Exceptional

Monica the host was super nice, welcoming, friendly and give us tips (and a map) from the city and place to eat. Good location, free parking, clean and new, bed súper good. Breakfast very good. Space in the fridge to put your things is very helpful. Place to come back.

Charming host (Monica), decent breakfasts, good coffee maker, cozy and pleasant interiors. A lot of free-of-charge parking slots in front of the hotel.

bad experience

location

breakfast very poor quality with all processed food no cold meats or cheese,and a camera watching over you eat. Bed very strange, lower at the head end than the foot end, air conditioning very noisy which you pay per KW! Bathroom has bath with shower and taps but no plug to fill bath. Parking is close but on street and not on site as mentioned in description. The host was not willing to accept feedback on your stay and was rude to say the least.

Just perfect

Monica is a lovely person, polite, funny, discrete, considerate, respectful, keen to help. She texted us on the day to confirm our arrival time. We had a massive delay and she waited patiently in the middle of the night till we finally arrived. She welcomed us with a huge smile even if it was 2.30am. The B&B is conveniently located 10-15 min on foot from the old town (3min by car/motorbike), with lots of amendments nearby. Farmacy, supermarket, cafe, convenient shops, with free on street parking. Easy access to motorways for day trips. Quiet big rooms with hot water all day long, comfy mattresses and pillows EXTREMELY CLEAN AND TIDY. We would get a text from Monica asking what time is convenient for us to change the linen (every 3 days) and clean the room. Snacks are available all day long. I cannot recommend this place enough. Had a great time there and definitely we'll be back.

We really enjoyed our stay here. It was in a really good location, with a local amenities very close by. The host Monica was really welcoming and made us instantly feel at home. If we needed something she was always happy to go the extra mile, and helped us with recommendations. She has a very warm, welcoming energy and it also reflects in the property. The place was also spotless, very clean. Thank you for having us and hope to see you again soon!

Superb

We really enjoyed our stay with Monica. The BnB was very clean and tidy, we were very close to the Old Town (20 minute walk) and next door to a wonderful local indoor supermarket. After having bought food to cook with at the local supermarket, Monica was so kind to help us return it. Breakfast consisted of fruit, cereals, sweet breads, coffee and juice. Monica also kindly provided us with ham, cheese and bread to make toasties with. The room was comfortable. Monica cleaned the room during our stay which was pleasant to come back to. The room was equipped with towels, beach towels and an English television. Overall Monica’s place had everything we needed for a short trip to Alghero. It was reasonably priced, comfortable, close to the local town with lots of bars and restaurants (I would recommend renting a car if you want greater access to the beaches on the island) and Monica was a wonderful host. - [ ]

We did not realise that we couldn’t cook as is normal for Air BnB in Italy. If you’d prefer a hot breakfast or dinner then perhaps opt for one of the local eateries closer to the centre of town - this is not a reflection on a Monica but simply a rule applied to BnB providers in Italy. It is worth mentioning that the BnB is next to a nursery which can get quite noisy is you want a lie in but this should be no problem if you’re an early riser. The facilities were largely great although I personally prefer a softer bed.
