Great view, poor beach, nice fire pit, poor lighting, bad smell in basement, no tv, good internet, broken stove burner, well stocked, dated, in need of upkeep in and out, property is nice but going down hill soon. Would not go back although had an ok stay. Price was too high for property status.

The house was great. The views of the water were very special. The house had everything we needed.

Very much enjoyed this beautiful area of Trenton with its colorful foliage and serene water. Convenient to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. House is quaint and cozy. Great stay.

My friend and I LOVED staying at this beach house. Beautiful view of the sunset each night, and easy access to the beach for morning and evening walks. The property is very well maintained and comfortable. After spending the day among the crowds at Bar Harbor and Acadia, this secluded location was the perfect spot to unwind.

We stayed here for our "mini-moon" after our wedding in Maine. We wanted to explore Acadia and have a quiet place to unwind. We enjoyed the peaceful surroundings and exploring the shoreline. The house met our needs.

Very nice location and very relaxing

Close to Acadia but far enough away to be quiet and peaceful for winding down in the evening. Fun fire pit while looking out over the water. A/C is only in 1 bedroom, so the mobile fan provided was much appreciated.

My family enjoyed the beautiful setting of the house. It was great to wake up each day with a view of the water. The location is peaceful and yet near enough to most of the attractions; a good balance. The house itself is nicely appointed and was more than adequate for our needs. A few minor repairs were needed but other than that we were very satisfied with this property.

Located about 1/2 hour drive from Acadia National Park, The Tideside Beach House fit our needs for a relaxing stay (couple/adult son). The house is located on water so we enjoyed beautiful views each morning and stunning sunsets each evening with a campfire. The property manager Susan was easy to communicate with, giving us ideas of things to do/see, and great directions for checking in and out. The house was clean, main bedroom comfortable queen bed and 2nd bedroom had 2 twins. The kitchen was equipped with what we needed. Fridge is smaller, but since we ate out most meals, not really an issue for us. I would just recommend not buying larger items. We had some trouble at times with cell phone connection, but again it didn't affect our stay. I enjoyed a walk along the shoreline too!

We had a lovely time staying at this property. The location is overlooking the water and the view is stunning. It is tucked back in the woods and very secluded and peaceful. The house is a perfect size for a small family. We had our 8 year old daughter and she loved the bedroom, that is perfect for kids. The kitchen is well equipped and the style is very retro. The couches were comfortable. Overall it was a lovely home to stay in.

This little home is in a terrific location right on an inlet. The view is beautiful even though it seemed like the tide was always out when we were looking at it!! Our drive to Acadia was maybe 20-30 minutes from this home, so that was totally doable. Ellsworth was about 15-20 minutes the other direction for supplies. Kitchen was stocked with appliances and some extras like coffee filters, so that was nice. Communication with owner was great and check in was easy. Books and local info was supplied and appreciated!
Our only complaints would be around the bedding: the pillows were old and well-used - they could use a new batch of those, and could use a minimum of two per guest. My two (age 18+) kids used the twin beds and said they were hard and not comfortable at all. They rarely complain about beds, so for them to mention it, they must have really been not great for adult use.
The queen bed was comfortable.
I would certainly recommend this adorable property - it was clean, the communication was awesome, the location was terrific. But at almost $400 a night after all the tax and fees, it could use a little tlc around the bedding to be truly worth that much of a fee.

This house is clean and in a great location. Located in the water. Absolutely beautiful view. The house while good was not exactly comfortable. After long days of hiking at ANP, we wanted to relax. There are no end tables for beverages, no lamps, and no place to put your feet up. Additionally, the kitchen could have been better stocked with more than 1 cutting boards and cookie sheets. We took advantage of the grill and cooked at night. No cleaning product to wipe down countertops. Didn’t know I was supposed to supply as this as always been furnished at other properties. Oddly, the toilet seat is too small for the toilet??! The beds were good. Outside was beautiful. We took advantage of the fire pit but it needs to be replaced as it has a large hole and half of it is unusable. It has deteriorated. The house was not terrible but had the potential to be great and very comfortable with a little tweaking.
