The view of the ocean from the house was spectacular. The kitchen was great. Not enough dining room seating for everyone to sit down and eat together. Furniture was dowdy.

This place was perfect! Gorgeous views of the ocean, where we were spent our mornings and evenings. The little town of Rockaway Beach is adorable with good food and places to shops just minutes away. Check out Rockaway Big Tree Trailhead…great easy hike. Beds were comfortable and well equipped kitchen. We had everything we needed and more!

Our stay was very comfortable, clean and the home was welcoming. We were a party of 7 and everyone had a place to sleep. Plenty of room to stretch and relax when lounging and playing games or watching a movie. Would stay again and recommend this house/location.

The house was right on the water. The views were incredible. The “steps” down to the beach were a few houses down. These were more like boulders in a descending layout than steps. We were able to navigate them alright but they would be difficult for those with disabilities. The kitchen is on the second floor for those who may have problems with stairs. Overall, it was a great stay. The kitchen was well stocked, the house was clean, and the views were unbeatable. We will probably be back!

We just checked out of the BnB. Thanks for accommodating our family. Check in was smooth and the place was clean.
Notes:
Hot tub cover is broken. We did our best not to damage it further. I took a picture of it prior to us using. See attached. The cover has debris falling out of it and into the hot tub.
The hot tub was not cleaned of floating debris. It needs a thorough cleaning. Looks as though several groups have enjoyed its use. We just put our feet in to be safe.
The dishwasher top rack is broken. We left it out on counter. We couldn’t get it to go back in properly.
The grill is broken. Only 2 of the burners work and they don’t turn all the way up. This causes the grill to never get above 300f. We waited 30 min for the grill to “heat up”, and just ended up giving up on it and cooking our steaks inside :(
The grill cover was not on the grill when we checked in. It was tucked up under the patio chairs, off to the side. That’s where it remains.
The front patio chairs were located in the backyard. Not by our doing. This was like this when we checked in. They are still there.

Of course we wanted a coffee/bakery shop….right?…we’re on vacay….we were there in late January no sign of this type of shop open…apparently stores start to open come Feb….and for this reason next winter visit to the beach it will be Manzanita……

We had a great time and the home was neat and clean.
Lower bedroom with king size bed has pet dander and we had some allergy issues. We found a chewed up raw hide dog bone on the floor which helped us decipher the reason for the allergies.

We had a wonderful time. The house was amazing and comfortable. The view off the deck of the beach was beautiful and a gray place to sit and drink coffee in the morning.

This is one of the best vacation rentals we have experienced. Super clean, amazing view of the ocean, well stocked in every aspect. We enjoyed the easy beach access as well. Perfect location to enjoy the Oregon Coast. We are already looking forward to our next stay!

We rented this house for the week of 4th of July. The location and proximity to the beach was great. We enjoyed the upper patio and the firepit in the yard.
However, the house needed some TLC to really live up to the listing. The screen to the patio was torn and the gas stove had no ventilation. There were two hot tubs, neither of which worked. The house had decent amenities, and the beds were lumpy, but mostly ok. With a little attention, this house would be a fabulous vacation home.

The house had a great view (right on the beach) and easy access from the beach (down the street two houses away). Nice upper floor with a well equipped remodeled kitchen. The description is not accurate in regards to the bathrooms and the pictures are not accurate. There is a bathroom on both floors (not both on one floor which is a plus), but the one one on the bottom floor is funky as it has the washer and dryer in it and a really small shower. One of the reason that we picked this house was the hot tub that didn’t work (they told us a few days before we got there), but it was very disappointing. It was great for us, but if you had older kids that wanted to have things to do besides watch TV (like many houses that have foozball tables or a ping pong table) that isn’t at this house. The space outside off the bottom floor was nice.

The house is lovely, the kitchen very well stocked. There were a few broken things, none of them a big deal. Hot tub wasn't working while we were there, a shame since it's the main reason we had picked that house. There was a gas fireplace, but that didn't work either. The location right on the beach is fantastic, and the little dog-friendly lawn is nice. Beds were comfortable. Would have liked a dish drying rack for big pots, but otherwise the kitchen was fantastic.

Our family had a wonderful weekend in this beautiful home. The yard was great for the dogs and the hot tub was perfect to relax in at night with a view of the ocean. We will definitely stay here again.
