Very noisy!
3.0
The lack of air conditioning combined with a weak fan caused us to have a sleepless night.
6.0
room air conditioning was only a fan which was very noisy. outside patio below room window was noisy (people talking) all night long. bathroom soap was cheap. bed was soft and squishy.
would not recommend.

A wonderful hotel with amazing staff and services. We would definitely stay again.

We booked the family suit and a double room for my parents. Very nice and clean.
The suit was perfect for my husband and kids. I would recommend that suit (apartment) if you have kids as you have a full kitchen.
Parking across the street, belongs to the hotel, available for a small fee.
Close to everything in walking distance. A great value.

Very nice hotel right in city center, close to everything. We had a studio room outside in the courtyard. It was very loud in am from others walking about and talking super loud. If we had windows open which we did as there is no ac. The voices travel a lot. The smell of cigarettes was bad too. Other guests and employees smoking near open windows. Other than that the place was easy to check in and very clean and comfortable. Right next to Porta Nigra.

The location is perfect for a weekend in the city. Located right across from the Porta Nigra!
We had a very clean, quiet, spacious apartment, reaching over three stories just for us. Two bedrooms, with very good beds and a very comfortable sofa bed, solid roll down shutters, blocking out light. We had a real kitchen, coffee maker, coffee and tea bags, big fridge and table for four. Even a washing machine was included. At breakfast the nice hostess baked chocolate croissants just for us!
Parking spaces were available in the back.
The front desk personnel was extremely knowledgeable about Trier, also gave us great suggestions for our travel to Luxemburg. The feeling was modern with a little bit of eighties thrown in.
The hotel lobby is only staffed during the day, but uses keyless codes to allow entry to the hotel and individual spaces. We did not need any in-person assistance once we had checked in. We would return to this place anytime!

Hotel is in a great location, close to everything. The steps to the room were inconvenient. The light for the toilet also turned on a noisy extraction fan.
6.0
The location was great. It is advertised as a smoke free property, but the staff smoked by a window during breakfast and the fumes entered the dining area.

I like the location and the price was ok for solo business traveler but wifi access did not work and there was nobody to help. The bathroom light switch triggered a very noisy cheap extract fan and the person was a bit curt in the morning. I manage to park in the Mercure hotel parking across for 10 euros a night

Nice bedroom, very good breakfast and close to the city center.

Excellent hotel. Clean, amazing location, and breakfast was great. Would stay here again!

Great hotel concept, fantastic location.
Hotel has everything that you need for travel.

The staff was extremely helpful. We enjoyed being close to the city center.

The hotel is ideally located, just steps from the main attractions. For that reason alone, it is good value-for-money. I travelled to Trier by train. The hotel is walking distance from the station. The room itself is basic but includes all the fundamentals. The only problem was noise. The rooms aren’t sound-proofed, so I heard traffic, every door slam shut and people arriving throughout the night.

Staff was very helpful with checkin as it was very teck oriented and I am not.

Good location. Good room. The online check-in system is a nuisance. There is no access to the lobby in the evening.

The check in was confusing, the front desk was not manned when we arrived at 8 pm. A note on the door had a QR code and directions to check in online. The code did not work on my American iPhone? I called the emergency number and the young lady came over in ten minutes to help us check in, everything was fine after that… Enjoyed are stay in Trier.

Location was nice. Easy to get to train. Window in room was broken so could hear outside and felt the cold air. Not terrible but a bit loud.
3.0
Great location.
Clean.
Covid restrictions impacted staffing levels.
The staff made as much effort as they could.
Confusion with booking took several hours with Hotels.com & the Hotel to clarify.
On the day of arrival, problems continued.
I’m not sure it was the Hotels fault….

The hotel was just as advertised. It's a great place for a couple to spend a weekend in Trier. It's a few minutes walk to the Alstadt and within walking distances to most sites.
3.0
The hotel was all right, a bit tacky in the interior and the floor seemed abit warply. However the location is great, basically right next to the Porta Nigra, which was why we booked this hotel.

Didn’t expect too much due to the COVID-19 situation. The hotel is conveniently situated and the staff were friendly. Only gripe is that I couldn’t cool the room.
5.0
We got there early and they were very accommodating with letting us get in the room. Staff was exceptionally friendly the location is pretty unbeatable to access the central town. If you’re moderately healthy you can walk to pretty much all of the Roman ruins within 20 to 30 minutes. Room was not huge but it was very clean and the bed was comfortable. Overall, we enjoyed our stay They do offer breakfast for an additional price which we did not take part in. The parking is across the street and cost extra but is convenient and safe, it’s limited though so you should call to reserve it in advance

Only stayed one night but the room was clean and comfortable....the only drawback is the room layout is a bit confusing to locate the room.
2.0
The room was small, but clean. Hotel lobby was modern and well decorated. Only complaint was that the shower temperature fluctuated the whole time and the shower door didn’t seal, creating a miniature flood in the room.

Great location close to the center of Trier. Easy check-in and they let us check in a little early. Stayed in the building in the back so WiFi wasn’t the greatest - low connection and only in front area of room - but as we were there only one night, it wasn’t a big deal. Overall, great stay!

Central location. Comfortable rooms. Pleasant and helpful staff
1.0
Room was not as expected and needed repairs. There is not enough water pressure and when having a shower the temperature would go from ice cold to scalding hot, I don’t think they have an adequate water system for the hotel.
2.5
A modern, very well appointed, hotel located right in the middle of the best sights in town. It is an amazing deal for the money.
5.0
Great location, a few steps away from the city centre with all the shops, cafes and restaurants. Secure parking available . Check in was easy, Lesley was very pleasant and helpful. Told us all the local information that we needed to know . Very pleasant lady!
2.5
The staff was super friendly and helpful. The room had a bit of funny design with the shower right in the room, but it all seemed brand new and renovated. Location couldnt be better, right in town, near the mall and also near the train station.
4.0
We booked this property through Expedia and stated that we are a disabled couple ( my wife is in a wheelchair) and you accepted the booking , however this property isn’t accessible with steps everywhere . The hotel however moved room for us so we only had a minimum of these and they were fantastic . Expedia however needs to deal with this issue
4.0
The hotel is located in an ideal location, close to the town centre of Trier (though a bit of a walk from the main railway station). The room was clean and spacious enough, and the staff were courteous and pleasant to deal with. Only one thing to note: reception closes at night (at about 9pm, I think they said) and the front doors are locked. So try not to turn up for check-in and collect your key too late in the day.
