Uncomfortable and unforgetable experience in Henann Lagoon Resort

Staff are very warm and friendly. Breakfast Buffet menu is superb and sumptious. Room service food was well presented. Transportation from the port to the hotel are very well organized.

Feedback for Henann Lagoon Resort Boracay - Room Experience I recently stayed at Henann Lagoon Resort in Room 119, and unfortunately, my experience was impacted by several issues related to room cleanliness and furnishings. Upon checking into Room 119, I encountered a large cockroach that fell onto my bed, which was unsettling. While the staff was responsive to my request for a room transfer, and I was moved to Room 111, both rooms had older bed frames that creaked with every movement, making it challenging to get a comfortable night’s rest. In Room 111, we were bitten by mosquitoes, which we managed to address it by killing 4 mosquitos in all! Hopefully we won’t be getting a Dengue! It really detracted from the overall experience. The location of Room 111, with its direct pool access, was ideal; however, the older, creaky furnishings and presence of insects made the stay less enjoyable. Lighting of both rooms especially in the bathroom are not well lit. Location: Beware! No beach access!… you need to walk 2 blocks from the hotel to pass a small road leading to the beach front. About 10 -15 minutes walk going to the beach front.. The small road access is dark when you walk at night so watch out for sharp objects such as sharp rocks and some garbage on the side road. Suggestions for Improvement: • Furniture Updates: Consider updating or refurbishing older furniture, particularly bed frames , to eliminate creaky sounds and ensure a more comfortable stay and re upholstering the chairs that shows visibly old and stained fabric , • Enhanced Pest Control: Ensuring thorough pest control would improve the comfort and cleanliness of the rooms. With some upgrades, the resort could better align its room quality with its beautiful setting.

Wonderful despite weather challenges but our last day was a gift with the syn shining brightly.

It is clean and well maintained. The staff are super friendly and helpful. They are very accommodating as well, which we truly appreciate.

The trash bin outside i think is a bit small. Trivial really, but nice if something could be done.

De Barman Dennis was een fijn personeelslid. Hij kon leuke dingen vertellen, en we raakte erg goed bevriend met hem. Daarnaast vonden we de poolbar een enorme aanwinst

Dat we geen yogurt konden krijgen bij het ontbijt. Maar het ontbijt zelf was helemaal goed. Maar wij zijn nu eenmaal gewend Yogurt te eten als ontbijt

It’s true to its rating 5star experience.

Excellent staffs, professional, helpful. Rooms were massive, clean, complete with toiletries. Loved the bathtub design with clear glass .

Nothing everything was above my expectations. We will definitely stay again on our next family holiday in the Philippines.

Outstanding. Sad to leave.

Lovely spacious room. Wonderful pool with plenty of shaded areas. Swim up bar. Excellent food, large portions. Massage in room or poolside. Coffee machine in room. Very friendly and attentive staff. Ice cold water from dispensers. Very clean. Air con in room was very good.

Breakfast could be better, finally had loganisa on our last day though.

Our first time in Boracay and our stay was so satisfactory which help us to enjoy our vacation.

The property is really beautiful and nice. The staff are friendly and courteous. They offered us to upgrade for pool access and we love it. The breakfast buffets were good but fell short of some traditional Filipino silogs.

I wish they have double queen beds available. Laundry service is very expensive.

Pedantic check out left US feeling underwhelmed

Privacy of pool and location of room overlooking pool We were checked in early because of our baby which was most kind

When they carried out inventory room check, they claimed to have said we took towels and whilst inadvertently we had between 5 of us packed along with our own white towel products,belonging to us, they still claimed we had more..I was also charged 100 pesos for bon return of my room key card which I found after and they claimed they couldn't refund despite the fact I a had to pay a fee for missing towel items which to this day I stand by we did not take..I don't really think they were in the rooms at the start but for 170 I didn't argue and they didn't deduct 100 for return of my card..it's not the cost obviously more the principal so overall my stay with my family was marred by this on our leaving the hotel, which was overall very enjoyable clean and better than the Hennan resort and spa who were less helpful and fussy over let cards though they were left in the room for power

We had a very nice holiday at Henann Lagoon Resort. We'll recommended. Excellent place.

We arrived early before check-in and our bedrooms were already ready for us. Henann Lagoon Resort is a very nice holiday relaxation from the spacious airconditioned bedrooms, very clean and nice swimming pools where you can enjoy a nice drinks from the bar pool. It is also nice to swim on different time of the day until evening and its not crowded. I booked 3 rooms from England for my family and I with balcony where we all enjoyed an evening together at the balcony or by the pool area. Good short distance beaches with lots of restaurants too. The Staffs were very welcoming and helpful. We also enjoyed the scrumptious breakfast buffet from the resort with loads of very yummy choices.

We had lunch not long when we arrived on first day. The food were delicious but service was very slow. We waited for long for our food. Drinks were nice.

A really nice hotel with superb staff

Staff are really nice . Breakfast was really good . Location is ok , i walked to beach everyday which was fine but my wife wasnt, struggles on long walk .

Nice place with super friendly stuff

The personnel of the hotel was super friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and everything was taking care of quickly when requested. The choices at breakfast table were sufficient and well prepared. The roomsize was according to the expectations with nice big bathroom.

The breakfast can get busy after eight oclock so it might take some time to get the table. Did not bother us sine we were up quite early.

Aside from the noise issue, I’d still rate my stay 10/10 as I liked everything.

I like the breakfast buffet, there’s variation. The staff are very nice and greets you every time, very accommodating as well. The room is also nice, I have everything I needed

Rooms aren’t soundproof. You can pretty much hear noises from the outside. My room is facing pool view so can hear people shouting from the pool. There was maintenance (drilling and hammering sounds) in the morning so if you’re planning to sleep and stay in, definitely a nuisance. I commend the staff tho for addressing it quickly when I raised it but then after maybe 2 hrs, noise came back haha so I just went out bc I couldn’t sleep in peace. There should be an FYI prior to booking for any maintenance/construction works due to noises.

Everything was wonderful.. Breakfast - a full buffet with lots of choices. Great view sitting outside along the pool. Staff were expectional - friendly and willing to help.

Overall, it was worth it!

the pool at the bar was very pretty, their cheeseburger was amazing, the view of my room by the pool was the best during sunsets!

The location was not that far from the beach, but it would’ve been better if the hotel has their own alley, where only Henann guests would walk at to go to the beach. The small street was kinda scary at night if you are only girls!

Disappointing

It was just ok, but didn't live up to the high standard we expected of Hennan.

In Boracay there is a lack of space generally but we definitely felt claustrophobic in the hotel with tables and chairs so close together, having to wait for people to pass, general crush for breakfast, etc. The breakfast was disappointing for a European palate with very little choice - they didn't even have bacon. The service was very poor. We tried to get a drink in the afternoon but gave up after being ignored several times. There's a bar in the middle of the pool but it was constantly unmanned. The room had been redecorated but daubing yellow paint over old woodwork just looks cheap.

The room was nice and spacious. Bed was comfortable.

Noise management is really horrible. I complained maybe 3 or 4 times about noise from the above floor that seemed like furniture movement in all hours of the day and night! It could've been. A ghost or room construction! I lost sleep from it!
