Canyon Lake is over 8,000 surface acres of water and features an 80-mile-long shoreline. The area has many water attractions including boating, fishing, and beaches. It's one of the best places to visit in Texas! Love fishing? You can catch bass, rainbow trout, and catfish.

Drive the scenic River Road
River Road (we suggest the Devil's Backbone - RM 32) is definitely worth a visit. As you drive along the Guadalupe River, you'll be amazed at how peaceful and serene it is. The thought-provoking scenery of the Hill Country, with its rolling hills and sporadic lakes, extends to Canyon Lake is wonderful.

The Gruene Historic District
You will find the Gruene Historic District in New Braunfels, Texas. It's a historic village that has been designated as a Recorded Texas Historic Landmark and on the National Register of Historic Places. It is a small town in Texas that has the oldest dance hall. Gruene Hall was built in 1878 and is still one of the most popular spots today. The 19th-century building is preserved in its original status and still has advertisements from the 1930s around the stage. The dance hall has excellent acoustics, and attending a show here is a fantastic experience.
