We thought our room was worn and tired. The condition of the very weird bathroom was sub-par. Not all the windows were screened so it was harder to ventilate the room. The breakfast left a lot to be desired, but the person serving it was friendly. In terms of value for the money, it isn't very good. The location, though, is very good. We go to Healdsburg frequently and will stay elsewhere next time.

Rooms were very nice. Can’t beat the location in downtown Healdsburg. Breakfast buffet was excellent.

Our fourth stay at the Camellia Inn and as always a very enjoyable one at that. A five minute walk to the center of Healdesburg, complimentary wine tastings at numerous Wilson Wineries, very friendly staff and a great breakfast to start the day. Lastly, free parking and no annoying add on charges. P.S. They also mailed my left behind items to the hotel we were staying at next in Paso.

The internet is not good
Smart TV we can’t use
A first room was very dusty

The staff is very nice and the breakfast each morning was very good! The Inn is older house so it has its little quarks so you have to look aside from a more modern hotel when staying here but I would recommend it. The grounds could be a lot prettier if there was a more TLC. The location is perfect and you can walk to all the shops and restaurants.

Loved our stay here! It’s walking distance to so many great places! Only downside is how creaky the old house/ furniture is. I didn’t mind it but would recommend bringing earplugs.

We were so excited to stay here since the reviews were so stellar, but our experience was less than ideal. First, we did not get the room that we were promised. We booked a Executive King Room, which included a jet tub according to their website, but when we checked in we noticed that it only had a shower booth so we asked the receptionist, and she said this was still a Executive King Room but the only Executive King Room that didn't have the jet tub and because they had a renovation recently and we booked it through hotels.com, the room information was not accurate on hotels.com. And then she offered a King Suite with a bath tub that can only fit one person and that's directly connected to the dining area where you would have absolute no privacy and asked us if we wanted that instead. The room was a lot prettier, but we didn't want to hear other people nor wanted other people to hear us so we decided to take the original room with a shower booth. This original room was tucked away in the back of the building so it was more private but the room was half in underground, rather dark and dingy. It definitely was NOT what we expected.
Also, the communication was not great. I didn't get any reply to my inquiries via email nor text before checking in. I mentioned my dietary restriction, which the receptionist acknowledged when we checked in, but was not delivered to the kitchen in the end. We definitely won't be coming back here.

My wife and I stayed here in late July on a trip to see family in the Bay Area. The property was beautiful and well cared for in all aspects. Secure, keyless entry to the common areas and keyed access to individual rooms. Off street parking felt convenient and safe, with easy walking distance to shops, restaurants and downtown venues. The owners were responsive and accommodating to any special requests and the fellow guests were a joy to interact with. I would definitely recommend this to anyone wanted to explore Healdsburg or use this as a base for Russian River or California coastal exploration.

Our stay was wonderful. Conversely located near the shops and dining of Healsburg plaza, comfortable accommodations, friendly staff and a lovely breakfast. We will definitely be staying here again!

Lots of issues. The first day’s breakfast was downright scrawny and bad. That noted, the other days’ were very good.
Pet policy is confusing and not well communicated.
Front yard was off limits for much of the stay.
No USB ports in the dated rooms.
Shower barely functioned.
Roaches in the room.
They purport to have nighttime wine available, and it is a joke. They leave a bottle and some glasses on a table when they depart at 4:30 or so, and the bottle ends up on a table, empty, surrounded by a few glasses, just an hour or two later. None for the majority of us.
This was just not what it claimed to be, online. Not good at all.

Delightful B&B. Wine in afternoon at check in, with chocolate cookies. Lovely room with Jacuzzi tub and shower, comfy bed. Breakfast was great - they checked for any food restrictions on confirmation and double checked before breakfast.
The only minor downside is lack of elevator to the room, but it's only one floor up and they did offer to carry up the luggage for us (we declined).
The location couldn't be beat for our walk to the Single Thread restaurant .

What a beautiful place! I was so pleasantly surprised by how new and beautifully appointed the room was, and the bathroom was stunning! I loved how serene and peaceful the property was. The breakfast was delicious and the staff were all so friendly and welcoming. The location couldn’t be better as you’re a block away from the best restaurants, museums and tasting rooms. I can’t wait to come back!

The location couldn't be better for this little B and B two blocks off the main square on a quiet stretch of North St. The staff are great and for an old house there's surprisingly little noise through the walls. The daily wine pours were most welcome. But it is an old house, full of creaks and ready for some refurbishing.

Great charming place to stay, the building has an old Victorian feel to it. Great decor and location, you can walk around downtown within 5 minutes. The Tower West room has a huge jacuzzi. The breakfast is complementary and is made fresh in house and is really good. We got fresh yogurt fruit parfait (hand made, not from a packet) and freshly prepared omelettes with cheese, bacon and Apples (!).

Charming old Victorian house, comfortable room, relaxing lounge room & discovered backyard swimming heated pool. Spacious backyard parking. Two blocks away from shops, cafes & restaurants. Delicious breakfast. Hard to beat!

Fantastic location. Just a block away from the square. Breakfast served was great and made to order (not buffet style). Building is charming (creaky but is to be expected). Will be back again!

Stayed in the courtyard room. Foot access was limited due to a metal stairway and parked car limiting access. We also had to walk around the trash bin and yellow jackets to get to our room door.

The property was never secured. The house had no locks

Charming 150 year old Victorian on a quiet street. A few minutes walk from great restaurants and shopping around the town square.
Relaxing pool and other outdoor settings to enjoy.

My friend and I really enjoyed our time at Camellia Inn. It’s a Bea pink inn surrounded by white and various pink colored camellias. Our rooms were comfortable and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. Before arriving we were able to book wines tasting and dinner reservations. I highly recommend Little Saint, the second story.

Camellia Inn is a beautiful property with history and comfort.
Everyone is very welcoming and breakfast is always fresh and amazing.

It’s a beautiful property, but the room left a little to be desired. Some Moldy grout, ceiling water damage. Carpet a bit grungy. The worst was the noisy heat pump ( I am assuming the constant gurgling was from that) it kept me awake. Breakfast was good though and a great location, near downtown.

Our spacious suite had a very comfortable king bed, nicely furnished with character antiques, very clean and quiet - including the AC. Everything was perfect including our morning breakfasts. We slept well for our two nights and enjoyed the many Healdsburg restaurants, cafes and wine shops within a 5 minute walk from the Inn.

The Camellia Inn is quaint and lovely. We were pleasantly surprised that we had never noticed this gem on our other visits to Healdsburg. We were there celebrating my niece's 21st birthday with some wine tasting. The free tastings offered by the Wilson Wineries were a plus, as we ventured out for two days. The light breakfast was lovely as was the wine offered upon arrival and freshly baked chocolate chip cookies. After a long day of traveling, we relaxed in the sitting room with a glass of wine and marveled at the home built in 1869. The neighborhood is incredibly walkable and we were able to get to at least 3 of the Wilson wineries plus one the other two of which my daughter is a member. We would definitely stay here again. The pillows and bed were comfortable, and the sitting area and bathroom were lovely. The room was very quiet and we had a fabulous time.

We really enjoyed this Inn. Very comfortable rooms. Breakfast was plentiful -- kind of wish it was earlier than 9am. Very walkable to downtown. Good communication before check in and during our stay.

It’s in a 19th century building with a lot of character in a quiet block only a few blocks from Healdsburg Square. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Included is a delicious breakfast. It’s unusual to ha be a pool and parking lot associated with a historical inn so close to the city center. Lots of wonderful restaurants, wine tasting rooms, and specialty shops are within a few blocks.

Looking for a super convenient location to discover Healdsburg at a historic period B and B? Try Camellia Inn with it’s anytime tea and coffee service and freshly baked cookies, along with freshly prepared breakfast. Only two short blocks to Healdsburg Plaza and all the local shops, restaurants and tasting rooms. Note to innkeeper: The broken and twisted shade in the Royalty Room needs attention. Overall a great stay.

Good price for location. Loved the historical feel and details. Super comfy bed, friendly host, and great breakfast. Short walk to downtown. Property in need of some renovation, but is a work in progress. I would definitely stay again!
