Overall the hotel was nice. The rooms were clean and stocked with fresh towels.

The room was clean.

The lobby and elevators had a foul smell and dirty floors. The common areas reeked of urine and dog poop, indicating that pets were allowed.

Good location with friendly staff. Hopefully the downgraded room and broken shower were just a one off.

I’ve stay here many times before and the staff is always pleasant and welcoming.

I had a very tiny room this stay and the shower handle fell off and smashed my toe. Every time I’d put it back on it fell off again.

Only good if you planed to visit Play Museum

We had stayed in Rochester for a night to our road trip to Boston, It was clean and comfortable, available parking spots on site.

It was pricy and we noticed that this is the best property for those who had a plan to visit Play Museum as you do need to pay extra for Play museum parking and is just a min walking distance.

Good efficient friendly staff. Mildly inconvenient location. Unexpectedly high price.

Breakfast was good. Not up to South African standards, but good.

I didn't realize the distance to University of Rochester where my main activity was. Price was higher than I had hoped, which is why I stayed 2 nights instead of 4.

New hotel that seems old already.

Its in a decent location to the Play Museum.

Dirty carpet when we arrived. Shower had terrible terrible water pressure. Oh and someone broke into our car overnight in the hotel parking lot. They didn't steal anything, but it was ransacked and stunk like cigarettes. I don't know if that smell will ever come out. I also heard another guest complain that their carpet was wet and smelled like some dog had an accident on it.

Excellent staff, on-site restaurant, facilities and location if you plan to stay the night and visit the Strong Museum.

This property surprises! Fantastic location if you are visiting the Strong Museum. The facilities were great and we were able to check-in a bit earlier when we asked as our room was ready. Staff were friendly and the dinner at the onsite restaurant was delicious, especially the lobster roll!

The complementary breakfast is limited and we would rather forgo it.

We will definitely stay here again!!!!

It is a beautiful hotel… right in the heart of Rochester. Very clean and the staff is polite. The bar staff was excellent and the food was amazing!!! They even have a shuttle bus to take you to any concerts in the area!!! Thumbs up all around!

I would stay here again.

Overall, great location, room and facilities. We had dinner there and it was good, though there could have been more offerings. Nice dining space and atmosphere, other than the music being too loud. Breakfast was adequate.

Larger dinner menu. I left my iPad in the bathroom and tried to reach someone at the front desk. It was impossible to find a direct number. Once I got back to the hotel, the staff were very helpful.

Amazing stay and will definitely book here again on our next Rochester trip!

Location is amazing! Right beside The Strong which is why we traveled to Rochester. Parking is free at The Strong (validated by the hotel). Breakfast spread is really good compared to other hotels we've been in. Super comfy beds and room, it was sparkling clean when we got there. Provided a playpen when I requested at the counter, and it even had a new sanitized playpen cover. Amazing value, service, and amenities.

Great Rochester Trip

Location was right next to The Strong. The breakfast was great. The rooms were clean. I was really glad they offered decaf coffee.

Not worth the cost, small rooms, loud music from the bar I assume could be heard loudly in the room.

The location was where I wanted. The food at the restaurant was really good.

The rooms are extremely small, especially for the price. We could hear music playing all night while trying to sleep. When I first went to the restaurant with my 8 year old son the server gave me menus and told me whenever we were ready to order to walk up to the bar. We were the furthest table from the bar. He didn’t even take a drink order. I thought weird for an upscale restaurant but ok. So I did. Then I realized NONE of the other tables that came in went to the bar. Everyone was served like a typical table with service. I guess because I had my (very well behaved quiet) child I did not deserve full service. Thought that was ridiculous.

A disappointing stay to end a great day.

The hallway was clean, but i'm betting that it's because it's a brand new building. Nothing else stood out to 'like'

Didn't like the staff, there was soda or some orange liquid all over our sink in the bathroom. Around the toilet was gross. For a brand new hotel and building, I was HIGHLY disappointed in the quality of how the room was cleaned.

A Must Stay

I loved the cleanliness of the space and building, I felt safe. The staff was amazing. And the room was so spacious. Not to mention the competitive pricing for the room (especially on the weekend).

I didn't like that I had to leave 😌😌
