We booked Bear View Cabin for our annual girls getaway and couldn't have been happier with this house! We almost made it a game to try and sit somewhere new each night because there are so many options! We ate dinner on the back patio in beautiful weather, we played games on the front porch, we sat around the fire and talked for hours and that was just outside! The house was stocked with whatever you need to make meals just like you would at home, the downstairs cupboards are filled with games (we had to put Uno away to save friendships 😂), and there is plenty of linens. The location was great too! We drove a short ways to Tonto Natural Bridge which was A MUST, visited the lavender farm and explored shops through pine and strawberry. Highly recommend stopping at Old County Inn for pizza and the Early Bird has great breakfast! The owner Joel was so gracious answering my one million questions. I can't say enough great things about our experience!!

Cabin was exactly as described. The thought put into the decor was incredible. Cute little bear knickknacks, pillows, wall signs, etc. Even though there were two spacious living room areas, the teenagers chose to hang with us upstairs every night. :p
We saw several deer and elk while there. It was peaceful and quiet.
The master bedroom takes a while to cool off when you first get there. It's a huge room with a fireplace, couch and armchair. We are late risers and loved the blackout curtains. Even at 10 am it was still really dark in the room.
Plenty of towels and linens and kitchen items. They even have corn on the cob holders and skewers!
We loved our stay here and are considering an even longer stay next summer so we can enjoy the fire pit and outdoors even more.

We enjoyed our stay in this very well acquainted cabin.
Sometimes, in short term rental homes, you feel the houses are furnished cheaply. To the contrary at Bear View Cabin! we enjoy the tasteful decor and great amenities. We felt we could have bought the same things for our home.
This was a very enjoyable week-end. we hope to be back soon

What an awesome vacation! We enjoyed every minute of our stay. The cabin is beautiful, the beds were super comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked, there was instant hot water, and the decks...2 decks on the front and a large patio in the back provided amazing places to sit and enjoy our coffee, play cards, and watch for deer and elk (which we saw every day!)! The kids made a game out of picking up the pinecones and placing them in the basket near the firewood. (We could not use the firepit because of fire restrictions, but were still able to roast marshmallows on the fire chat table on the front deck.) We will definitely be back if the opportunity arises. Oh yeah, the owners were very quick to respond to any questions we had. Rent this cabin if it's available!

It was an awesome stay at Bear View Cabin. Joel was easy to communicate with directly and the house was amazing. Everything was clean and the house had everything you needed for the stay. Would definitely stay here again.

The cabin was perfect, nicely decorated with different bear accessories, nice ambiance. It had everything we need, from bath towels to paper towels, aluminum foil to ziplocks, a lot of plates, utensils, mugs, glasses. The accommodations surpass hotel amenities. Joel is a perfect host, very responsive and very accommodating. I highly recommend their place. This is the 4th year our group had a weekend getaway in the Pine and Payson area, and everyone in the group agreed that this cabin is the best place we have ever stayed at. Kudos to Joel.

We had such a great time at this cabin! Everything was very high-quality, and it was decorated beautifully. There were really great instructions for everything in the camp in and when we needed to contact the owner, he was very quick to reply. We hope to plan a Christmas vacation there.

The best VRBO experience we have ever had. These hosts thought of everything. Propane patio heaters, fire table, extra propane in case you run out, fire wood, kindling, fire log starters, fireside blankets.
The house is set up for your convenience and enjoyment.
If you forget something, they probably already have it at the house for you to use.
The house sleeps 8, but with all the living space, you would have a much larger crowd and not feel congested.
We will definitely stay here again.

What an amazing property! Pictures do not do this property justice! Every room, every detail shows pride of ownership. It was absolutely beyond our expectations. The owners have thought of everything you might need. Location is absolutely perfect! So close to town. This was also the cleanest VRBO property I have ever stayed in. Check in and check out was so easy and owners were so responsive to text messages. If I could give this property more stars, I would. Cannot wait to visit again!

This place is worth every penny! Check in/out was easy and Joel was super responsive. This place was emmaculate, so clean. Kitchen was well stocked and with good quality kitchware. The owners have thought of everything you would need for your stay. Each room even had laundry baskets and hooks in the shower...the little things I wish other rentals had. The downstairs was great for the teens to hang out while the grown-ups hung out on the deck enjoying the weather and fire pits. The neighborhood is pretty quiet and lots of wild life. It was so awesome to see deer/elk on our walks and near the house. I really appreciated how close stores and strawberry was. Every place we ate at in Pine was great. I would definitely rent this place again!

My wife, daughter, grandchildren and I spent a relaxing long weekend at this incredible home in Pine. The property has been beautifully renovated and furnished. The kitchen was perfect for cooking all of our meals, and the multiple patios and decks allowed for great dining al fresco. The home is close to the shops and restaurants in Pine, yet it feels secluded in the forest. A bonus is its proximity to the Tonto National Bridge Star Park…a must to visit during a stay at this rental home. Joel and Megan were great hosts with A+ communication with us before and during our visit. For example, the refrigerator broke during our stay. Joel promptly provided ice for our cooler and installed a new refrigerator the same day. In summary, we loved our stay and look forward to our next visit!

This cabin was incredibly clean, stocked with supplies, and nicely furnished. There are plenty of places to gather with friends and family both inside and out. Renters were easy to work with and we will be back again.

My kids and I stayed at this wonderful property after Christmas for some time away and solitude. We enjoyed every minute there! The home is very well taken care of. All instructions are easy to access and the owners are available for any questions. Location was perfect. Quiet and serene. We will definitely be staying here again soon!

We were so lucky to stay at Bear View Cabin over New Years weekend 2022 and what a magical time we had! The Cabin is stocked so if you're looking to cook, grill, etc this place is very well set up! Great quiet street close to all you want in Strawberry, Pine, or Payson, and a beautiful area.
Our hosts were extremely accommodating and responsive and made sure we had everything we needed.
The cabin is large, and spacious and has gorgeous balconies all around - truly a great find. I know we will be back! 10 stars
