I liked nothing the staff was very rude . Felt very unsafe to the point did not stay at the property . Crack head central ! The rooms offered to me had broken locks . It gave me sex trafficking vibes !
The worker try to offer me only rooms with broken locks because I booked through bookings . Front desk lady was very rude would I told her I didn't feel safe sleeping in a room with no locks with my infant son. She told me basically I could deal with it or leave !

Proximity to the dodgers stadium
No cable TV so if you don't already have something to stream like youtube or Netflix, you can't really watch much.
They only gave 2 of the smallest pillows ever. There were cigarette burns in my blanket, the body wash dispenser didn't work, my toilet needed plunging, too small closet loud partying all night.

It was comfortable and in good shape. Everything worked well and we felt safe. The employees were great. The windows open and we got fresh air.
The price at the last minute was astronomical for the accommodation, but less expensive than almost anything else we could find. The knob on the bathroom door was missing and replaced with duct tape to keep the latch from functioning.

Location. I really needed a hotel in this part of the Bronx.
It provides good access to transportation and again, its location is what I was looking for.
The hotel is fairly modern and the beds are comfortable. Showers were in good working order. There was hot water and the toilets worked just fine.
I had asked for a non-smoking room and the one I got had a very bad smell of cigarette smoke. I had.to request for a room change after the first night, which staff were thankfully willing to do.
I had to ask for additional towels and toilet paper.
There was a soap dispenser only for the wash basin and you need to provide everything else.
The bathroom door did not have a latch and the room's door had the security latch broken.
The key card stopped working daily and I had to go back down to the check-in counter to get it activated.
Sadly, much of the clientele is not very considerate and they are very loud. They don't seem to care about other guests and shout, bang on doors and likely smoke when not supposed to.
I don't think it is a very safe place because pretty much anyone can walk in and wander around the premises. There is only one person at the check-in counter and no other staff visible.

The hotel facilities were atrocious. The bed was awful; linens were practically cardboard; if you leaned on the headboard the sconces went out - if the electricity worked at all; there was a punched hole in the television; it was not well maintained; there was a dolphin blanket as opposed to an actual comforter; water leaked from the ceiling in the bathroom through the light; there were zero toiletries, iron, or blow drier; and you could hear EVERYTHING in the hall like the domestic violence altercation at 1am. I paid $800 for Wednesday night to Saturday morning.

Closeness to the subway. Comfortable bed. modern bathroom and bed.
The lobby has no chairs to sit for guests. So if you are waiting to be attended to or food ordered, you will be standing there for a while. Noticed that the hotel was frequented by sex workers. Our first night we had to use the elevator and heard sex noises coming from a bedroom. Also overheard a conversation from someone asking about the price rate per day or per hour.
Noise in the hallways from customers till late in the night and outside! Walls are thin. 3 thin flimsy pillows for a king size bed. 1 thin cover and comforter with cigarette burn holes. Cigaret ash in bath cel.
The bathroom toilet couldn't flush properly after day 1. Someone ( owner/worker) had to come unplug it. When he came with a toilet pump, he left the toilet and seat in a wet mess. Service sucked!
The stench of Marijuana is everywhere. The hallways were filthy. Small/little towels to almost no bath towels, No turning your bed after 2 days. No microwave. DO NOT BE DECEIVED BY THE PICTURES and REVIEWS.

Location only
Bed sheets were ripped and uncomfortable. You could hear everything through the walls. Shower was terrible, no hot water and not water pressure. Towels were very small, no decor. There was a chair for sex in the room(very odd) . Our room was never cleaned

It was in the Bronx so not my usual stop in the NYC area and close to the Bronx Zoo
Everything after I called to ask about nearby parking was a disaster. Signs at the the plexiglass enclosed “check-in” desk screamed no refunds - no visitors. Sadly the language barrier at the desk made it very difficult to get a straight answer about the no visitors.
Getting up to my room, lights didn’t work, the tv didn’t work, the room was a mush mash of furniture including a desk with no chair. The only chair in the room was a “tantric chair” like object at the end of the bed that I wouldn’t touch. The cover on the bed had cigarette burns, the pillows were 21 square pillows wrapped in cases, not real pillows, and the provided disposable plastic cup was not wrapped for safety or sanitary purposes.
The overall room was not at all like photographed for promotion. I’d hazard a guess to say this was a by the hour hotel at best.
The 20 minutes I stayed in the room was spent booking a new hotel in NYC and saying goodbye to $850 dollars because there are no refunds.

There is very little to like about this property. The only positives I can name are the mini fridge and proximity to a Metro North station.
The sheets were soiled -- hair, dirt, and cigarette burns in the pillows (non-smoking room), large pieces of dirt on the bed frame, sticky/gluey blobs on the floor, no pillowcases, no housekeeping, no clock/alarm clock, nothing in the vending machine except a few bags of Cheez-Its, no dresser or chest to store clothes, no basic toiletries, TV was set up to someone's account and one night someone other than me was controlling the TV (which felt alarming), hole cut out of ceiling with exposed pipe in the bathroom, scary neighborhood, loud neighbors (woke up at 4AM to sound of people having sex), can't use the stairs and none of the doors are labeled as no re-entry (meaning you'll just be stuck in the stairwell if you try to exit that way versus the elevator)

A modern vibe for the Bronx. Hotel itself is well-lit. No room service so you don’t have to worry about anyone going in your room. Room had black out curtains and nice bathroom finishes. The location is nice, but you must have thick skin and know how to maneuver to the gentle sounds of random gun shots, crackheads yelling in the middle of the night, and excessive noise, followed by the aroma of smoked drugs and urine.
The smells. The elevator. The other guests are loud and could be intimidating. There is no gym. The dial soap dispenser that is shampoo/soap in one? My bed comforter was teal blue with actual dolphin pics on it… which was strange and fine, but I did not feel the sheets/towels were washed 100%.I did not leave my valuables in the room for the off chance that anyone did come in, I didn’t trust they would be safe. I think this place is what it is and served it’s purpose… for the priced it was but I will probably never re-book or recommend to my friends/family.

Room was clean — elevator and common spaces not so much.
EXTREMELY NOISY! All night long there were screams, people/kids running in the halls, people talking loudly, strange bangs and ticking noises (that’s in addition to the elevator which pings loudly every time it reaches the floor). The halls are wide and empty with high ceilings and every sound is magnified. The front desk staff is completely indifferent — I stood there waiting 5 mins while the clerk finished a personal phone call so I could check in.

Upon arriving into the room, you could smell bleach and mildew. The room only had one light that worked. There were no lightbulbs in any of the other light fixtures. For the tub was dirty. We asked for a non-smoking room, and apparently every other room was smoking because all you can smell was marijuana through the halls. After leaving I noticed that my car keys were not with me in upstate New York. I called the facility and gave the woman at the front desk my phone number and she said she would call me in 10 days. It’s been two days and I still have not received a phone call..

The hallway on the 3rd floor was horrible with cigarette. My asthma was bad thanks to the smoking and my boyfriend get stuck in the bathroom because the door doesn't work some have to come to take him out and you can hear all the noise from outside.

The hotel was beautiful inside I was afraid it was going to be a mess because I saw an old google picture of the property. But inside was immaculate. variety of food places close buy to choose from. Room was clean and bed was comfortable
There is no parking. Hotel advertises no parking and they mean it! You have to find parking around the neighborhood. No coffee maker in room. No chair to sit at the desk if I had work to do would have to do it one the bed.

The personal was very friendly and nice
One of the light in the room wasn’t working so it stayed on all night

Staff was friendly and attentive to requests made for extra items when needed. Renovated bathroom looked nice but small and the water wasn't very hot, barely lukewarm. Nice to have a Roku controlled flat screen HD tv though. AC blew ice cold air as expected so the room temperature was comfortable after a hot day of walking around NYC.
Hard bed mattress, unidentified stain on the curtain, two broken light fixtures, broken door lock/latch, small bath towels that hardly wrap around you especially if you're a bigger sized person, and the location being right in the middle of The Bronx is kinda rough for people who aren't from the area.

Great and modern hotel for the bronx
Smelt like cigarettes and pot all day and all night throughout the entire hotel

Very cheap and affordable
Where do I start…first room didn’t have working AC so reception had to come fix. Then I had to switch rooms bc they sent some fake maintenance dude up to my room to fix the toilet not flushing (constant water running, not a clog) and the guy was like give it time and it’ll work (even though he didn’t get it to flush at all) woke up a few hours later to the sound of the toilet still running (aka NOT WORKING) so I talked to a new receptionist who instantly switched my room. New room was nice, much smaller. Still extremely thin sheets and comforter. In both rooms my shower NEVER got warmer than the coldest version of lukewarm with poor pressure. Towels in the first room were dirty. Location is sketchy and not near anything. Closest subway is 12 minutes in a neighborhood that is uncomfortable to walk around at night. Lots of small shops nearby but would never stay here again. If my trip was longer than 2 nights, I would’ve rebooked elsewhere to have a better peace of mind.
3.0 / 5.0
This current stay I had a room that had a bed in it and a dresser with a refrigerator and chair. There would have been no way to take the chair to the other side of the room by the window but we didn't need to anyway but the room to me was still a decent size. The staff lady who helped us she was very nice and courteous I think her name started with B, Sorry can't remember. I love the lights around the television not only does it provide a nice soft light but I'm considering using that in my own home.
King beds only come with two pillows which I always have to request an additional pillows anywhere I go because of my disability, and as much as they do oblige with only 1 pillow, I'm still left with only two pillows for two people. My partner and I have stayed in this location many times and sometimes there's one thing off with each room. The room I had with this booking had no handle on the door of the bathroom, it had no light bulbs in the lamps above the beds and this particular mattress was harder then the other rooms I have tried.

The location was good.
The shower is leaking all over the place in the bathroom.
Was uncomfortable Too much noise on the hallway. We aren't able to sleep on the two nights we stay, the 3 night we went to a friend's house in order to get some sleep. It is too expensive for the quality of the place.
