Welcome to Quail Roost by KEVALA TERRA. Immerse yourself in the panoramic views of the Sonoma Mountains, mingle in the large open floor-plan great-room with high ceiling, splash in the sparkling pool, or pamper in the hot tub or cedar sauna. This wine country estate is the perfect place to celebrate life’s finer moments with friends and family. Just 56 miles from San Francisco, the house is centrally located only minutes to Santa Rosa downtown and a short drive to all the local wineries, regional parks and outdoor activities.
Contemporary chic meets farmhouse charm, the entire property has been fully renovated with high end touches throughout. The spacious 4 (+) bedroom, 4-bathroom retreat could host a large group of 8 overnight guests plus 4 additional daytime guests. You will leave behind all the hustle and bustle as you drive up the hillside cul-de-sac in the heart of this quiet and prestigious residential neighborhood. The modern retreat offers:
• Primary suite-1 with a comfortable king sized bed, a sofa bed, and ensuite bathroom with soaking tub, and a dedicated work desk
• Guest bedroom-2 with a king bed and adjacent full bathroom (double sinks) with tub shower. It has an amazing view slider glass door to access the patio deck.
• Guest bedroom-3 with a king bed sharing the adjacent bathroom with guest bedroom 2.
• Guest bedroom-4 by the front door with a queen bed, a few steps away from a full bathroom across the entry foyer.
• Lower level full bathroom with dry cedar Sauna.
• Lower level den with a desk, copier/printer/scanner (use permission required)
• Fully stocked kitchen and laundry inside the pantry on the main level
• Spacious Great-Room with plenty of natural light, center-piece fireplace integrates the flow of the kitchen, dining room, entertainment and family sitting area with wet bar.
• Solid bamboo formal dining table could extend to seat 12 people
• Radiant heat concrete flooring throughout for sublime winter warmth; plus central HVAC system and ceiling fans for summer cooling.
• High speed Wi-Fi internet with flat screen smart TV (Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu TV/w ESPN, and Pandora music) with sectional couch
• Multiple large window/glass doors open out to a sunny private patio upper deck with 5-person hot-tub, outdoor living and dining space with fire pit, sun-umbrellas, outdoor seating with a Weber BBQ Grill on the upper deck.
• Solar heated swimming pool (only heated yearly between late April to mid-October) with Baja shelf at the lower deck bestows more amazing views and relaxation sitting area. (winter gas heating of the pool is available upon 48 hours advance request for a $400 extra charge for the first 5 days, then $100/ day after that)
• Garage accommodates three full size cars with EV charger, and we also have a foosball table inside the garage.
Private Entrance. You have easy access to the entire home including the yard.
There is a relatively steep and narrow long driveway from the street that leads up to the garage and house.
There is a MAXIMUM LIMIT of 3 CARS per reservation. Please do not block the driveway entry at the street or the top by the garage. There is free street parking.
The host team will be available via phone or messaging app on Airbnb to help the guests throughout their stay. Our friendly ground-keepers will be on the property (out of your way) as necessary to maintain the exterior...please say hi and ask them for help also.
Check-in time is 4 pm and check-out time is 11 am. We don't allow early check-in or late check-out as we have a large property and cleaners would need sufficient time to clean thoroughly in between guest groups.

We had an unforgettable stay at this amazing VRBO in Santa Rosa, perfect for multiple couples or a large group. The house boasts stunning panoramic views that took our breath away every morning. This house is beautiful! The view is stunning.
The patio is well equipped with lots of lounging areas. We lived out there!! It’s really nice how the patio doors open completely so you can have an indoor outdoor feel.
We were impressed with the appliances and special coffee maker there. The dishes are so nice. It was fun to set a table and cook dinner together.

This home looked beautiful on the listing, but it was even more beautiful in person. Everything was so aesthetically appealing. You could tell that every piece of furniture, art piece and color choice was done on purpose. My family was there for a long weekend to celebrate my dad’s 70th birthday and we enjoyed every minute. It was a wonderful place to come home to after spending the days wine tasting and site seeing. The host was responsive and kind, and the groundskeeper, Ramiro, was amazing. I would definitely stay here again. We didn’t want to leave!

The property was well kept and had fantastic views. We had a great time utilizing the pool and hot tub as well as enjoyed the surrounding area. There is a walking / running trail close by and we were close enough to town in case we needed something. A wonderful stay!

We thoroughly enjoyed our Santa Rosa retreat - using it as a launch pad to Sonoma and Napa wineries each day for 3 couples. How sweet it was to return at night to the soothing comforts of this home. All beds were so comfortable and inviting. The artwork around the home is interesting and unique. The pool with retracting solar cover and the hot tub were clean and easy to use. The dry sauna was so relaxing and a great way to truly absorb the therapeutic effects of wine country. It was nice to have condiments and coffee stocked in the home to save us extra trips into Santa Rosa for these necessities. We saw beautiful deer around the property every day which added to the whole experience. Jefferson was very easy to communicate with before and during our stay.
Just a few comments on this 5-star property - none of which detracted from our stay but that are meant to help the owners keep this a showpiece rental. 1) there was a fully popped bag of microwave popcorn on the front stoop at check in (not sure why???? For the deer? We threw it away); 2) the home has tall ceilings in the great room that are stunningly beautiful. But this also means it has to be dusted occasionally- the gorgeous wooden piece over the mantle of the living room fireplace had cobwebs and dust all over it. 3) this home is large enough to host 4 couples, each having their own bathroom. However 2 couples should be prepared to either share a bathroom - or walk a ways to enjoy their own private bathroom.

The online photos of this gorgeous home are spot on. It is truly a wonderful home with spectacular views. We swam during the day and enjoyed a family afternoon gathering. At night, we enjoyed the hot tub, a glass of wine, and the views. The host was responsive and lovely. Looking forward to staying here again.

We celebrated a few big birthdays and a big wedding anniversary. The house did not disappoint. The views are spectacular, very spacious home, every amenity you could imagine, lots of wildlife around the house, large deck and an amazing pool.

We were a family of 8 adults traveling with 2 infants, 15 months and 2 months, to celebrate an anniversary and a birthday. The property was amazing. We spent our days down by the pool, which was just a perfect temperature and the baja shelf was perfect for our grandson. Early mornings and evenings were spent on the upper deck where there is a fire pit for comfort on a cooler evening. The home has several lap blankets to use too. The house was sufficiently well equipped with basic condiments and spices, along with some refrigerated items. The ice production did not quite meet our demand, but we are kind of use to that on family vacations where a lot of beverages are consumed. The neighborhood was peaceful.
We hired 2 personal chefs during our stay. Cheftompace.com for a mixed bbq grill dinner and threedcatering.com for wood fired pizza dinner. I highly recommend both services.
We just loved that this home was about 90 minutes from each of our 4 family homes in the Bay Area- so easy for a quick getaway.

This home is a jewel setting in Santa Rosa with panoramic views on a hilltop with quiet neighbors and all top shelf accommodations including four bedrooms; a large dining room table and patio table, pool, hot tub, BBQ, and firepit; also a fully appointed kitchen. The owner went out of his way to be flexible and see to it that all was good.
We highly recommend Jefferson's beautiful home to all.

Our overall experience was great. Tons of amenities and fully stocked with all that you’d need for a week or more stay. The views off the deck were awesome. Would definitely stay there again if we were in the Santa Rosa area.

I cannot believe that this property is REAL! Every single detail of this house was thought of with care, from the dishes and cookware that make you feel like you’re in a luxury home instead of a rental to the soft bath towels! This house had everything and more than our group could have wanted. I would recommend this property to absolutely anyone. And the views were absolutely breathtaking. Do yourself a favor and book this home for your next big group trip!
