It was amazing regardless of the past negative reviews. The water was hot the water pressure was awesome. The food was good

The Hotel is not prepared to accommodate guests in my opinion. My first night my room was infested by gnats. When I reported it I was told” nothing can be done about it”. When I tried turning on my lampshade, I was zapped because instead of a knob to turn the lampshade on , it was raw exposed electrical wires. They moved me immediately to another room. Then there was the water issue the entire stay. They provided water bottles for us to wipe ourselves, this is unacceptable. Monique guest service manager, Vilma and the housekeeping supervisor were extremely nice and accommodating. Had it not been for them, I would rate the hotel a full zero!

There was a problem with water leaks for several days, and they kept switching off tap water. Also the machines in the gym were old and non-functional (2 tread-mills out of 2 are not functional)

Overall, a pleasurable experience. The furniture in the rooms needs updating. The staff are friendly. The staff clearly understands they are behind the eight ball with the furniture, but they still tried to make us comfortable despite that.

There are hard working people at this facility but the managment need to pull it together. But i believe that the problem is higher up than that. For starters there was no hot water almost the entire stay and for two days no water at all. After a hot sunny day at the beach, no shower. Forget about water pressure. Just enough to quickly wash your body. Impossible to wash a long hair. The food was ok but very limited options and nothing 24 hour. Only Breakfast, lunch and dinner. If you miss lunch there’s no food or snacks until dinner. All inclusive hotels I stayed was always food 24 hours.
The place felt under staffed and employees over worked. We had to be moved to another room because of a toilet leaking from the 4th floor and dripping into our bathroom. Wifi was spotty at best. Only works on lobby and very poorly.
The beach is gorgeous but i wish there were more activities/entertainment. Only once a week they do entertainment at night.
Music at the pool very loud during the day.
No shops around.
But as I stated before there are hard working people here and this place could be great if a few changes were made.

The rooms need to be updated. They are in very pot condition. Stayed for 5 days no one came to clean my room and I had to request clean towels.

Excellent beach access. Room was very nice. Staff was pleasant, friendly, accommodating. Food? needs improvement; lacks flavor; more variety.

We love it, nothjng like what others reported ... we will be staying on extra days. The staff is WOW, it was just awesome... would surely come again! Thumbs UP!

The resort itself could use some updating, but the beach and pool area more than make up for that and any other negatives. The food options were not too diverse but still good. The coffee shop needs some work and coffee needs to be refreshed more throughout the day. My husband and I loved our stay and spent most of our time in the water enjoying the peace and quiet.

So this is a last resort resort. I was told that so many times by the locals. I should’ve paid for convenience and stayed at a better resort, but you get what you pay for. They don’t clean your room daily unless you ask and pay $10 extra to clean it. Clean linen is not provided unless you ask for it and you have to ask 24 hr in advance per policy, however the kind staff give it to you anyway, but they have to state that policy, I guess. Barely any activities and you get the same food/menu daily. The drinks are okay definitely not top shelf. The pool is decent and it’s right next to the beach so I enjoyed that. The staff were friendly, so I enjoyed talking to them, Roneil, Karla and Shavaine should get a raise they were awesome. No excitement on the property, I was tired of hearing the excuse that it’s “off season as if I should expect less from the resort with entertainment. They took my money so provide the vibes. I got bit up by mosquitos like no other… obviously thats not the resorts fault but come prepared with off spray, zeet, and drench your body in it daily. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend or stay there again.

The property needs to be upgraded. The furniture in the lobby is old the cushions are dirty. The bathroom door did not work, there aren’t any electrical outlets in the bathroom. There are only two electric outlets located in the bedroom which we had to swap out for shaving, hairdryers and chargers. The showers are extremely small the doors do not work. Because of the mosquitos we could not enjoy the balcony.

The staff was amazing. They were very friendly, and attentive to our needs. The food was fantastic. I did not have one bad meal experience. The variety and quality was amazing. My only drawback to the experience, and this may be small, was the quality of the shower heads. Calcification caused random squirting

Very relaxing and clean with friendly staff!

Outside area such as beach and pool were lovely. Rooms were a bit disappointing but the food was very good although only 2 real restaurants and only one open per night. Music at pool was dictated by bartender so they played their playlist which I thought most people were not keen on. Not really considering the crowd!. 3 pool tables but two busted. Just fix the dang pool tables. Large groups of children were brought in from the outside for all day resort enjoyment. Very loud. If it weren't for the big pools and awesome beach, the rating would have been lower.

Place is very dated

The rooms need upgrading. Also the lunch menu needs to include more options.

The external area of the resort is lovely and the beach is beautiful and clean, and the staff is friendly. However the internal property is extremely outdated, and is in need of major renovation. On my 3rd night, a pipe burst, which caused water to be unavailable to the entire resort for about 12 hours. The rooms are barely air conditioned, and there were many ants in the bathroom. I also heard complaints of leaking roofs and plumbing issues from other guests. The dining options are minimal and the food was only halfway decent. I would not recommend.

Jolly beach staff was very helpful and kind would go back

The pool area and beach is gorgeous. The best thing about the property. The pool bar closes at 5pm. The pool closes at 7pm. Even on the weekends. The restaurants are controlled. They're not all opened. One day they serve carribean food, next day the chef's specials, another day the Italian restaurant opens. Mind you have 4 choices in the Italian restaurant and the only thing Italian is the pizza and bread. The other meals in the other restaurant are buffet style. The best meal there is the breakfast. The drinking cups look dirty. You have to fight off the birds and mosquito while you're eating. The staff were friendly and nice. The rooms are small and the furniture is really old. The AC in the room is poor quality. I wouldn't go back.

Everything is old and outdated. Everything leaks.

My Daughter & I checked out before we checked in as the description of what was advertised of the rooms & what was shown on the website of the rooms were not comparable at all - to our shock & horror , cockroaches, balcony & front door locks Broken, air condition Unit broken, unsafe & water in electric lamps on the side of the wall & a shower room again nothing like the pictures advertised - I would not allow an animal to stay in such a room it was disgusting in every way possible! Do not go to this place

This is a great property with so many amenities such as pools, games, restaurants, bars. Step out of the hotel you will enter an excellent beach with white sand and warm ocean water with no waves makes it perfect for swimming and other water sports. Staff and service is excellent but we were there in off-season, do not know how it is during the season.
Need a faster, accessible WIFI.

The dining was great.

Very old

Property building is very very old, not well maintained. Water leaks from roof, wardrobe doors broken, doors and windows jammed, a/c leaks too, etc. Staff is decent but overall very cheap practices. Food is very limited, one night I had to sleep hungry as they stopped serving at 9:30 pm. No buffet, no other option. Even after request staff did not take my order for food because of closing time. Cheap quality food and drinks. Very limited food options.

Internet is terrible, food is poor, staff are rude and lazy,
Beach is great but sadly the hotel and its staff ruin this overpriced place.

Was hoping to find the property in better condition than the last time we visited in January 2023. Need to update guest rooms, have more dining options and activities on the beach

The resort was exactly what I was looking for. Somewhere quiet and peaceful. The room was comfortable although the AC wasn't working properly at least the room was at a good temperature perfect for resting. Both the pool and the beach were beautiful, not crowded and clean. There was no loud music playing except by the pool bar which was fine because it was only for a few hours during the afternoon. The night was as peaceful and relaxing as you would want with just the sounds of nature. The only draw back was the lack of management for the restaurants. The first night it took well over an hour and a half to be served our meal. The remaining nights were better. The lack of attention to the tables for serving coffee, water or drinks needs better training. Also the mosquitos and flies can be a bit overwhelming during the dusk hours for outside dinning. Also I do wish they had water for the guest rooms as well. Overall the resort is nice could absolutely use some updating. But all in all I enjoyed my stay and would recommend. If you are looking for a quiet, budgeted all inclusive resort then this is the place to go.

The beach is beautiful but everything else very old especially the rooms

Great location, but the entire property needs drastic updating. Food was good, but limited times at this time of year. Service is ok. Bar hours limited and liquor and wine choices definitely limited.

A very beautiful location. The staff was very helpful. Good food.
Rooms should be provided with wifi.
Better working air condition.

On the plus side, the beach is beautiful. But the hotel was dated. The food was the same every day, and it was very expensive when I was there. Not worth the money.

Beach truly is beautiful

The property was nice but run down a bit. I am sure the resort will be a lot better once everything is up and running. COVID really did a number on this island especially Jolly Beach, I’ll be back in a couple of years for sure.

First I want to say that I was horrified that the main pool was closed for renovations and we were not informed prior neither was it on their website. Secondly the place is infested with mosquitoes which made it very uncomfortable and most annoying. Thirdly the staff was not friendly and the first 2 days the food was horrible it improved somewhat but still no that good. Now let’s not get started in the tilting shower that you can barely fit in m… they really need to upgrade this hotel. It looks so perfect in the photos but is far from.

The food was great but the property is under renovation so some areas are closed of.

The stuff was not so accommodating, they seemed bothered when I requested a service not friendly. . I had to request for my room to be changed 4 times before they moved me I spent the 1st night in my room with no ac and mosquitoes in the room. The room are very small and need huge updating the power on the resort was in and out due to them working on the big pool which was closed. The food was not great and they didn’t have mint the few times that they did the mint was not fresh. I will never stay here again. I happened to speak to other guest and they happened to stay there 25 years ago and told me that the curtains in the rooms are still the same.
