Desconexión y descanso

Nos alojamos en una casita en el jardín, fue una experiencia distinta que disfrutamos mucho y descansamos muy bien. El desayuno muy completo, la piscina con unas mesitas y hamacas muy cómodas. El personal muy amable.

Relax absoluto

Precioso entorno con un personal de excepción. Atentos y amables en todo momento. La habitación renovada con unas camas cómodas y un mobiliario completo que te hace sentir como en casa. El desayuno completo y exquisito. Una piscina maravillosa! Y zonas ambientadas para que tú puedas llevar tu comida y comer allí. No se puede esperar más ha sido una estancia perfecta!.

Glampies 5 estrelas

Recomendo vivamente experenciarem os Glampies(bangaló) somos uma família de 4, 2 adultos 2 crianças,os glampies não são muito grandes o suficiente pra uma família de 4 por ex. Mas pra um casal com 1 filho peq acho perfeitamente suficiente. O pequeno almoço é de uma variedade incrível, A piscina é de água salgada uma maravilha,por isso recomendo este hotel muita natureza muita paz e sossego.

Recomendaria que na piscina tivesse guarda- sois pois a tarde é totalmente impossível estar ao sol.

If your key doesn't work, you'll sleep outside.

The croissants/bread was really good and fresh somedays.

The noise of the AC's from the outside is unbearable. We've asked for a quiet room and we couldn't sleep due to the noise. We've tried to contact the hotel, but there is no one to help you from 23h-8h. Good luck. The room had a lot of humidity and the WC extractor sounds like a truck, but doesn't extract anything. Regarding to safety, the glass doors gives to exterior and there is no security during the night. The breakfast room is a hole, with a small window, very noisy and no ventilation. The crepes are stored on the fridge from one day to the other.

Not good value for money

It was near the river.

The smell in the room that came from the toilet. The mattress was extremely uncomfortable. The staff was not very kind or respectful of silence.

Really great place

The room, pool and place are really nice. The staff was great and the breakfast was very tasty with lots of things to choose from. Of course, the town of Ponte de Lima is wonderful and the river is great to paddle on.

Lovely country feel accommodation

Country accommodation in a beautiful setting, nice to be able sit outside at tables on the lawn overlooking the lovely pool. Room basic but had all we needed. Excellent restaurant next door, not part of the hotel, but great not to have to travel to one after a long day of driving.

Just a wonderful experience I would most definitely recommend to the most discerning of travellers.

SIMPLY EXCEPTIONAL !!! From the moment I arrived and was greeted by Maria, I knew I was in for an amazing quality experience and I certainly was not disappointed. Everything about this unique property is inspirational! From Maria's warm and friendly welcome and introductory tour of the property, the attention to comfort (the bed was so comfortable) to the luxurious decor, immaculate bathroom, the lounges and library, botanic grounds, delicious breakfast selections and the many 6 Star facilities. I felt as though I was staying in a Grand Singaporean Manor House. If you appreciate luxury and happen to be in the area of Ponte de Lima, Northern Portugal, you simply MUST try the wonderful experience of staying here. Yes, it is a small distance away from Ponte de Lima but the benefits of staying at Hotel Rural Solar das Arcadas outweigh any inconveniences that may exist and gives you the wonderful opportunity to enjoy the tranquility of being away from the tourist crowds.

The only thing that could have been better was if I was able to stay for much longer 😁. But, I'll definitely be back!

Comfortable hotel not far from the river Lima and a swimming space in the river.

Located in a quiet area and not far from a place where you can swim in the river. There is a bus that goes past sometimes if you need to get here without public transport. Good breakfast and medium sized swimming pool. Loungers by the pool. Generally a comfortable space. Staff were helpful in giving me breakfast earlier when I had to leave early in the morning.

I imagined the grounds to be a bit bigger. Would have been nice to have a small fridge in the room and some tea-making facilities, though one could get some hot water in the breakfast area if one asked.

It was a welcome place to recover after walking from Barcelos on the Camino.

The location is about 8km outside of Ponte de Lima, which took us off the Camino route but the facilities were very good, with very welcome air conditioning after walking from Barcelos in 30 degrees plus temperature. There is also a swimming pool. The receptionist was friendly and helpful.

The only drawback was the distance from Ponte de Lima and the Camino route, but that was our choice. Also, there did not appear to be a bar for cold refreshments.
