A fabulous apartment in a great location.

Excellent location. Spacious and with all amenities very pleasantly kitted out. Loved it

The property is fantastic. located extremely well for Princess and George Street with the apartment being well presented, clean and all the facilities needed and as described. The only area to improve on is that the property does not have air conditioning and if the weather is good the sun shines directly in and you cannot really leave the windows open due to noise emanating from Princess St

This was a great place to stay in Edinburgh. It was nice, had all updated modern amenities and centrally located to tasty restaurants and tourist locations - we walked almost everywhere. I would definitely stay there again - It was nice having a spacious studio.
A few items I read in other reviews that were helpful: 1. The office, several blocks away, will let you store your luggage until you can check in. We arrived early, so this was nice. 2. There are no elevators - This was good to know in advance. I highly recommend these apartments.

nice apartment, well equipped. lots of street noise ( most of the year probably would not matter but the weather was quite warm and we needed the windows open). We had some questions after we checked in and received no response from the company.

Great large apartment right at the bottom of the castle off Princes street. We stayed with our two young kids and they loved having the extra space. Walkable to everything.

The apartment is marvelous. Everything is in good condition and it is pretty. Really comfortable and it has everything you could need when traveling. Pretty good size and location. We would prefer that the apartment had a lift and AC. I definitely can recommend this place.

it is in walking distance to Royal Mile and Edinburgh Castle. The apartment itself is clean and well maintained. There are dining options nearby too. We enjoyed the stay.
2.5
Beautiful apartment overlooking Princess Street, couldn’t get a more central spot. Apartment was spotless, cosy and comfortable with secondary glazing which kept the noise down and underfloor heating in the bathroom. Had everything you would need for your stay with good quality bed linen and towels. Would definitely stay there again.

Stunning modern apartment. Right in the heart of Edinburgh.

Great location, great apartment, only one minor complaint, there is nowhere to hang clothes if you are there longer than a couple of nights.

Absolutely perfect ! Great location , clean place .

Excellent property in such a central location.

Beautiful studio apartment. Very well equipped and modern. Only small issue was the sewer smell coming from the shower drain, which I believe is a common issue when renovating old buildings. I simply put a bowl upside down over it when not using the shower and the problem was solved. Oh, and the mattress needs to be replaced by a real one 😉

This place was absolutely lovely! Great location, beautiful and spacious flat, so well maintained. Wish we had more time to spend here, best place we stayed during our two week holiday!
2.5
An absolutely wonderful stay in a beautiful apartment. Well appointed and spotlessly clean. What an awesome location. Everything you need is on your doorstep. Tourist attractions, fabulous restaurants and bars as well as great local Tesco. Would definitely recommend.

Well located in central Edinburgh. Easy access to the tram and buses along Princes Street. Good selection of restaurants in the area, but very busy in August.
Accommodation was good, but flat 5 did not have a wardrobe. Three doors to go through in order to access the flat, each door needed access code to open.

Both our apartments were lovely. We were overlooking princes street. Very central location. Spacious apartment, nicely decorated, plenty of toiletries in bathroom. Car parking was a 5-10 min walk away, quite expensive but we did receive a discount staying here. Would recommend and would stay again in the future.

We had a great experience! Communication with staff was prompt and professional. The apartment was wonderful and in excellent condition. Our only regret was that it was just for one night. I would certainly rent this apartment again!

Great property, and staff were very responsive and helpful in answering questions and helping (like storing luggage). We could walk to almost every tourist spot in Edinburgh in 30 minutes or less (Holyrood maybe 40 minutes). Public transportation (trams, busses) is right outside the door.
The flat was very comfortable and fitted out well (though it would have been nice to have some basics like salt & pepper, cooking oil in kitchen). It is at corner of Charlotte and Princes streets which are very busy streets. You could hear some noise, but with double windows, the street noise was pretty mild. My wife is fairly sensitive to noise, but with simple earplugs, she was fine for sleeping.
One other thing. You need to be able to climb stairs. These stairs were wide and easy to manage even with luggage, which is not always the case at other places in UK.

Destiny was great. Fantastic location and easy to check in and out of. Our room looked right at the castle. Loved it

Our stay was great! I loved the contactless check in and check out and the amenities provided in the apartment. It was in a great location, and we were able to walk most places in the city.

This is a cute little place very close to all the action in central Edinburgh. Very clean and well stocked. A few recommendations for management: give more information on operating all the plugs which have switches operating them. Americans are not used to this. I also recommend info on using the coffee maker. The management was very responsive to all my questions however. The apartment i stayed in (3) had a cool view of the castle and was two flights up. The security is excellent. The windows are double paned. I would stay there again next time but I do recommend they provide a warm blanket in addition to the duvet. It was rather cold whiIe I was there. I met some people from another apartment there who said their place did not have a closet. I think it was apartment 5. Just a heads up.

We really enjoyed our stay. The only thing I felt was unfair was that our sons paid (xmas gift) for a castle view from the apartment, and a big section of the main window was poorly boarded up spoiling the view that was paid for.

Beautiful apartment in the centre of the city. Warm and cosy with everything you need. Bed is super comfy. Not suitable for someone less mobile as quite a few stairs.

Fabulous base for visiting Edinburgh. Apartment for brilliant, with everything we needed. Traffic noise outside, which didn’t bother me as I slept like a log but woke my husband a few times. For the room price though, well worth it but maybe take ear plugs.

If you’re coming to Edinburgh for a few days, Destiny Charlotte Sq. is a great option. However, here are the pros and cons I gave my stay a pleasant and not excellent:
Pros:
- Location is excellent, you’ll be surrounded by beautiful views of the Gardens and surrounded by great food.
-Security, we felt safe as you need an access code to enter the building/apartments.
-The space is very efficient and well decorated. It has a full kitchen and living room.
-Customer service response via email is timely and clear.
Now some of our cons:
- We got the castle view apartment and a day before we arrived we were noticed that our window was broken due to “high winds.” We stayed anyways because it was too late to find another place, but we were not offered any refunds or anything. After all, we chose the location for thw specific view, and had half of it boarded up.
- While the bed is a good size, it could be a wee bit more comfortable.
- We were awakened early morning by loud hammering two out of the three nights we stayed.
Overall, I believe that the pros outweigh the cons, and if you’re looking for a centric and efficient stay in Edinburgh, this is the right place.

Great Location for walking to everything. (Sopping ; Dining; Sights)
Lack of Lift could be an issue for people with walking issues to the upper floors.
Not a convenient place for drop-off by car as it is on a busy road / corner with no convenient stopping places.

Gorgeous apartment, it had everything that we needed. Excellent communication, very safe standards and practices. Excellent area to get around the city.

A couple of days before I was due to check in, i received a message saying my card could not be charged and they would release my room if i fail to call back and provide another credit card for charging by 5pm the next day. While traveling, i did not check my emails regularly and by the time i saw the message in the evening, it was past the office hours 9am - 5pm to call back. When I called back the next day, i was first told that it was not necessary to provide a credit card. Shortly after I received another email indicating they made a mistake and needed my card. This caused a lot of anxiety for me, worrying that my booking will be released. Upon arrival, there is no check in services and the code i was given to access the place was not working. I had to try calling the emergency number for another code to access.

Awesome. Communication was excellent, very easy experience. Clean, modern, and close to everything.

We are a couple who stayed 20/6 - 22/6/22 Perfectly situated in South Charlotte St. We were given a code to access main door & apartment so no need to worry about carrying keys. The apartment was modern and very clean. It had all facilities if you wanted to cook however we only made tea/coffee during our stay. The bed was really comfy & the shower was fabulous. Although this apartment overlooked Princes St there was no noise. I would definitely stay here again- good value for money & ideally situated

The property and location itself was great, easy to access. Size of the appt was great, but my one big complaint was that we chose this property over another as it was marketed as having a King Size bed, and the bed was only a Double. We paid a bit extra to book this appt rather than other due to it having a “king” but were disappointed to find it was only a double.
Other than that, the appt itself was great as was the locations

Loved this property! Walking distance to most sites both Old Town, New Town and Waverley station. Clean and comfortable 2 bedroom suite with laundry. Perfect stay with no concerns.

Lovely apartment with everything you need. The 4k smart TV was a massive bonus when settling down for the night, highly recommend

Great stay for 2 nights. Beautiful view of the castle. Very clean and full of amenities. Little to no noise day/night which was surprising considering location. Will be staying here again for an extended Edinburgh stay. Bag drop off available 10mins walk from apartment great for arriving early morning before check in or leaving later after check out. Polite staff and easy to get hold off thank you!

Lovely, comfy flat to stay for a few days. Great location.
