Great value for money in Canggu

Great value for money and had all the basic facilities we needed: hot water, AC, a kettle and secure. Room and bed sheets nice and clean. Location was on the edge of being too far from places but was okay for us, was a good 30 min walk to the beach

Nothing major - only thing was the dog at the Homestay barked a lot at night and whenever you entered the Homestay grounds.

NICE BALINESE CONCEPT WITH COMFORTABLE BED

1. The balinese concept of their bungalow. 2. The comfortable bed. 3. The regular bedsheet change. 4. The free drinking water. 5. The staff could wait for my payment. 6. The location. 7. The pleasant conversation with the host prior my arrival.

1. Some items like kitchen items, windows, floors need some clean up and maintenance. 2. For it's price, toiletries should be available. 3. For it's price, a good incense should be available to add up with their balinese concept.

Get what you pay for. Nice staff. Balcony was good.

Pictures on booking.com did not reflect to room it’s very very outdated, one of the walls next to the bed had awful water marks. Room very tired and needs a good touching up. Didn’t feel overly clean, found cockroach in the bathroom and lots of fruit flies. Had a mosquito net over bed which was good but it didn’t fit all the way round the bed. Bathroom door would scrape along the floor, hard to open and close and super noisy. People staying upstairs were banging around 2am in the morning kept us awake. Also their is dogs on sight if you aren’t keen on dogs I would keep this in mind as they are a bit intimidating when barking at you especially at night when no one is around.

excellent spacious quiet room, warm / cold shower, roomservice every day, open kitchen, near main road which does not disturb because the room is located away ftom the road, very nice staff

We stayed at bugalow....kooking equipmwnt provided....a REAL KINGSIZE bed with muscitonet....ala nica and quiet...a good value for money...

Apart from the maintenance, the room is very nice.

the concept of a Joglo house and all is wonderful

The room should be more maintained by cleaning it thoroughly so there are no cowebs , stains and streaks in the kitchen. A lot of dirt and dust on the windows which if maintained would be nice and clean

Disappointing

Good price, not in the centre but only 5/10 minutes by bike to main restaurants and beach, big supermarkets really nearby. If you stay only 1 night it’s ok, but our 4 nights were too long for this accommodation.

Photos of the hotel made a long time ago and don’t show the real picture. Our bungalow had dirty floor, in the kitchen everything was dirty too. We couldn’t normally sleep because of noise from the street and barking of local dogs.

I think you can find better places to stay

the room is spacious, the mosquito net is handy, the bed was comfortable.

The bathroom was in really bad condition. We decided not to use the shower . Also the toilet paper was left right on top of the trash can so the paper was nasty.

Nice staff and hot water

The location is good and the staff were very nice. It has hot water which is a big plus.

My room was in the third floor and it was a bit annoying to get the baggage up and down but not a big deal. Room could use some cleaning as well.

nothing

everything! pictures are not showing the truth. the bathroom is a dark dirty hole. dogs barking at you all the time and all the night, like literally everytime someone shows up at the entrance. the sad thing is we booked here because of price and the good rating on booking and ended up disappointed. Maybe it was a decent place before COVID but now it’s far away from that. I don’t wanna bash this homestay but I want to be honest to other travelers.

Really good.

Super friendly, would definitely recommend staying here! The rooms all have A/C, big beds and nice showers. The upstairs rooms are the best, with the big balconies and small personal fridges. It's a short drive from the center and it's not near the road so no noise from the traffic.

The kitchen could've been a bit cleaner and had more ammenities (plates, saucepans, etc.). It could've been nice to organise more events so that people can meet eachother easier (I personally was alone and didn't really meet anyone else), but great if that's what you're looking for.

bathroom was really ugly and dark, I was not able to see myself in the mirror. also no seperation between shower and toilet, everything gets wet. There are 3 dogs and they always bark. Woke me up couple times in the morning

moldy and noisy

- located on Batu Bolong

- it was extremely moldy - sheets were smeeling moldy - bathroom sink was full of mold - mosquito net was disgusting - it was so noisy (all kind of noise: streets, animals, water pump or generator idk, all mixed together - bed is uncomfortable - the garden isn’t even looked after Pictures are not reflecting reality. I am an experienced traveler, I am ok to be in more « simple » installations once in a while, but this one was way to much expensive for what we got.
