Great location and home worked well for us! Very easy drive to the NRG bridge and visitor center and downtown Fayetteville. Could probably use a deep clean at the end of the season, but we were comfortable for our stay!

Great location! We explored so much and never had to travel more than 25 min.

The location was perfect! Close to all New River Gorge Activities! Inside was nice and clean. Enjoyed the big yard for the kids to play and to have a fire.

The cabin was very clean, super cute and even included extras that other rentals don't often have. The location was perfect for what we wanted to do. It accommodated my family very well with the beds/bedrooms. Only two (slight) drawbacks. 1- the trundle room didn't have any A/C; 2- the shower is beautiful but we couldn't find a way (and we tried everything) to keep the water from spilling/spraying all over the bathroom floor in a huge puddle. Overall a fantastic place to rent!!

The place was nice and adequate. It was in need of some updating, but overall a nice place to stay for our Men's church conference.

The place was beautiful, however, there were cobwebs all over the outdoor furniture and weeds had grown over! We could not get the microwave to work either. Other than that….it was a great vacation! Thanks for having us!!

Our stay was fantastic! There was a water break at the house before we got there but we had excellent communication with the hosts prior to arrival. Although our check in was delayed, they refunded us for the first night and made suggestions of nearby places for us to stay. Their communication made the process simple and did not interrupt our vacation at all. The house was clean and well taken care of. If you are headed to Fayetteville I highly recommend staying here!

I’m 43 years old, I work from home and have been staying with my 69 year old mom and dad the last 5 or 6 years. I rented this cabin to take them to visit my Aunts and Cousins for a few days. We spent the last 4 days of an Indian Summer October in a beautiful cabin tucked in the woods. I worked from the internet connection during the day and my family did what they wanted. I sat by the fire pit outside on my breaks watching the wind sprinkle beautiful tiny yellow leaves across the yard. My mom had difficulty finding the road to access the cabin the first time she drove in but the hosts was very helpful and made she she found it. Apple Maps got me there fine. Sometimes in WV you can’t trust GPS but in this case I think you are fine. We loved the Kitchen. My mom said it’s the best stocked kitchen she has ever been in in terms of pots and pans. It was one of the nicest vacation rentals I have ever stayed in.

Girls trip for a long weekend at the gorge. Loved the open floor concept of the home, which made it very roomy and spacious. I even took advantage of the outside shower, and showered in the rain one evening. We couldn’t quite figure out where to leave the trash when we left, so we just left it in a trashcan by the deck. We had planned to sit outside and enjoy the fire pit, but it rained one evening so we did not get the chance. You are removed from the traffic by the Gorge, but very close to get to the park, Walmart, restaurants, etc.

Great spot- love the location and the house was beautifully designed and had all the necessary supplies, which was awesome!
The only real problem we had was that it was advertised as two bathrooms, and was really only one (an outdoor shower should not count as a bathroom). Also, it’s good to be aware that the bedrooms are small, and while the full bunk bed was good for kids, it would not fit 4 adults. Smaller groups will love this place, though, as it’s so cute and the location is wonderful!

Loved the location as it was near NR Gorge. House was totally redone inside and nice. Listing said 2 baths but there is only one. The info book at the house always referenced additional info via sites on Airbnd but we booked through VRBO so that was confusing. However the host responded quickly via email with the 2 questions we had. This was a very nice get away and we enjoyed it.

All in all it was a vwry convenient place to stay. Easy to get to. A short drive away from New River Gorge and the shops and restaurants in Fayetteville. A bit longer drive to Summersville Lake but only about 25 miles. House was very clean and comfortable. Someone had apparently made off with the silver because we couldnt find any silverware at all, otherwise the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed and there were things there which we didnt expect to find, which was a nice surprise and avoided the necessity of making a trip to a grocery store to purchase. Other minor details that were not exactly as described were lack of a hammock - found the hammock stand but no hammock and the yard was not fully f

Our family of six loved this cabin that was close to New River Gorge with the feel of being away from it all. Our boys loved the creek on the property and we enjoyed the extra touch of home the owners placed in providing board games and a comfortable place for us to relax.

This house is great for families! We loved the board games and puzzles. They thought of everything to make your stay enjoyable! The local artwork was a nice touch. It is in a great location near NRG and Summersville lake. Just a suggestion the back childrens bedroom could use blinds on the windows so the kids aren't getting up with the sun. Also we felt like there was still an old house smell.
