A perfect stay at the Opera House Hotel

This is a perfect hotel. We liked the breakfast. During the days the coffee was free. The staff was very helpful and friendly. It was a quiet room. Well cleaned every day. This was a good vacation for us.

We were satisfied. The place around the hotel wasn't so nice and clean. But...they can't help it. We saw a lot of poor people,but there were never troubles.

Cute place, watch the neighborhood

Cute place with lots of history. Enjoyed my stay!

Part of town this is in was a bit sketchy, I was chased by a homeless guy. Hotel can't help this, but just be aware.

Every time again, we come here since 5 years.

We just love this hotel and we come here every time.The breakfast is good too and the rooms are big and clean. The beds are very comfortable after a long shopping day outside.

Nothing. The location of the Hotel is actually good is near the subway and bus station but it’s a lot of homeless people around.

Uma jóia de NY num lugar ok do Bronx

O quarto é bastante grande, assim como as camas e o sanitario, o que nos promoveu muito conforto e tivemos muito espaço para todas as malas. O café da manhã me surpreendeu com a variedade dos alimentos: salada de frutas, varios tipos de cereais, varios tipos de pães, varios tipos de cafés, dentre outras coisaa. O hotel tinha estacionamento onde pudemos colocar o carro que alugamos. Os funcionários são prestativos e muito educados. O hotel está muito perto de uma estação de metrô. E a tarifa dele é imbatível para o padrão de NY.

A localização dele não é das melhores. O ambiente ao redor é meio degredado, com pessoas estranhas e lojas velhas. Ainda assim, me senti segura ao andar na rua, mesmo chegando na madrugada. A localização é longe de Manhattan também, o que nos fazia gastar uns 40 minutos por dia para acessar os lugares que queríamos. Ainda assim, valeu a pena, por todos os pontos positivos e pelo valor que pagamos.

Gostamos muito do espaço do quarto, do café da manhã e demais instalações!

Apesar da localização do hotel ser boa, em função de ser muito perto da estação do metrô, as quadras em volta estão com muitos moradores de rua, muitos usando drogas e passando mal, tanto na saída do metrô quanto nas quadras até chegar ao hotel, também muita sujeira pelas calçadas, sentimos insegurança quando voltávamos a noite; entendemos que isso é uma questão mundial, impossível de controlar, uma pena, pois fora isso o hotel é ótimo.

Nous avons apprécié l'accueil, le métro qui est à 150 mètres de l'hôtel, la propreté. Enfin TOUT.

la chambre était spacieuse, propre, les lits fait tous les jours et les serviettes changées également il y a du choix pour le petit déjeuner et le choix également pour le café, chocolat, cappuccino etc ... Le personnel à l'accueil était très agréable

il manquait de la charcuterie pour le petit déjeuner

Overall, I was comfortable and happy.

Inside hallways and lobby was clean. The rooms were clean as well. I like that it was a pull out couch in the room as an extra bed. It was quiet in the halls too, too loud kids running etc.

Small parking lot and the toilet wasn’t flushing even after a fix. The location is also crappy and did not really feel safe. Breakfast options were pretty limited, at least have a one form of hot breakfast to offer like pancakes or a waffle machine for waffles.

Terrible location, not safe and when asked for a refund I was denied. This hotel did not meet the expectation that was set forth.

great experience, Yankees won, would do it again!!

my son purchased me & him tickets to see the Yankees, this was our 1st time ever to NY, wanted a hotel close to the stadium. The staff were very friendly, the hotel was very clean, our room was clean, bed was comfortable, they had a nice breakfast every morning.

the location, which I know had nothing to do with the hotel it self. just a complete culture shock from someone who comes from nothing but country settings.

Great place to stay with kind employees and close access to the subway.

The service was amazing and the room was very nice as well. They had extra bathrooms on each floor so if someone needed to use it, it was available. I was upgraded for a small fee of $2 for a nicer room which was very nice. The complimentary breakfast was small but nice for being included in the cost.

Pillows were flatter than I am typically used to, but so honestly could have asked for additional pillows.

Relaxing Stay.

Walking into this hotel is a breath of fresh air, for it has no resemblance to the area around it. It’s lovely, great reception, and very relaxing and comfortable. Great style, that would rival a hotel in tourist-ville Manhattan. Continental breakfast was extremely helpful, especially before a day of exhausting sightseeing, and hot tea, or coffee available around the clock when wanting a relaxing beverage. Notice NYPD patrolling area a lot, even taking a break in the hotel Mezzanine. That made us feel very secure when arriving back from a night out, and just generally. Quiet rooms, did not experience a lot of foot traffic in the hallways. There’s eateries close by, pizza Dunkin’ Donuts, Taco Bell, McDonald’s. Also a supermarket at the corner across the street.
