The location is amazing and the place is very special, right in the middle of the tea plantations. The personal is nice and support you on organizing tours around the area.
Good in general. Just mentioning that you don't have all the services available at walking distance, but that's also what makes it cool.

Excellent location, helpful staff , good spacious rooms with superb views, Excellent breakfast. We enjoyed our stay.
No AC, no ventilation in room. Suggest placing mosquito nets on at least one window as it is impossible to keep windows open at night due to insects.

Food was tasty and good. Location was good.
It's not value for money. It is too costly.

Location. View from the balcony. Exterior of the building. Breakfast was ok.
The interior is SO rundown. It was dirty everywhere- from floors to balcony, chairs, curtains
and most important- bed sheets, pillowcases!! It seamed they were not changed for a while.. So dirty. They changed it, but it was disgusing:( And spiderwebs in the corners.. It’s so sad, because this hotel could be so nice..:(

The location is incredible, remote and beautiful with much wildlife to view.
The breakfast is brought to you at the table, there is no buffet. The head waiter is lovely and helpful. The food is good.
The hotel is styling itself as a Boutique, destination hotel. We originally booked this thinking it was a Heritage style hotel. In truth the management have changed rooms to appear modernised but our room hadn't been finished of in several ways.

The location of the hotel was nice - between thd tea plantation which gave pleasant look.
This is little away from town - approach road needs to be good.

The staff is quick to fix issues and helpful. Restaurant food is good and affordable. Breakfast is provided and very tasty. Good price.
When we got to the room, the sheets and towels were dirty and we had to get new ones. This might be a 'mistake' but the room had clearly been serviced (the bed was made) and the dirty items not replaced. This implies they cleaned the room but did a poor job. The building seems like it is still be renovated. The drive up to the hotel is difficult for the cab drivers especially the hump going into the check in area. Please fix this as it could easily damage a smaller vehicle. Location is sub optimal and is not really in Munnar city as the listing made me think.
I often hear that such complaints originate because of differences between American and Indian standards but I think this is a weak excuse. Everyone wants a clean hotel room.

This used to be a beautiful house.
The location in the middle of tea plantations is nice.
The house is run down and in need of some renovations.
The rooms and bathrooms weren’t clean.
There is mold on the walls.
The pictures on booking need updating.

The stay looked exactly how they've described on their website. The rooms were neat and clean.Food was Good but not very tasty. The ambience was just too good and had a very relaxing weekend.
The food was not really tasty, the pasta I had ordered was too soupy and did not have flavours in it. The breakfast was good but the food wasn't tasty.

The place , staffs and mainly the food was awesome...

The location, scenary and the sound of waterfall.
Bathroom door was not able to close. The extra bed was more like a patients bed.

The location is superb. We loved the English touch to the architecture of the property. The view from the room to the tea garden is so scenic that each day you would want to extend your stay for another day :). Special appreciation to staff Swanoop who served us good food on time and helped us with everything. Rooms are well lit with natural light and at the same time gives cozy comfort during day and night. We liked the simple and feel good room interiors. There are many bigger hotel/resort properties around Tea Harvester. But in our viewpoint none of those properties blended well with the scenic nature of Munnar like this property. Appreciate the effort! We also enjoyed the mud road to the property through the tea garden. Driving the vehicle through that pathway was very enjoyable :)
There is nothing that we could say we didn't like.
