Our third time staying here. Rooms clean. Nice welcome on reception, great food on offer
A lick of paint would really make a difference. Room looked so tired and dingy. These rooms are not as great a bargain as you think. So I'm sure a bit of a spruce up will not break the bank.
As mentioned before can be a bit tricky to find. Thank god for sat nav.
Also a fridge would be great.

Have stayed here before. Rooms spotless, the staff especially Valerie was very very helpful, between the French and English ww muddled through the restaurant menu.
It's so difficult to find.
Hated the bed against the wall, difficult to visit the bathroom unless you climb over you partner

We find it difficult to recall anything that we liked.
One teabag between two people, only one pillow for each person, no plug stopper for the bathroom wash basin, limited breakfast items, no bedside tables, so personal items had to remain on the floor, and the biggest problem for us was to be told the restaurant was closed, ON A Saturday Night, and be told the hotel was full so would we settle the bill at our arrival. So 40 rooms totalling around 100 people had to try to find suitable restaurants to get a meal, not a pleasant experience after driving 400 miles through France.

poor wifi and very dated

Breakfast was served between 6.30 and 9.30. We went at 8.00am. No cups left, had to ask for cups. 1 croissant and a few chocolatines. None replenished. 1 dried up piece of cheese and 1 small slice of garlic sausage. None of the meats or cheese was replenished. There was a baguette and some bread for toast, some fruit and yoghurts. Very poor choice for nearly 13 euros per person.

Basic, but spotless. Rooms were warm. Shower was excellent.
Breakfast was good. Food replenished constantly.
Place was a nightmare to find.

Room basic but comfortable and clean.
Very good location near Spanish border about 10 mins from motorway
Over 20 years Campanile has been our favourite budget hotel chain. Good locations for overnight stops. Basic but satisfactory facilities.
However the main reason was it had the best food of any budget chain: starter was always a big buffet spread of hors d'oeuvre, a good value fixed price menu, a chef's special chosen and executed by the resident cook, and a short a la carte that always included a decent steak frîtes. Alas only the fixed price remains. Decent but very limited. The hors d'oeuvre table is still there but sadly empty. The food is now dictated by accountants!

24hr open desk, clean but basic rooms.
Very rowdy especially in breakfast room, no choices left as bus load of footballers had eaten everything and when we asked for some cheese and bread got told non left. Yet we still had to pay €11.95 each.

The room was comfortable and the staff were excellent. As we only speak a little French we had fun trying to make each other understand. We invented a new language "Frenlish" The restaurant was excellent. It is the nicest Campanile we have stayed at as all the staff were so friendly and welcoming.

There really wasn’t anything.
We should have remembered we’d stayed there before, reception and restaurant was rather chaotic. The room was not as good as other Camponile’s.
6.0 / 10.0
we stayed here purely for the location as it was a stop over for our journey. the rooms were very basic and a bit tatty but the lady on reception was fabulous and couldn’t do enough to help
rooms were worn out
1.0 / 10.0
nothing it was an absolute disgrace.
the lock plate on the door was missing, the headboard on the bed was broken, the was only one electric socket, one of the towels was ripped and the bedroom did not look as though it had been cleaned before we arrived. tThe hotel advertised as having disabled facilities which we requested and were told none were available.

Bed was clean and confi, Staff where friendly, location was quiet
Breakfast was good
building very dated, floors in the room and bathroom where not clean, bathroom and room in urgent need of refurbishment,
damp walls from leaks in the bathroom
not exactly a 3 star hotel
