It was decently clean, in a good location. The bed was big and comfortable. The owner was very friendly and helped us out with finding our way to the closest free beach. Very close to both the train station and the main shopping street with lots of nearby restaurants/cafes.
Walls were NOT soundproof and you could hear people come in and out of the building even very late or very early. The breakfast was not the best. Everyday the same and only consisted of one croissant per person, and not much else. Every morning coffee was offered which would have been delightful however the coffee machine and milk steamer were in a state. Old and dried up milk was on the steamer as it was not wiped down between uses. The “kitchen” was very out of date and basic. Some towels had weird stains and some even had holes.

The balcony and location was very nice. And the air conditioning was also nice.
The internet didn’t work. There was mold in the shower. Super thin walls. Also remember to bring a 20 cent coin for the elevator.

The staff was friendly. Wifi was not bad. The location was good.
We chose Salernoway because of the good ratings. I want to ask everyone who wrote that the breakfast was very good. Really? Cheap croissants with a cup of coffee are considered a very good breakfast?
The room was so cold and wet that we tried to use air conditioning, but it did not help. It was impossible to sleep, because of the cold.
Our room had a bathroom, but we could not take a shower because the douche was broken. Besides that, the water was stagnant.
Looking at the photos you expect light rooms, renovated. But the reality is extremely different. The room was dark, wet, and bad smelling, with very old windows and doors, with clean but very old bed sets and towels.
As we caught cold we decided to leave a day earlier, paying nevertheless for 3 days instead of the 2 we actually spent there.
Now I do not believe comments and ratings. There should be a way to prove them. Very bad experience and an interrupted vacation.

Nice accomodation close to train and bus station, also close to the city beach and the main Corso Vittorio Emanuele. Comfortable and spacious room.
Something very noisy in the bathroom behind the walls. Not sure what was it, some water tank, or something like that. Also very uncomfortable showering due to completely broken shower head. Water splashed up to the ceiling.

Donato is an excellent host - providing lots of information about good, local restaurants, transport options, etc. No request was too difficult. He even booked a taxi for us for our late ferry departure, and offered to store our bags. The room was spacious with a lovely private balcony, the breakfast was very good. Location is excellent- close to train station, waterfront and old town. Quiet room.
Nothing.

Spacious room.
Nice pasta restaurant just across the street.
Too expensive in summer. You actually pay for the region it's in.
Noone is there when you check in till the morning after.
Breakfast made of cheap low-quality stuff. Looks like the kind you buy at Lidl. For the price paid one expects something decent. I find that shameful.

We stayed one night in there. The room
was clean and we had everything what we needed with our two kids (2 year and 4 year)
The location of the property was centre of Salerno. The kitchen located next room and next morning the owner Mr. Donato had prepared fresh croissants for breakfast. Thank You again for everything!
We really enjoyed our stay there!
The elevator was quite tiny :)

The B&B is in a great location, 2-3 minutes by foot from the train station and bus terminal. We took the bus to towns on the Amalfi coast everyday, so the location was fantastic for us. It is right at the main street with all of the shops and restauraunts, and very close to the old town with lots of sights. The promanade and the beach are also very close. The host was absolutely fantastic, super nice and helpful and he told us lots of things to do and recommended less touristic places to us which was fantastic. I can only recommend this B&B!

The location and facilities were extremely clean and comfortable. Our host contacted us immediately after booking to welcome us and inquire about the time of our arrival. The room was exceptionally large, it had a balcony with great views of the sea and the city. Our host was helpful with parking solutions.
