Would stop again if needed to.

Breakfast & food in general was good, bar drink selection was very good.

Only real criticism is that my room (3) felt very tired & whilst clean, some of the "no smoking" signs stuck on the wall made it feel like student accommodation.

Lovely place to stay, would recommend.

Breakfast was great, cooked to order, plenty of choice. Location was excellent, staff very friendly and helpful. Large carpark at rear, plenty of under cover outdoor seating. Access to Grand Western Canal towpath from carpark.

Rooms at front face main road, so traffic noise, which can't be helped.

Clean and comfortable with helpful staff

Very friendly and helpful staff, large car park, good breakfast, large room with plenty of storage for clothes. The bathroom, like the bedroom was clean and had ample space.

Unfortunately we chose the time of the year which coincided with the maize harvest and the noise from the huge farm machinery transporting it to the digester facility was very intrusive. We were moved to a room at the back of the hotel for the second night, which was blissfully quiet.

Pleasant hotel close to M5 - really good value

Good location if after a stop to/from SW. Pleasant room with good facilities. Good breakfast and very pleasant staff. Lots of parking

Excellent around lovely locational

The staff were excellent big car park excellentservice all round the breakfast was great they catered for my wife who is gluten free when we left the. Owner said walk to the end of the car park and up the steps and she their is the canal so we walked along the canal and plenty of wild life including a kingfisher which made our day

The staff here are friendly and helpful, the evening meal was pretty good 'pub grub'.. Good location if - like me - you want to stay close to the M5 and around an hour from the N Devon coast. Plentiful free parking. Tea, coffee and biscuits provided in the room. Very friendly lady on breakfast duty, a nice start to the day.

The room and especially the bathroom need some TLC (room 3); rather unpleasant smell and some dodgy plumbing in the bathroom. I like hard beds, but this one was uneven and too hard even for me. Overall the whole place is in need of a lick of paint. I felt the price of £95 for the night was expensive for the room provided.

great value for money, would definitely stay again!

the staff were very friendly, attentive and lovely. great value for money! comfy bed so slept like a log! the breakfast was fab especially appreciated poached eggs!! 😉

our room looked a bit tired in places, particularly the carpet but overall nothing to not like given the price and the staff.
