Great kitchen, well stocked except kitchen towels. Loved the view/sounds of ocean. Quiet neighborhood. Decor could use some color! Some walls had nicks that needed repair. Carpet needed cleaned. Mr clean would help the dining chairs wood & seats. Loved the decks!

Was very nice. Enjoyed by all in family. Hope to return. Thanks.

The location was great! The house was nice but could use some updates and a thorough cleaning. We were a little sad that most of the windows didn’t work. All in all it was a decent place, we really enjoyed our trip & we would stay there again.

We had a wonderful vacation. 2 suggestions - cut back and weed the landscaping as it is very overgrown. Spray the interior for spiders as I had a very large spider in my sheets the first night, a large spider in the bathtub and another very large spider dangling from the ceiling the final day of our stay.

Beautiful three story house with great views. Very roomy and comfortable. House has ample sleeping space with four bedrooms and two sleeper sofas. Sofa in media room is big enough for two more and great for afternoon naps as it is the softest most comfortable piece of furniture. Kitchen is well stocked with small appliances. Decks with gates are a nice if traveling with pets. Plenty of stairs for daily exercise and a nice path to the beach. House could use some upkeep and regular DEEP cleaning but overall it was a very nice family vacation.

Great beach access. Good location - bike rides to salvo day use area, kayaking on Pamlico sound, loved watching the wind surfers at waterman's. Highly recommend.

The homeward perfect for my family and location was great!! We will certainly be renting through you again.
Suggestions for the house, some windows are broken and need replacement, duct work needs cleaning as there is a black mold like growth on some of the vents.

The Beach was gorgeous! Sand for miles, few people on the beach, warm ocean and beautiful views! I also always really appreciate when owners allow renters to bring their dog with them on holiday. :)
The beach was definitely the best part of our vacation. 4.5/5 STARS (lengthy and at times a difficult walk for some).
The House is a good size, nice layout and the multiple balconies were lovely. Unfortunately the house is run down and dirty. The carpets feel grimy, the kitchen chair cushions are stained and dirty and furniture is old and worn out. My children complained that the basement bedrooms smelled musty and damp. The house really needs a facelift, especially considering the amount of money charged for a weekly rental. As a group we rate the house a 2.5/5 STARS. We would not return. :(

We all had a great time at the Arizona...the home
was comfortable and the location absolutely perfect. One comment I do have (not to be taken as a complaint) was the yard was so overgrown that it looked abandoned. The weeds and grass were at spots waist high and hanging way over into the driveway. The wooden walkway to the ocean was totally overgrown and annoying to navigate. That said, I wouldn't let that stop us from staying there again...we truly had a blast. Would have been nice if the adjacent cottage would have turned off all their flood lights at night… but that's another story for another day.

The house was perfect for our group of friends and dogs who just wanted to relax by the beach all week. Perfect to sit and eat on the deck in the evening. The house fit us all and our cooking comfortably and was well set out.
We didn't use the BBQ as it was charcoal.

The house was spotlessly clean when we arrived and we were very comfortable for the entire visit. We loved that all the rooms opened onto a deck and had beach access from the many decks. We saw deer on the dunes from our bedroom - a really nice surprise. The den with the large TV was especially nice for reading, with a large, cozy sofa. The kitchen was very well equipped with an amazing array of small appliances so meals were a breeze. And of course, the beach. Most relaxing vacation we have ever had.
Thank you!

The house is in a perfect location with stunning views. It was amazing being so close to the water and was an easy (as easy as walking over dunes can be) walk with three small kids. The house itself was a good size for 5 of us. The kids enjoyed the games and fooseball table.
Unfortunately, the house itself was in need of a lot of maintenance. It smelled of wet dog and there was dog hair on the furniture and beds. The freezer door didn’t close all the way, so some of our food went bad. The shower curtain was moldy. Everything was just a bit janky. With a little TLC, this could be a perfect vacation home.

Overall it was a fun trip. The stairs are a definite workout. The house is nice!

We loved how close it was to the ocean. The place was nice and adequate for our small group. It could use some updating, new coffee maker, thicker curtains on bottom level bedrooms, instructions for the tv. It was great to have so much room, beats the heck out of any motel room! We would definitely stay there again.

Great location on the beach. Appreciated location away from Nags Head. No problem driving there for dinner or special activities. Good house layout for kids to do their thing and adults to do theirs. Would re book.

Wonderful views; however, none of the windows worked so could not take advantage of ocean breeze. Comfortable attractive and good location with direct beach access from back yard. It was a bit of a hike over the dooms to the beach but the path was well marked.

We truly had a wonderful time at Arizona! Forks Up!! I am getting my MA at ASU. The house was very clean, lots of hot water, & the dryer was fast. The walk to the beach was easy & I could send back the older ones when they got tired. Our dog was in heaven. Thank you! We enjoyed the experience.

Although some of the interior could use some updating, the space was great. A 360* view of the Outer Banks just breathtaking. I could really see a large family enjoying their stay here. But the hot water heater would be a problem. It ran out before even filling the bathtub or finishing your shower. The cleaning crew needs a few pointers.I would rent it again for 2 people.

The Arizona was perfect for us! We had 6 adults, 1 2yr old and 2 dogs and we had more than enough room to relax and just chill out. The decks are amazing, awesome views, and comfy couches. The walk to the beach is no big deal unless you have mobility issues and it’s nice and nit too crowded. We enjoyed getting a steamer and watching the sunset from a local restaurant. Wonderful vacation!

We loved our stay at Arizona in Salvo. Cleanliness was super important and clean it was! Also the location. Oceanfront with amazing views of the dunes and ocean, gorgeous sunrises every day. We stayed on the 3rd floor where the master bedroom is with a deck for the fantastic views. Super comfortable bed! Arizona is in a quiet neighborhood and we wanted that as well. We appreciated the natural landscape in the front as it really gave privacy to the house. There was an easy path to the beach. The home was well stocked in the kitchen. Our golden retriever loved the decks and the gates on the decks were wonderful. Extra gates in the house were provided by the owner. The outside shower was great to rinse off after the beach. Obviously, this home could easily accommodate several more people but the location and cleanliness was a homerun for us. Enjoyed the Village Conery a couple of nights for their ice cream. We will be coming back to Arizona again!

We had a great stay at the Arizona! It was just my husband and I with our dog for a bit then my parents joined us. Having the kitchen and living space on the middle floor gave us privacy but allowed us to enjoy spending time together as well. The gates on the decks to keep the dogs in was one of my favorite features and truly allowed us to relax and enjoy the view. The house was clean, comfortable, dog friendly, and a very short walk to the beach! Thank you for sharing your home with fellow dog lovers!

The property was perfect, exactly as advertised. Spacious, lots of private spaces, decks all over the place, short walk to the most beautiful beach. Kitchen was stocked, everything 7 adults could want and need. It was close to convenience stores, check in was a breeze and a slight glitch was taken care of quickly by the property management company. Will definitely be back.

The driveway and address marker were extremely overgrown. The house was not cleaned properly by the housekeeping service.
Location and beach access were great. A good house for a dog, especially with the gated decks.

Overall the week stay was great! There was enough beds and sheets for everyone. They do only give you want towel for bathing and no hand soap for the whole week so next time I will bring my own. Maybe that is common for these rentals?? Either way so would rent the house again!

We loved our family week at Arizona. Beachfront houses are great. Even greater is one with 3 levels of ocean view decks. So whether on the beach or at the house, every meal and moment was hearing and seeing the ocean. What a tonic.
The tv room is a unique and cozy feature. Walkable are: a surf shop (where we rented umbrellas and hired surfing lessons), an ice cream store, and a grocery/deli with EXCELLENT breakfast burritos.
Whoever gets the upstairs master bedroom with view is in for a fortunate week.

What a great week in Salvo! Sitting on any of the three decks overlooking the ocean will take away all of your troubles. The short walk to the beach is rewarded with plenty of space to spread out and enjoy the surf.
The well appointed kitchen made it easy for us to cook all of our meals. The outdoor table was a wonderful setting for dinner each night.
“Arizona” is close to all of the activities the island has to offer. A short drive to visit the Cape Hatteras Lighthouse or rent a 4x4 for exploring the seashore.
We will definitely visit again.

Great beach house, away from the busy areas of the OBX. The house was clean and spacious, with beautiful views of the ocean and a short walk to the beach. David is a great host, very responsive.

Nice home with great access to a wonderful beach. Plenty of room for families inside and out. Perfect "get away from it all" location. Wonderful Host.
5.0
Wonderful beach property- the family loved the views. We even saw dolphins on day 1! The location was also great for exploring the islands.
In reading the reviews left by others, I would agree that this place is a bargain. For the price point it was beyond what was expected.
There are a few minor things I wish i knew ahead of time, none of which would have changed my mind to stay:
The loose sand on the shared path to the beach, along with the stairs at the house (and time spent exploring the islands) my ankles were a bit sore by the end of the week. I would also recommend bringing additional towels as with a party of 8, two sets of towles/washcloths would have been nice-along with more kitchen towels and rags.
Also in regards to cleanliness, it was much cleaner then the last few hotels I've stayed at honestly. I think the normal cleanings are satisfactory, but could probably use the drapes being washed soon and the outside picked up from things falling off the decks from past visitors, blowing trashcans, neighboring homes ect...
I would absolutely recommend this location to others, and I would not hesitate to stay again.
