Perfect quiet town and lovely hotel, not in Como, but very close

Room was lovely and very comfortable, with a nice view. Location perfect, very a stone's throw away from the train station. Walkable distance to what was the town centre - and also cross over to the Italian border. Didn't book breakfast, but they offered us nonetheless. Lovely croissants and coffee. :)

Short overnight stay traveling by train. Great location.

Restaurants for dinner were scarce as it was a Sunday and everything was closed.

All is perfect in this hotel! The hotel is situated near the railway station and bus stop, the restaurant is wonderful, the dishes from chef are gorgeous! Beautiful design! The excellent service! Special thanks to the master of the hotel! So wonderful person is really difficult to meet nowadays! We will come back here again and advise this beautiful place to all our friends!

All in all a nice play to stay close to basic amenities and just 1 train stop away from busy Como!

This place is an old fashioned hotel, looking like it's coming from the 80's! However, it is very clean and staff very friendly. The location is very good as it's just across the train station and for someone like us who could not stay in Como, it's ideal to choose. Would also recommend to people who would want to avoid the crowds in Como. We usually do not include breakfast, so I do not have anything to say about it.

Only the fact that it's very oldish and a renovation would bump it up, but other than that nothing to note!

Warmest welcome comfortable stay

I cannot fault anything with this hotel, locaton was right at the boarder exactly what I wanted, yes was slightly noisey at night but hey that outweighed the warmest welcome we received when we arrived followed by the warmest welcome over breakfast. We were too late to have dinner but if the breakfast is to go by im sure it would be great I was also so surprised to see Rituals bath products which is a famous Dutch brand !

I cant say I didnt like it but I feel maybe the rooms need a little bit of charachter, they are quiet basic considering the bathroom products! :)

Very nice location, friendly personnel, ok breakfast for the money. We found the parking place just between the train station and the police station - it was free of charge (weekend time), but we didn't find a parkmeter there anyway. The place feels quite calm regardless being next to the train station.

Even though the hotel is non-smoking, in the corridors there was a very disturbing cigarette smoke smell that penetrated into the room when the window was opened to aerate. Breakfast served by the hotel personnel due to covid.
