we hope to come back again.

Though the house itself is old, it has been renovated top to bottom. The house is clean and functional and not a square inch was wasted. Parking was straightforward.

We had a wonderful stay. The house was beautiful and very clean. We spent most of the days sightseeing and reaxing in the evenings. The kitchen was fully equipped to prepare meals and reheat leftovers. I would definitely stay there again.

The house was nice and well equipped. The parking is not the easiest but made due.

Amazing place, close to metro station, great decor and well kept. Only thing I would change is the driveway! I’m not used to parking like an easterner! Everything is bigger out west! Thanks for sharing your place.

The house was perfectly set up for our family of 4. Well decorated and had everything! I was able to bake in the kitchen and never had to buy anything except food. Loved that everything we needed was there. Good area for walking, too. Lovely!

As soon as you enter, the sign welcomes you warmly. The place was spotless. The kitchen modern. The beds were very comfortable. All of the small touches and decor made the place a delight with each new discovery. The owners were highly responsive and on top of things helping us with our stay.
It was quiet.
If you are going to an event at Catholic University this is your MUST STAY place. Very close. We were there for a wedding and we were the closest to the university of all the guests. A++++++++. Would stay there again and again!

Our stay at Hawaii 10 was peaceful and quiet from the hustle and bustle of the city. It was clean and cozy. Thank you Craig for the hospitality and the timely responses. Highly recommend for family stays in DC.

This townhouse was exactly what we wanted. My family of 5 came to DC for a long weekend and needed a comfortable place for all of us to fit. This place was exactly what we wanted. It gave us space in order for everyone to have some alone time when needed but most importantly had space for us all to come together and enjoy each other. The bedrooms were comfortable and plenty of bathrooms for there not to be any squabbling.
