Barndance is a spacious, clean condo perched on the side of big mountain. Was a perfect spot for our Glacier family get away. Derek was great to work with, responded quickly and even proactively provided recommendations for Whitefish and Glacier. . Highly recommended.

Very well setup facility, easy to get into, large work space for our company meetings, BBQ was great to have

We stayed for a week with 3 families/ 8 kids and it was perfect. Each family had their own space/ bathroom and the kids had room to spread out. Access to the slopes was super close (maybe 3 houses away) and very easy for the kids to walk to and from in all the gear. Great views of the mountain from the hot tub too! All around wonderful stay!

The property was very clean and well kept. The furnishings were a bit rustic, but the kitchen was well stocked and there was a beautiful view from the deck. We enjoyed staying there!

I had not been to Glacier or Whitefish before, and did not realize that Whitefish mountain aka big mountain was not a bustling 4 season resort but it’s a collection of homes with 2 stores for necessities. The town was 10-15 minutes away, and Glacier national park is another 30 minutes, then a drive to trailhead within the park. So, my bad. Had I known, I might try lodging in whitefish itself. Restaurants and bars are there. Mountain is quiet.
That aside, this is a duplex sharing a common wall with another nice mirror image unit. New, well appointed, very nice but not blown away spectacular. Worked very well for 8 adults (4 pairs) all from one family group. There is a bunk bed room for 4 and another 2 twin beds off the master bedroom only useful for small kids you want to keep an eye on- so functionally 3 sleeping pairs plus a room with bunk beds and a door.
One of two dryers, one of two coffee makers, a hairdryer and the dishwasher were broken. The only one of consequence was the dw which was repaired on day 2 and in the interval the cleaning crew came and did the dishes!
Easy to reach property manager who is also a great glacier park resource
Overall, despite the setup being different than I expected, an unexpected drive to Glacier or into town, and a couple of broken items in the condo, it all worked out well. This place worked well for a family get-together looking for a quiet place to bond. I would recommend it if that’s what you’re looking for.

The property was beautiful, clean, and a wonderful landing spot for our family to enjoy the beauty of northern Montana. We will be back for sure and have already shared our many pictures and experience with our friends and they too are looking for our itinerary!

My family and I had great time staying at this property. We road-tripped to MT from MN with 8 adults, two toddlers, and three infants. It was a comfortable place to rest and relax in between our adventures to Whitefish and Glacier National Park. My favorite part about the home was sitting on the deck watching the sunrise come up over the mountains, usually with a cup of coffee and a baby :)
Thank you!

This house was fantastic! We had a group of 13 people, 6 adults and 7 kids from 16-8 years old. There was plenty of space for us all. Loved the hot tub on the balcony, really special to be in as it was snowing, looking back at the mountain. The house was very clean, had all the kitchen appliances that we needed as we cooked almost every night. Was easy to ski in and out of off of Home Again run. Perfectly in between the lodge and the village. Would definitely recommend!

A few of my friends and I rented this home while we were skiing at Whitefish Mountain Resort and exploring the surrounding area.
The home is located right off the ski slopes. You can walk down the drive a few hundred feet, put your skis on, and ski down a side trail into the main ski areas. Or, you can walk down to the base lodge easily enough.
The home is well appointed. There are some scuff marks here and there throughout the home. This is typical for a vacation rental, but I was a bit cautious noting these as the home's rules are quite strict regarding any damage. Nonetheless, nothing appeared to be broken or unclean.
The VRBO photos are fairly representative of the home. The only snag might be the bedroom with the two single beds. That bedroom is actually attached to the master suite. You have to walk through the master suite's bedroom area, through the master suite's closet, and finally into the bedroom with the two single beds. That could be an issue for anyone wanting privacy in the suite. However, we didn't need the extra bedroom so it wasn't a bother.
This is a duplex. The neighbor said hello to us in the driveway. He was friendly and well aware that he lives next to a vacation home! Still, he says noise doesn't seem to be an issue for them.
The property manager is friendly and communicates effectively and often through text message. They answered questions quickly and were always on-hand to help.
One thing the property could do better is harmonize the multiple access codes you need at the property. It became quite confusing getting through doors with all of the different codes that don't seem to be related to one-another! You'll need to make a note in your phone to keep track of all of them.
Overall, this is a terrific place to stay if visiting Whitefish Mountain... or the area in general.
Enjoy your visit!
