A beautifully renovated cottage just minutes away from Bantam and Litchfield, this is the perfect getaway for a couple or family to visit Litchfield County. Shops and recreation are close by but you are in a peaceful and bucolic setting with views of the Litchfield Land Trust forest and minutes from White Memorial. The master bedroom has a modern ensuite bathroom. There is plenty of room for up to three kids in an open second floor space. Enjoy the outdoor bluestone terrace for sunsets and grilling.

Beautifully renovated and charming property. Wonderful landscaping and views, thoughtful architectural details throughout. Great flow. The bedroom portion of the master suite is private, enabling easy access to the large, main bath for families or friends traveling together. 1/2 bath downstairs also nicely designed and accessible. Great light! Upstairs serves as a wonderful bunk room with private niches, window seats, etc

My wife and I extend our thanks to the gracious hosts, Jeffrey and Karen. Their cottage is even nicer than the pictures convey. Truly a remarkable little house. We enjoyed our time reading in the sunroom and evenings on the back patio. It's close to Arethusa Dairy for ice cream! If you need a place to stay in Litchfield, and this is available, stay here. It's a great spot. This was an anniversary get-away and the quality of the property really made an extended weekend special.

The pictures do not do justice to this lovely home. The setting is beautiful and sitting on the patio is serene. There is plenty of room in this lovingly renovated cottage. The hosts were friendly and responsive. A very short drive to the center of Litchfield with shops and restaurants as well as some trails for long hikes. Highly recommended.

The cottage house had a warm, welcoming vibe to it. It was very well maintained. The grounds were beautiful. The home had everything available that you could possibly want. It was very cozy. We had relatives from Italy with us and they absolutely loved it. I would definitely go back and I highly recommend it. Congratulations to the owners, because they have done a wonderful job with it.

Beautiful home with great spaces for kids in the single beds in the attic and adults on main floor master. If you’re looking for a getaway to stay and explore Litchfield or ski on Mohawk, this place is great.

Can't say enough wonderful things about this rental property! We stayed for 2 weeks over Christmas, with 3 little boys, who had the best time! The old cottage has been so beautifully updated to give you the historic vibes with tasteful modern touches. And the house sits on a picturesque property. The owners live next door and are incredibly nice and helpful should you need anything. We had the best trip and made lots of life long memories. Hoping to stay there again the next time we're in town!

We were visiting family in the area. Delighted with every aspect of the rental. The owners were easy to contact and were responsive. The kitchen was modern and well stocked, all high end appliances. The beds were comfy, plenty of storage, great views of the countryside, amazing bathroom, close to town of Litchfield. Highly recommend this place. Would stay here again.

Our stay in Litchfiled was wonderful. The town offers all of the New England charm we were hoping for when we picked it. Jeff's cottage is beautiful and a great size for our party which included 3 adults and 3 children.

My daughter and I chose Jeff and Karin's cottage for a long weekend stay and couldn't have been happier! It was exactly as promised in descriptions and photos. The cottage was beautifully, equipped for a cozy stay a wonderful place for making dinners and enjoying the scenery and the towns nearby. Jeff was exceptionally welcoming and kind, definitely a weekend to remember!

My now husband and I decided to book this property since it was close to our wedding venue! We stayed two nights and it was the best experience! Not only is the house and property gorgeous, but the hosts are very responsive and nice. The house had everything and was super clean and spacious. Overall I would book this location again for a lovely staycation experience. Highly recommend!! Thank you!!

We had a very nice stay in this lovely cottage. Everything is tastefully decorated and you won’t miss anything. The kids loved the attic room and the garden, we even saw deers and had snow. Perfect place for discovering the Litchfield Hills. I highly recommend this place !

Our family of 4 adults needed a place to stay near Litchfield for a family funeral. Jeff’s place was the perfect cosy cottage as described. He was very accessible since he lives next door and was hospitable in helping us with our need for flexibility checking in and out. Superbly nice man and spectacularly clean place. With the beds upstairs we were comfortable with our two adult children and made the one shower work easily since there is a half bath as well. Would stay here anytime I’m in the area.
