Bubbles and bliss

The views from the tent and it's private jacuzzi were excellent. The facilities in the tent were also great, we were very comfortable. We have had multiple enquiries about the accommodation from friends and colleagues who want to experience it for themselves and we will definitely be back.

Lovely, cozy property, but messed up our booking and may be misleading customers with online images

Location was great, quite close to the beach, staff were friendly, place was clean, and once we overcame the initial confusion (see didn't like section), the accommodation was charming and comfortable.

We received email confirmation of our booking, but the staff did not anticipate our arrival and could not locate our booking in their system. After several phone calls back between staff and acknowledging our email confirmation, they decided to accommodate us anyway. The room they gave us did not match the room images we saw when making our booking (in fact, they matched a room in the other building as they have two for the property) and it was clear this was not the room we paid for. When we brought this to the staff's attention, they attempted to convince us the room we were staying in was the only one that matched the description of what we paid for, a family double. So either their images online are inaccurate and misleading or they were deceiving us on arrival due to availability constraints. Though if that was the case, they could have been transparent and said as much.

To much attention is given to decor and not enough detail to comfort.

Great view!

Parking is a big problem! We only had 2 pillows in a room booked for Three people and no extra duvet for the couch bed. Room had a bad smell of gass due to people warming their hands on the gas stove in the kitchen down the hall.

Nice stay but require a bit of attention to detail of basic things.

Central and quiet location. Big room with excellent sea and moiuntain views.

Consider fixing towel hooks in the bathroom as well as a toilettoll holder. Supply cupboard with hangers. Supply more coffee sachets.

Family getaway

I loved the rooms and attention to detail with the little things that made the stay much more enjoyable. Great thought went into the needs of the guests. The staff was amazing and very accommodating. The views were absolutely breathtaking and the bed was so comfy.

The hot water ran out very quickly. Some minor issues with the window that could not open but did not affect our stay. Also, no fault of the resort, but the other guests were standoffish with my kids who wanted to enjoy the facilities like the rest of the guests.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Beachwood Camps Bay.

Staff were great. The room was comfy, we were free to come and go as we pleased. The pool and the view were lovely. The only thing that could be improved on are small little maintenance things like a weed here and there and the coffee/tea in the room not having been replenished. Excellent value for money and we had a very happy stay at Beachwood Camps Bay

Great location, nice and quiet, close to Camps Bay main street (few minutes car ride, probably can walk it too), gas station nearby. Staff were very friendly and accommodating to requests, and showed some pro-activeness in making things more comfortable. Rooms have AC which was useful on hotter days. View from the property to the sea is amazing - we saw beautiful sunsets there.

First room we were in (smaller room just on the outside of the property) was quite small, felt like a box. Rooms do not have a safety box, and although we felt safe leaving our things behind, it would have been better to have. When we were upgraded (very kind of the team to do this pro-actively!), the noise in the common area is higher than we would have liked. If guests were having a conversation there, it was very audible.

Nice Stay close to Clifton and restaurants.

There was no breakfast included but we discovered a really cute cafe walkable from the house. The house was exactly as described, very quirky design definitely a bit dated. The views were spectacular. Most important thing was how honest and nice the staff was. My son left his wallet and they immediately found it and within 2 weeks shipped it asking for no money. Amazing.

The property is a bit dated and needs some attention. No elevator to lug our luggage to our room. Too many stairs.

Really not worth it

I travel a lot. The place is a glorified backpackers. There is no soundproofing and you hear everything, and I mean everything, that is taking place everywhere in the house. I imagine that this would be a great backpackers gig when priced at 600 to 700 rand per night, but at more than double that, it is simply a rip off. Really very poor value for money.

Friendly staff but the property was a disappointment.

The property offered free transportation to camps bay which came in handy since they didn’t offer breakfast. The staff, especially the female staff were very friendly and helpful.

The toilet seat was falling apart, the bathroom sink didn’t drain so we’d brush our teeth and spit in the toilet bowl instead. The bathroom didn’t drain well so when we showers, water spilled all over the bathroom floor. The bathroom didn’t have a door which provided no privacy especially when someone was at the door. When we checked in the pillow cases weren’t clean so had to ask for them to be changed.

Beautiful and Friendly.

The place is situated perfectly with beautiful views of the ocean and Table Mountain. The room was clean and prepared well with a bit of a personal touch on our arrival. The staff were friendly and welcoming.

Feels like home

As a solo traveler safety is really important for me and Beachwood didn’t disappoint. The staff was carrying, kind and pretty friendly. They made sure everything was good and were ready to offer help anytime what I really appreciate. The room is exceptional, design is fantastic. Was such an enjoyable experience for me to stay here. Would definitely recommend to anyone choosing an accommodation in Camps bay

Very poor

when we got there, there was a roudy group right next door to us which made it absolutely impossible to stay. and management wasnt there at the time and the staff who could barely speak english couldnt/didnt do much with the situation. we unfortunately had to leave. expecting us to have to stay under those conditions isnt reasonable

Keep up the amazing work, your place is super amazing but please create a bigger space for packing..

My room was so big,, the view from my window was amazing.. Waking up to the sound of waves 😍😍.. The lady Amy was super amazing she went extra mile, she even organize a transport for to the airport...

I loved everything about the place.. The only thing I didn't like was the weather, it was raining all weekend and I couldn't go to the beach...

Beautiful place!

Wow! Beautiful accommodation in a beautiful location with ocean views! Close to nice restaurants and a short drive to the CBD. Our host was very welcoming, the room was very comfortable and beautiful. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend this place if you're looking for a safe, secure, and comfortable place to stay! Thanks for having us!
