Beautiful location

I felt less ripped off when I got pick-pocked it Rome than I did staying at Adventure Hotel. At least the pick-pockets only got less than a hundred books Adventure Hotel ripped me off of a lot more than that for a room the size of a jail cell, now that is a real crime. Not only was the room small as a prison cell, it was decorated about the same as a prison--no desk, one small chair, just two small pictures for decor. There were cracks and holes in the wall. The paint was damaged in numerous places. Half the baseboard was missing with loose wires hanging from the (insufficient) electrical outlets. The tub had been damaged and shoddy repaired with duct tape. I own my own airBNB. When I wanted to raise my rent, I put in nice flooring, granite countertops, beautiful furniture and decor and made it worth the higher rent. Adventure Hotel should be ashamed of themselves for charging what they charge per night for this dump. I stayed the next night in a one bedroom apartment, also on the south ring road side of Iceland, complete with full kitchen, living room, separate bedroom and bath for about a third of what I paid at Adventure Hotel. There are WAY better options than Adventure Hotel.

Lovely!

The staff was super friendly. The original hotel we plan to stay at overbooked and these guys waited up for us to arrive.
4.4
Staff very friendly and helpful providing updates on road closure.

Nice views, but inconvenient location. Breakfast was good, room was spacious, but just okay. There were a few bugs in the room (not many), floor was just somewhat clean, bathroom was very basic and no TV. Overall, the place was just okay, not worth the price, but does the job.

The rooms were spacious and comfortable. A good spot to stay for exploring the area. The breakfast was great.

The place was perfect. I was also very surprised at the dining. I assumed that it would be nothing special but the meal was something you'd fin
d in a nice restaurant. Breakfast was great and had a nice variety. I would definitely recommend this place.

Amazing place

We loved the property and the location. So peaceful and the restaurant was wonderful.

The beds were a little too firm for me, however the room was clean and had everything we needed for our one night stay.

Beautiful location

Absolutely loved our stay at this property located at the foothill of a huge mountain. A short walk to an amazing waterfall. Scenic mountain views with sheeps

Only stopped for an overnight stay but seemed ok. Breakfast was ok. Room was a good size. Had a problem with sink not draining and smell in the room so got moved to another room without any issues which was appreciated.
4.4
Beautiful scenery around the hotel. Waterfall short distance behind the hotel. Rooms clean and good size. Restaurant served great food.
Very quiet. Walls are a little on the thin side so you can hear the neighbours but after 10 pm very quiet.
Would defently stay there again.

Stay was great. Rooms were comfortable and cozy. The dinner at the restaurant was absolutely fantastic!!!

Great restaurant for dinner and nice continental breakfast buffet. Offered a triple room which was great for myself and my two sons. The views from the property are gorgeous and it’s very close to many Southern Iceland highlights.

Beautiful location. Excellent staff. Very good food in the restaurant.
4.4
Great location but otherwise, the worst hotel we staid in during our trip in Iceland. Dated but relatively clean room; however the mattress was very uncomfortable. We went for breakfast at 9:30 (they serve it 7-10) and almost all the items were gone, just a few random remnants.
Basically, the experience was like in a cheap motel BUT the price was almost $400!

I didn’t like having to go outside for coffee when there is a hallway right in the main building.
The TV was broken.
4.4
Very good overall, superbe location where you can see the glacier and the mountains. The breakfast was good, the lnly problem was that the bathroom sink was clogged

Small, friendly hotel set among farmland in a valley, at the end of a dirt road outside a small village. Peaceful, quiet, with basic but clean accommodations and a decent on-site restaurant which may be your only choice in the area. A few minutes off Highway 1 but very secluded, this makes a good overnight stop or base to further explore the surrounding area. Be sure to check out the spectacular waterfall you'll pass on your way to/from the hotel, and enjoy the sheep that have the run of the property too.

Clean and spacious. Good breakfast.

My stay at Hotel Geirland was excellent! I definitely recommend it. Violeta at the front desk was sooo sweet and made my stay that much better with her kindness. I felt at home. There's a pretty waterfall to stop at in the morning on the way out.
4.4
It is a cute property off the main highway with plenty to offer & the staff was super friendly

One night stop on way to Hofn. Good breakfast. Friendly people.
4.4
Breakfast was great. Room was very spacious. You need to checkout on time or you will be charged. I didn't get to try the restaurant. Otherwise, decent place to stay
4.4
nice and quite
4.4
Wonderful location. Big rooms, starting to show age. Good food in the restaurant, even if cod turned flounder. Breakfast is good but not staffed for that amount of guests
4.4
