This vacation home is a short drive from many different hot spots and outdoor adventure. Located close to Cascade Lake beaches, The Donnelly Boat Docks, water sports and only 6 miles away from Tamarack Resort. You'll be just 10 miles from the a hidden gem called, Gold Fork Hot Springs, 15 miles north of the boutique town of Cascade and 15 miles south of the resort town of McCall. There are a few locked closets, which are where the owners keep their belongings. The rest of the cabin and garage is open for your use.
Nestled among towering evergreen trees, this property is in a private setting that backs up to the 4H Camp Property, near Lake Cascade with beautiful mountain views, creating a truly breathtaking setting for your next alpine getaway. Reservation Terms: Full rent is due immediately unless a payment plan was pre-approved.
Check-in/Check-out: Check-in is at 4:00 pm, and check-out is at 10:00 am. Early check-in or late departures require prior authorization and may incur a $25 per hour fee.
Events/Parties: Events or parties are not allowed.
Pets: Not all properties are pet friendly. (ONLY DOGS ALLOWED AT PET FRIENDLY PROPERTIES) Where allowed, pets require pre-approval before booking and a $75 fee PER pet will be assessed and must be paid prior to arrival. Approval of pets are determined by several factors. Ex: age, weight, breed, amount of shedding and sex. If approval is granted but the pet fee(s) are not paid, a pet will be considered unauthorized. A $500 penalty (per pet) will be assessed to the primary guest if there is evidence that unauthorized animal(s) were outside and/or inside the cabin at any point during your stay. In addition, a group with an unauthorized pet might be asked to immediately depart, with no refund. In any event, damage done by a pet will incur an additional charge, whether authorized or unauthorized.
Smoking/Fireworks: Smoking, vaping, and fireworks are not allowed on the property.
Damage: Guests are responsible for any damages and must report them to management immediately.
Courtesy: Please observe quiet hours from 10 pm to 8 am.
Cancellation: We abide by the cancellation policy agreed to at booking.
Home Furnishings: Please do not rearrange furniture.
Amenities: Management has 24 hours to repair amenities.
Fire Safety: Follow fire pit rules, and guests are responsible for any fire damage.
Off-Highway Vehicles (OHVs): Operation of OHVs is not permitted on the property but street legal vehicles are allowed on public roads.
Trailer/RV Parking: RV parking requires pre-authorization and a $25 nightly fee.
Hot Tub: If this home has a hot tub (not all homes have hot tubs), please follow hot tub guidelines; a $150 charge applies for "drain and fill."
Wi-Fi: As cabins are frequently located in a rural area, please be prepared for slow/spotty Wi-Fi and internet. Management makes every effort to ensure the Wi-Fi is in working condition, but cannot guarantee the internet will always be reliable, and will not permit refunds due to Wi-Fi/internet issues.
Capacity: Adhere to agreed-upon guest numbers.
Management is not responsible for the following: fires, smoke, algae bloom, water levels of the lake, lack of snow, abundance of snow, changing of the seasons, temperature highs, temperature lows, power outages, rain, mud, ice, etc. We are also not responsible for insects and/or animals (including: mosquitos, ants, spiders, bats, bears, deer, mice, mountain lions, bobcats, any animals that get into trash, or their droppings.) With being located in the mountains, we do our best to prevent these issues, however there are instances where it is inevitable. There will be no refund for any of the above listed issues. Thank you!

Curious layout to the house. For the overall size of the property there 2.5 bathrooms seems insufficient. Well water has a strong sulfur smell and taste.

This home worked great for us and was near our family’s home in Donnelly. Quick and easy access to lots of water fun. Great fireworks right outside the upstairs balcony!

We came for a long weekend with our grown daughters and their families to fish Cascade and relax! The house was perfect for all of us, we were a party of 8 adults and 4 kids (7 and under). We did a lot of cooking, the kitchen was well stocked with most everything although I’d recommend a new set of frying pans. The deck off the front had a nice table/chair set where we enjoyed the evenings. There was a lot of parking, they allow garage parking, and we had a boat in tow. We’d rent this home again!

Stayed at the “cabin” to ski Tamarack Resort. Well located and easy drive to Tamarack. Spacious, comfortable and well appointed house with great garage. Responsive host, but everything we needed for a great visit was already there. Highly recommended.

The house is big with room for everybody. Kitchen has all you need. The primary is on the main floor with a great tub. There is new carpeting in the primary on the 1st floor and of the 2nd floor. Very clean huge garage with 2nd fridge, great for storing drinks.

It was a beautiful big house there were problems here and there but nothing big. For example things werent as clean like the toilet in the master bedroom, there were crumbs in the kitchen, and the grill was dirty when we found it so we cleaned it when we finished using it. Other then that everything was good, we felt safe and had lots of fun.

The property is beautiful! The home was clean and very large and open. Great location tucked away in a small, quiet neighborhood. Very easy check in. Would love to go back when there isn’t 4 feet of snow on the ground, I’m sure it’s even more beautiful then! The only small thing was the listing title says 5 bedroom with hot tub. It’s a 4 bedroom with no hot tub. Still plenty of room for our family though!

The Forest Escape property was everything we hoped for and more! The home was immaculate! The kitchen was spacious and fun for our young-adult kids to cook in, too. We all loved the very comfy beds! It's hard to find a home that does not have bunk beds; our 5 kids thank you most especially for that! After a fast reply from FrostCabins support team, we all loved the fireplace whilst we played games each night. The surrounding property is beautiful with all the trees and space. Our dogs were welcome and loved it there, too. Since we had snow, we appreciated being able to park in the garage. It was a perfect stay. All the amenities were awesome. We'd love to stay there again in the spring or summer next year. Thank you.
