A wonderful stay at great value

The hotel was beautiful, as was our room. It had a lovely little balcony overlooking the town. It was all the best bits of a classic Italian hotel room, but with a modern feel. All very clean. The owners were friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again!

It was about halfway up the cliff so lots of stairs to get to/from the beach. There’s a bus stop for the local bus right outside though.

VillaVerde is a sweet BnB just a short walk from the SITA bus pick up/drop off that looms above the glorious Positano mainland. The room was fine with a small terrace, a simple but effective breakfast was provided and everything was great. Just wish the hosts could have been a bit friendlier upon check in.

Perfect stay at a reasonable price in Positano

This is a great option at a more reasonable price for staying in Positano. The location is great for the bus from other towns. The staff were very friendly and super helpful. It also has an amazing balcony!

We were aware so this was not an issue for us but there are ALOT of steps to get to the property from the main area of Positano. There is an internal Positano bus that runs which can drop you off right beside the property however during busy summer months this is hard to get due to queues.

Great location and spacious room!

Beautiful traditional Italian design. The balcony was the highlight!

Breakfast included was only bread, coffee & juice. I would suggest not including if you are a big breakfast eater.

Hidden Gem. Ideal for couples on a budget

This place is in a great part of the town with fantastic views. There’s bars, shops and restaurants 5 minutes up the road which is easy enough to walk to and the same down the road. The beach is about a 15/20 minute walk down hill and is well sign posted. I would advise getting a taxi back up like us for a flat rate of $25 (your legs will thank you)

Very enjoyable and will likely come back in the near future!

Our stay at villaverde was amazing, the breakfast in the mornings was simple yet delicious, and the staff were very welcoming and helpful in giving us information to navigate Positano. There was a private staircase that we could use to make the walk to the beach quite short too (15mins).

Superb

Incredible view, good Italian breakfast, very nice family running the property. Location is great, a quick walk to center of town, and very accessible to bus stops for Amalfi coast transportation and navigating within Positano. Amazing terraces too!

would not stay again

room is quite pretty and the view is pretty nice :) there is a terrace with city and a bit sea view, and also there is the parking option available, for 20€/night.

bathroom: like a hostel. shower is separated by the rest of a bathroom only by a curtain which sticks on you and the water temperature has it’s own personality. the owner did not let me have the coffee on my balcony as is “against rules” to have the coffe in your room; the breakfast has the worse pastery&coffee that I’ve had in Italy. besides that you get bread and marmelade. al this is that very expensive area where you pay 2-3 times more than anywhere else in Italy… the view was ok but not the best as there are other buildings to the sea and the walk to the beach is pretty long and hard while returning.

The view is just amazing. We had our own small balcony in our room which was beautiful. Each morning we went and got breakfast on the top balcony with another great view. The staff was all super nice and helpful.

Comfortable stay near to the center of Positano with a lovely balcony view!

The view is amazing, especially when having a drink at the balcony at night or a lovely breakfast in the morning The host is very kind and helpful! It is very near to the bus station.

The staff is not very helpful, they don’t speak English and also the reception is not 24h open so if you are going to come back late take you keys or you will be stuck at reception.
