This was booked on our behalf by a friend. It was her granddaughters naming ceremony @ Thwaites Village Hall. Although Angela does not come from these parts she did us proud. Amazing location, homely, comfortable. What more could we ask for.
Thanks for your hospitality.

Location, the sea on the doorstep, quiet little village, very close to the lakes
Breakfast was really good for the money
Friendly staff
You could hear other guests in rooms adjacent even when they were only talking. So didn't feel comfortable talking freely as they would hear you too.

Great host. Very welcoming. Breakfast was delicious. She was very accommodating too. Where it is situated is very quiet and small local pubs and shops. Different but very enjoyable.
It was a little noisy in the morning, but other then that no complaints.

Access to the beach and good standard of cleanliness.
When arrived told WiFi wouldn't be available. When given the option for breakfast the night before no one mentioned that you could only pay with cash, this was only explained after breakfast which meant a 20 minute round trip to the cash point. A delay not ideal on a business trip.

Loved the location, right next to the sea, in the centre of Haverigg. Walking distance to the centre, the beaches and the local pubs. Not far from the mountains.
The mattress was super comfy and I could have stayed in the shower all day!

Great location close to everything in the village and very easy to find.
Super comfy bed!
Lyn was very friendly and welcoming.
Very clean.
The double room with private bathroom is huge and shower was lovely!
Chose not to have breakfast so can’t comment on that.
Hairdryer not in the room (I’m sure Lyn would have got one but I had taken my own).

The house was exceptional. Brilliant location. Absolutely everything you needed was available

This was one of the most comfortable and convenient overnight stays I've had in recent years, even a nice deep bath for a hot water soak after a day of walking.
I can't think of anything to criticise except myself for forgetting to book breakfast in advance, which is necessary (and clearly stated) but it wasn't a big problem.

very welcoming and extremely cosy
