Nice big outdoor garden, dining room and kitchen available to use. Showers were clean
Short bus ride into town, good cheaper alternative place to stay at if you want to do day trips around the Alsace region. Mulhouse itself needs 2 hours tops
Lights in the bathroom are on a very short timer so you’re left swinging your arm about to catch the sensor in the middle of showering 😂
Was originally put in the wrong room but they changed me quickly- however I did notice the first room had lockers which would have been nice in all rooms. Could have been more sockets to charge things
4.0
The (closed) bicycle park, and the location in a rather nice environment.
Wifi signal was rather weak in my room and some other places.
3.5
It was a decent hostel.
Cleanliness.
3.0
The people - Kind, helpful
The facility - Tolerably stay, no socket near the beds, toilets are not clean

I was given a room with three other people.
We couldn't sleep as the third person was snoring all the night.
After three hours of horrible continuing snoring.
At 2 o'clock Comed down to the reception to complaint about it.
The young guy was not just rude but impolite and didn't care that we can not sleep, as I have a flight at 8 o'clock.
The answer was either to sleep in couch in the lobby, pay a full room or leave.
I didn't wanted to argue with so I did move to the couch, but there was a big group of young people who were screaming, playing music loudl I went and talked with them gently.
After a tense discussion the reception boy, he agreed to give me secretly a room down stairs next to the restaurant,it was also so loud but at least no snoring.
In this establishment, what I have witnessed, is there is no discipline or respect to the other guests but only arrogance and lack of education and éthique from the guy who works at nights and the kids there.
End up sleeping three hours.
Hopefully the staff will start to apply order and respect in this auberge.
It's true it's a cheap place but it's not for free.

The price is unbeatable. I liked the lockers in the room and the heating option.
As well as there is a big common space near the kitchen when you can study and work remotely. The space is very quiet and calm. There is a restaurant on the other side of the street, one minute walking. The room was clean.
The toilets were on the other side of the corridor, no toilets inside the room.
The staff wasn't so nice nor welcoming as I felt it.
The bus/tram station to the city center is not so close, it is 8-9 minutes walking.
Not a lot of cafés in the area, you should go to the city center if you want to grab a coffee and it is 15-20 minutes by walking&tram.

The beds are comfortable, the facilities are mostly clean and it is quiet at night. Even though the whole hostel is very basic, value for money is pretty good.
Breakfast is very correct and not too expensive.
The kitchen is a bit too small for cooking. The lockers are too small for most luggage.

People with the light on watching videos out loud and eating chips the whole night making lots of noises

Breakfast was fine.
No spare key to the individual kitchen - If you put your things in and someone doesnt return the key fast enough, you can’t get in. We wanted for an hour to get our stuff.
We had another problem - ordered a childrens bed and we couldn’t build it (it was broken). The reception was not willing to help us.

The hostel is very affordable and offers everything you need for a nice stay.
The beds are comfortable, the female dorm has an own shower and a sink in the room.
Towels are provided. The rooms have thick curtains.
An extra females-only bathroom can be found around the corner, on the other side of the hallway.
The staff is very friendly and helpful.
The tram station is only a few walking minutes away.
A small food-shop is just accross the street and there are a some bars/restaurants nearby...
For the sporty ones - there are some sport courts behind the hostel.
Breakfast can be booked, but you can also use the kitchen to prepare your own food, and to store your food in the fridge.
When the windows are open, it can be loud.... I recommend ear-plugs!
In summer it can be very warm.
The 4-bed room had only two lockers, way too narrow to fit a suitcase. Practical only to hang some clothes and to store some things in it, smaller bags or a rucksack.
Make sure you check the time-tables when the trams leave... if they drive at a certain time at all.
Otherwise it takes about 45 minutes walk to reach the city center / the train station on foot. .... or the other way around.
Not so much fun, if you have much to carry and/or to catch a train/a bus on time.

guests were very noisy n th room wasn’t soundproof

Good wifi in rooms. Clean bed sheets and clean common parts (kitchen, showers, WC). Good coffee for breakfast. The temperature was quite warm and comfortable in the room. Well-situated, close to a tram station.
The breakfast is really poor and disappointing: 5 euros for no fruits and no vegetables, 2 kind of very cheap cereals, only some jam and yoghurt, a croissant or some bread, fruit juices / coffee.
Bad design choices a bit everywhere:
- the room had a sink and a shower, but the shower is extremely bad "configured": you cannot take a shower without flooding the entire room.
- in the common showers, there is nothing to hang our belongings inside the cabin, not even a hook for the towel.

Second time in 3 days, All is great in this hostel. For that price you cant talk anything bad about it. Really enjoy here.
3.0
Most definitely, it was clean, although room had a strange smell, stuff really cleaned it regularly and it was nice. I saw some of the people were unsatisfied with location, don't know why because location is great, you need 350m to the Tram that can take you in 5-7minutes anywhere in the city and it goes regularly and it's affordable. Location and cleanness great.
The room concept is weird and non functional. One bathroom that doesn't even have sink to wash hands after the "job". So I have to turn the lights off, and open and close two doors until I get to the room and wash my hands. The bath shower in the room is way to small and unpractical in many ways, because of the steam in the room, because of the water spilled around the shower, because you don't have a place to hang at least towel and so on... That's a big minus. And third thing, really big too, even I know it is not 3-4-5 star hotel, at least give people soup for 1€... They don't give you soup or shampoo. I know it's a hostel but that is way cheap stuff and it takes a lot off mind of the guests and it's practical. I was in the winter, and I saw the building, I think in the summer is like in oven, but I haven't had that experience. I hope you guys are going to adopt some of the things at least..

Really reasonably priced in the east of France.
I think passenger satisfaction is not important for this hostel. The hostel was not bad, but those who stayed there were not travelers or tourists. While I think maybe there was too room, there were five or six of us in a room during Corona.

Staff friendly and helpful, bed was comfortable. Place was very clean.
Shower was quite poor, would have liked some meat or cheese for the breakfast.
4.5
Very clean and functional hostel. Great for a cheap night sleep. Which was my goal for the stay, as I had an early morning train connection. The social parts were bit sad. If ur looking for a fun hostel, this probably isn't the best choice.
Niver design for the social areas with more options to drink and eat. Only a vending machine was available, with limited choice and only accepting coins. Bit outdated concept.
