The proximity to the beach can't be beat! We really enjoyed the convenience of being steps away from the beach.
We had a group of eight adults and three kids under 4. The layout of the house via the listing felt like a good fit but the rooms are very tiny with hardly any room for your luggage. It was difficult to maneuver in some spaces. The upstairs unit being the exception. (Side note: in the event of a fire or some sort of emergency you are not going to have access to the windows in most bedrooms as they are covered).
When we arrived there were wet towels along with some boxers and socks left in the washer and bedding in the dryer that had not been finished before our arrival. Luckily we noticed this fairly quickly or the wet towels might have caused an odor if not caught.
The communication with the host was great leading into our stay, however I did not receive the check in instructions during the timeframe they had said I would. This caused a little extra stress as we were traveling and just hoping that info would get to us in time.
We also did not receive check out instructions until 11pm the night before leaving. It would be helpful if they'd have those just posted on the fridge or something. The list wasn't extensive but it did add some extra stress receiving so late before an early morning of traveling home.
There were also things we didn't pack because they were listed in the amenities that actually weren't in the home (iron, hairdryer, etc).

Dirty and slapped together. Parking is an absolute nightmare!! Really close to the beach and wonderful neighbors. I have pics, but no way to upload.

The owner was very accessible The close proximity to the beach was great, and the beach itself was amazing. The accommodations were great for our large group.

Soooo close to the beach... was perfect for our visit from MN with our family of 12. Internet outage while we were there was a bit of a bummer but required a third party internet provider to fix

When we arrived to Savannah it took us over two hours to get to Tybee island because it was “Orange Crush” weekend, a huge party for Savannah State students. There were people and police everywhere and it was extremely hard to get onto the island. Our host made no mention of this notorious weekend when we booked our trip that included my one year old son and 90 year old grandmother. The house was in ok shape but the upstairs smelled like smoke. The balcony also had loose railings which was very scary with a one year old in the house. Local neighbors felt very bad for us that we were not told what was happening on the island that weekend. The house was in a great location but I do not recommend going the third weekend in April!

The check in would have been smoother if we had gotten the info earlier then 2am the morning of the check in. Once we got it the place was fine. Needs some maintence on little things, otherwise all was good

This house on north Tybee was absolutely fabulous. From the reviews, I was afraid it might be a bit small but it was just lovely, clean, plenty of room for everybody. Close to lovely restaurants and shops. The beach amazing- we were up in the morning for the sunrises!!!! Very well equipped. No complaints at all except the one we expected- there is room for 3 and only 3 cars to park, folks had no problem parking on the streets, paying during the days. We loved this place!!!!

Everything was good but someone left seafood liquid in a bowl hidden in cabinet beneath the bar and after finding it, boy what a foul smell. The televisions were difficult to get working.

The house is in a less populated part of Tybee. So it was a little more relaxed atmosphere on the beach. Quick walk to and from the beach was a plus. Parking is a little tight. But we made it work with 2 SUVs and a truck. House was perfect for my family of teens and young adults. Would recommend to any family that it is very well priced and amenities were great!!!

Our son and his family arrived first and Stephanie found wet sheets in the washer and damp towels in the dryer. When we arrived I text the owner and told them. They checked and I was told the cleaner had an emergency. I dried the towels and sheets and it was not a problem. The next day another cleaner came to collect the linens and I was told there was not an emergency, the clearer forgot. This bothered me.
One set of bunk beds is extremely wobbly so it was not used fir sleeping. Our grandsons used it for their luggage and dressing area. The room they did stay in we discovered in the middle of the week had a ladder that was not secured to the bed. Our four year old grandson was on the top bunk on his tablet and when he started down the ladder slipped out of its groove falling against the door leaving him scrambling to get back on the mattress and trapped in the room! We thought he had fallen and was against the door, thankfully he answered. I walked outside to find the window, hoping it was unlocked, while his parents calmed him down. The window was unlocked and we finally were able to get him to push in the safety lock. I called the property manager left a message about what had happened and was never called back.
Whatever company cleans this property needs to be replaced with one that thoroughly cleans. It bothered my husband that the upstairs had no smoke detector and that the hall stairwell light rarely worked. The upstairs has a cockroach. A property with potential!

We had an awesome time here! House was very roomy plenty enough room for my family and everyone had there own space. Kitchen had been updated recently and plenty of dishes, utensils and nice size kitchen table! Everything was great, my only complaint was parking.. we had two vehicles and it was very tight with other neighbors vehicles near by. If you had a small trailer or boat, you couldn’t fit it in parking space unless you parallel parked. All in all, we recommend and would definitely go again in the future!

It does sleep a large number of people, however, it is tight. As long as you are ok being in close quarters, this is a great place to stay.
