Very Run Down place , Access was difficult but understandable. Rooms were in bad shape . AC was blowing Warm air, seems like its An Italian Thing . We stayed at many different places and Everyone had AC issues. Coffee Kettle in Room had Calcium deposits at the tip and was Dirty,So didn’t use it. Breakfast buffet was good but only opened at 7:30. People planning early Trips have no access to Coffee early. Will Stay in a better Place next Time .

Lovely hotel in a quiet area but very close to St. Mark’s square. Room was very clean and comfortable and breakfast was excellent. Would recommend.

Appreciated the old world charm of the hotel. Loved seeing the gondolas travel under the bridge to the hotel

Great hotel and very nice staff. It has that old Venice feel that you might like being in Venice. Great breakfast which was included and the location is perfect. Right next to the main spots in Venice. Def recommend.

Old beautiful property- not air conditioned enough for our liking but welcome to Europe- nothing is😂 t
Water transfers were easy- we walked everywhere and it was rare to find a place that accommodated 4 people in one room!

Staff very good, but feel they are understaffed.
The Terrace Bar has no permanent staff and you have to wait a very long to get service.
We had an upgrade.

A run down hotel within walking distance of San Marco but in a rather ugly corner of Venice. They have 2 buildings, we were in the one without reception and it was quite a poor facility for a family of 4. We only had 2 queen beds. The building was undergoing construction so quite noisy and it was a rat trap in case of a fire. I am not sure it complied with regulations. The breakfast was poor as well and the service average. We will not return.

Absolutely very nice small hotel in Venice . Would always return . We loved the staff , the free breakfast and vicinity to all main attractions . Price was not bad at all .

The property is located at a very convenient location but the room needs cleaning.

Gave impression of being understaffed. Terrace bar not manned. Difficulty with getting service at the bar.
On arrival/departure no help available to assist with luggage up and down the stairs to the hotel
Very friendly staff
Breakfast adequate.

We were in the annexe. Our room was very large, with a seperate dressing area and bathroom area. Included kettle tea and coffee and mini bar. Very comfy bed and extra seating was nice to have too. Would benefit from having bed side lamps. Had a few access passcode issues to enter in the evening but other wise was a perfect stay with a great location!

This hotel had old European charm in the heart of Venice. The staff was very accommodating in helping us find dining locations and baggage transfers over the canals and bridges encountered in getting to their location. The breakfast buffet was extensive and compared favorably to American facilities.

A little run down

A wonderful time in a beautiful hotel. The location was amazing and “walkable” to anywhere you would want to go. I had a problem with my room but hotel reacted quickly and I continued with my amazing stay at Ca’Dei Conti. Staff was a large part of my high rating. Front desk folks were always pleasant and accommodating (except for one).

Good location, easy access to St Marks and San Zaccaria. Older property but attentive staff.

Breakfast was great and the pancake maker was a hit. Our room was quiet and large and had a sitting area, but it was across the bridge from the main hotel. We had to use three separate keys to get in, which was annoying. The location is conveniently near San Marco, but the streets twist and turn so I always had to use Google maps to find our way back.

Loved the hotel suite. Being VIP member they gave us an upgrade. Breakfast quality was top class.
Only issue was there is no Central AC and even in March room was really hot. Front desk was rude when asked for help. First they denied that room being hot and I had to tell them what the reading says then the guy rudely said we can’t do anything about it and hung up. We opened the windows and it cooled down the room. Guy was not patient enough to give that simple suggestion.
But other than that the room was great and the stay was nice 👍

"Hotel Ca' Dei Conti in Venice, Italy, is an exceptional value-for-money choice, particularly suited for tourists. Its location is unbeatable, being within walking distance from major attractions, restaurants, and shopping areas.
Our stay in a quadruple room with two double beds was outstanding, easily one of the best accommodations for a party of four. Our room had two sections - a nice sitting area with pantry and cooking range with refrigerator followed by a massive bedroom that could easily fit 6 queen beds.
The room's cleanliness, spaciousness, and maintenance were top-notch, meeting even the high standards of my family, who are particularly meticulous about cleanliness.
The front desk staff (Mr. John) deserve special mention for their constant warmth and readiness to assist guests, enhancing our overall experience.
Our price included breakfast which included both hot and cold items with freshly made cappuccino and lattes.
Do not be deceived by the hotel's modest exterior or compact lobby. For tourists, the essential factors are convenience, cleanliness, and comfort - the '3 Cs.' On these criteria, Hotel Market Urban scores a perfect 10/10. This establishment truly understands and delivers on the needs of its guests."

Unwelcoming staff and not very helpful. Room was disappointing.

Like: It’s near the attractions.
Dislike: The bearded receptionist is not tourist-friendly. He was probably too condescending or racist. He should be thought how to be polite to people. While speaking with us, I heard him mention the word “puta” to the other receptionist. I hope it doesn’t mean the same in Spanish. The other guys were nice.

John at the front desk was very helpful when my cell phone was stolen.

Went as a solo traveller stayed in new annex building just round corner from main hotel room was clean bathroom was more than ample and had bedroom at split level which was great windows overlooking the canal. Breakfast had some hot and cold options and good coffee couldn’t ask for more. Had a great stay staff were very attentive and friendly, close to at marks and great restaurants and shops. Felt very safe and well looked after. Would definitely plan to come back again. 😊

Lovely hotel, very central .

Perfect located. Our room was too small. Everything was clean and we really enjoyed the aircondition. The breakfast was very continental but a nice lady kept it so that everything was available at any time. We would go back anytime to that hotel. Next time we will check for a bigger room.
